POV~Nick

"Well, thanks for waiting so long before stepping in," I say angrily.

"Calm down Wilde. We had to wait till the time was right before joining in the fight," the director says.

"How can we help save Zootopia," Judy asks elbowing me in the side.

"Well, what we need is a squad of soldiers to go into Zootopia and kill the leaders. Could you create a group including both your and my men," the director asks us.

"I think that could work, under one condition. You go back and save Sanders and his team," I say staring down the moose.

"Done. I'll send a rescue team to their location right away," the director says standing up and puts his hoove out, "To a better Zootopia."

I shake his hoove, "To better Zootpia."

"Good, now my assistant will show you to where you all will be staying," he says leaving the office.

The white lioness escorts us to our own barracks. In barracks are enough beds for everybody and four showers at the end. In between the beds are both weapon lockers and armor lockers. 

I turn to the lioness, "Thank you, uh, what's your name."

"It's Alice and your welcome. If you need anything else I'll right across the yard in barracks 1A," she said before exiting our barracks.

"Well she seemed nice," Winters says sitting down in a wooden chair and pulling out a deck of cards.

"Winters! You really brought your deck of cards all the way here," Livvy said sitting down with him.

"Of course I did. It's my lucky deck. Anyone in for a game?" Winters ask shuffling the cards.

Everybody pulls up a chair and sit around the table. Winters deals out the cards and everybody looks at their own cards. I am sitting next to Judy and try looking at her cards but in return, I get an elbow to the stomach,"Okay sorry Carrots, I won't look at your cards."

"You better not! I am playing to win," she said drawing another card.

After about two hours of playing cards, Judy throws down her cards and yells,"Yes! I win, I win, you all lose and I win," while dancing.

"Ah Judy, not to rain on your parade but I actually won," Winters said showing his hand.

Judy folded her arms and frowned, "It's not fair. You are like the king of cards. How can anyone else win?" She complained.

"Well, Livvy beat me once, but we don't talk about that night. Am I right Livvy," Winters says looking at Livvy.

"Oh, yeah. That night is to never be spoken of," she says laying her deck on the table.

Judy's ears perk up in interest, "What happened that night," she asks.

"Ah well, uh, Livvy you mind telling everybody what happened that night," Winters says sheepishly.

"Nope. It's all you," she says folding her arms across her chest.

Winter breathes deeply before saying, "Ok, it all started one night at our bar. Livvy and I were working a little over time, but it was going slow. So we decided to start a game of cards. We both had a few drinks while playing and one thing led to another-,"

"You guys had sex!" Judy interrupted.

"No, no. We ended up walking through the streets totally hammered and I ended up puking all over some little kid and Livvy tripped an old lady. And that's not all. We somehow made it to one of Mr. Big's secret safe houses and we ransacked the place. We stole literally everything we could."

"Wow, that sounded like a fun night," I say smirking.

"It was but it also made us and Mr. Big enemies, which not always good," Winters says packing the cards away.

"Speaking of drinks," Livvy says pulling out a bottle of whiskey.

"Ah, Livvy. You are the best." Winters says taking the bottle. "Someone go find some glasses or something."

I get up and run over to the makeshift kitchen and find a few small glasses. I take them all back to the group and lay them on the table. Winters takes the cap off and takes a sniff of the whiskey before pouring it into the glasses.

"To us saving Zootopia and clearing Nick and Judy's name," Winters says holding up his glass.

"To new friends," I say.

"To a new beginning," Judy says.

"To a new couple," Livvy says smiling at me and Judy.

"To justice," Jack says.

We all clink our glasses together and drink the whiskey.

"Ah, I love that stuff," Winters says pouring himself another glass.

"How have you not gotten liver poisoning yet," I ask.

"Experience boy, experience," Winters says going to sip his drink when an air raid siren goes off. 

Alice busts in through the front door. "We need to go now!"

Hey, guys! So sorry for the day late chapter. I was extremely busy yesterday. But good news is I think my cold has passed! So I am able to write much longer chapters! Anyways what do you guys think of the chapter? We got to learn a little bit more about Livvy and Winters and a nice cliff hanger too. If you guys want more backstory on Winters and LIvvy's group say so in the comments. I'd love to hear form you guys.
