"Where are we Nick?" Judy asked as they entered a lonely garden. Despite being small, the garden was full of colorful flowers and trees that had a small amount of snow laying on top of them. Green grass was covering the ground as if it was a blanket that protected the soil from the cold. It was February the 14th. Before meeting each other, Valentine's Day was just another ordinary day. But not this time.

"You'll see." he simply answered. Judy looked around her. It was getting late, and the garden didn't seem to have any lights near it. Judy was obviously happy spending time with Nick, but she wasn't really sure about this. Maybe it was one of his pranks. Maybe he doesn't care about this special day. There was a wooden bench near a willow. The both sat. There was an awkward silence for about a minute, but to Judy it seemed like hours.

"Nick. It's getting dark. I can barely see anything." she broke the silence. "It's really scare." she admitted hoping that he would pay attention to her. Suddenly, he stood and sat on the grass facing his back to her. He turned his body towards her and smiled.

"Come here." he finally said. She stood up feeling awkward sat beside him. Nick was acting quite strange and that made her uncomfortable. As if it wasn't weird already, Nick started brushing his paws softly on the flowers around them. He glanced at her suggestively in order for her to repeat his action. She hesitated at first, but she did the same.

Unexpectedly, parts of the flowers broke apart and started glistening in a greenish color. Judy gasped as  hundreds of fireflies appeared from the grass and the flowers. The garden was so bright that she almost forgot that it was close to midnight.

Nick grabbed her paw and pulled her back. They were laying next to each other, gazing the sky.
Judy looked at him, and he was staring at her with that attractive smile of his. Then, Nick looked up at the sky, making her do the same. Judy' jaw dropped.

Millions, or maybe billions of stars coloring the sky. Each star was as bright as the sun. However there was a difference. When you look at the sun, your eyes hurt. When you look at the stars your eyes widen, as big as a planet which is sailing on the blue sky. Being in awe, Judy failed to notice that Nick was still holding her paw.

Nick cut the moment short and sat up, pulling her up too. He grabbed her other paw again placing a rose in it. It was red with some purple flicked droplets on its petals. She looked at the gorgeous flower, and smiled sweetly at him. "Thank you Nick."

"Judy." he finally spoke. He was so silent during the day, that she actually felt relieved hearing him talk.

"I... before meeting you, I was alone and never got the chance to celebrate Valentine's Day. I also never got the chance to ask this." Judy gulped as Nick took a deep breath.

"Will... will you be my Valentine?" he asked innocently.

She could not be happier. She jumped on him and hugged him tightly, much to his surprise.

"Of course I want to be your Valentine, Nick!" he hugged her back happily.

They laid on the green grass once again while holding paws.

"I have to admit, you scared me." she exclaimed.

Nick chuckled. "Why?"

"Are you joking? You didn't speak or annoy me all day! I thought something was wrong, and I was starting to worry. Especially on a day like this. " she continued.

"Awww, you were worried about me Carrots? Worried that I won't "annoy" you again? Oh, don't worry I have some good pranks planned for tomorrow." he said with his signature smirk and winked at her.

"You're back." Judy said while letting out some giggles.

A/N: Happy Valentine's Day guys! To tell you the truth, I wrote this story during Math class. I thought that  this idea was perfect for Valentine's Day so I couldn't wait to write it.
