Zed was just walking back from the forest area allowed for zombies when he sees somethings in the bushes and apon looking closer he sees it's a egg of some kind

It was the biggest egg he had ever seen and he was over come with the need to bring it home so he did just that and was able to sneak it into his room making a little neat for it by his bed. He was gonna find out what kind of egg this was and why it was just alone in the woods, half way through the night he was awoken by the sound of cracking and when he looked over he saw something he could not believe

There was a baby dragon and I looked right at him letting out a little chirp.

Zed smiled "hey there little buddy" he says as the dragon steps forward and as it nuzzled his hand he flinched as a strong stinging sensation hits his plam as a mark apares

Just as he tried to think his dad walked in and that course the baby dragon to jump onto zed's lap "son where did you find that?" He asked "dad I found the egg in the woods and it just hatched a minute ago then when i went to pet it this mark apares on my plam" zed says.

He shows his farther his plam and his dad nods "son it it's time I tell you a story" he says leaving zed confused "but for now get some sleep and the dragon will have to stay here as zombies aren't allowed pets" his dad says then he leaves the room. The next day was zombies first day at a human high and zed was super excited to try put for the football team, as he lays down the dragon curls up next to time "I guess you need a name" he says thinking and one name came to his head.

He smiled "I'll call you saphira" he says and the dragon chirps happily and soon they both fall asleep.

The next day after school when zed got home still thinking about the cheerleader he met saphira came running towards him "yes I'm home girl" he says "she's so cute" his little sister zoey says "yea, I've given her the name saphira" he says. Zed took saphira to the woods to hopefully teach her to fly "come on you can do this" he says and after a few tries she finally gets it and flys off into the sky. Zed feels the mark sting a little and he hears wings, when he looks in front of him saphira was fully grown already

'I've waited a long time for you' a voice says in his head "wait a second you can hear my thoughts?!" Zed says shocked 'that is correct zed, a dragon and ride came communicate though thoughts' she says.

Foot steps are heard "there you.....wow" zed's farther says as he had come looking for his son saphira growls a little "wow take it easy that's just my dad" zed says and she clams down. After a little talk zed couldn't believe it "so all those stories you told my of dragon riders is real?" He asked "yes it is son" his dad says 'and the time of the dragon rider has come again' saphira says to him.
