I never knew the life before . I only knew the current state of our world.

Most people think I'm lying when I say my town is infested with zombies.

Trust me if there wasn't reality to remind me everyday I wouldn't believe it either.

4 years ago when I was only twelve they began to test on humans.

They began to infuse the living and weak with a liquid so powerful it could bring everlasting life but it backfired.

Victims immediately became hungry .

Not for food thought for human flesh.

They could rip a human apart in seconds goblins it down like its a piece of bread .

As soon as words of these creatures came out the government had a force field placed over us so they wouldn't escape.

But they forgot there was a whole town still within the boarders .

My father was a builder and had built a secret safe house for me and my family .

Including enough food to feed 10 for about 5 years .

The lock is so tight that it my only be opened by itself and our walls where made out of pure concrete.

Both my parents died that day . The day they realized them .

Lucky me I had what he'd as my dad created the place I live so I knew how  to work it.

When I liked me , my two siblings and 3 best friends in here I never thought that I would have to sacrifice everything for this broken family of mine.

We may all be broken no parent less but still we are a family.

But the thing was there was only 5 days till the lock opens and we are out of food.

Then it'll just be this little broken family versus whatever mutant animal is living outside
