With some effort Judy had dragged Nick to the police station, since he was still not awake.  She dragged him past donut loving Clawhauser who worked at the desk.  He gave Judy a wave, his hand full of sprinkles from the pink sprinkle donut he had eaten earlier that morning.  With effort Judy waved back. She dragged him past Clancy, a violent elephant officer, and into Chief Bogo's office.

"I've brought in a con-artist, sir.  I thought you might want to put him in jail, for you know violating the law."  Judy proudly exclaimed.

"What did he do, that was such a violation to the law?" Chief Bogo asked, unimpressed by Judy's find.

"Well sir..." she stuttered, saying that Nick had tripped her might sound wussy, but she didn't want to lie.  Chief Bogo always found out the truth.  "He tripped me."

Chief Bogo looked down at the hopeful eyes of the little bunny in front of him,"Of course.." he said.  Judy's ears perked up immediately.  "Of course we won't arrest him, HAHAHA, what a joke" Chief Bogo laughed, " You're just a little meter maid, you can't help anybody, and the fact that this fox tripped you is even more pathetic.  Send him back to where he came from."  Chief Bogo laughed with a dismissing wave.

Discouraged Judy dragged the still non-awake fox out of the police station and dumped him into the street.

Nick awoke to feel concrete on his face.  He looked up to see Judy Hopps walking away."Hahaha, I thought you were going to arrest me." He said, "It's really a joke.  No one can be what they want, you're only what you're born into.  You're only a carrot farmer, you can never be a real police officer. "

Judy walked away pondering Nick's words.  It went against anything she believed,You can be anything you wish to be.  She could be a police officer, but could she be a real one, who the force respected?
