Addison ran through the woods jumping over fallen logs, scaling piles of rocks, and weaving her way through the trees. The wind rushed through her hair as she ran, the overwhelming sense of freedom becoming even more intoxicating.

The sound of a twig snapping to her left brought her attention back into to focus as she watched and listened for whoever it was to make their move as she continued her sprint through the trees.

There was another rustle in the underbrush and then from the corner of her eye she saw a figure leap out at her, it was Willa. Addison moved quickly, grabbing a low hanging branch and pulling herself up and out of harm's way.

Willa vanished into the forest and Addison jumped down from the tree and continued on her run. She was almost there. Now that she was a full werewolf, her senses were heightened and on high alert.

Addison leapt across a ditch, landing in a crouched position before springing up and continuing to run. That's when she saw it, the wolf den. It was so close now.

She picked up the pace but not before catching movement in the trees to her right from the corner of her eye. Addison saw the figure move ahead of her before springing out of the underbrush.

It was Wyatt. His eyes glowed yellow and he growled as he prepared to attack. However, instead of slowing down Addison ran faster, catching him off guard as she charged him.

Addison grabbed his shoulders and used her momentum to use him as a spring board, flipping her body over his. She landed on her feet and ran for the wolf den.

Addison grinned as she grabbed the white flag, whirling around and waving it over her head. "I did it! I got the flag!"

"Well done Addison." Wylda smiled approvingly. "You're a natural at using your werewolf abilities and you've adjusted and honed them faster than anyone I've ever trained."

"Thank you." Addison replied appreciatively. "Having your help really means alot."

Wylda nodded. "Of course, it's not everyday an Alpha gets to train The Great Alpha. You will make a wonderful leader one day. I know it."

Addison sighed. "I hope so."

Wyatt and Willa emerged from the woods, like Addison they were covered in sweat from training. Both walked over and joined them.

"You've really gotten fast." Willa complimented. "I was for sure I had you back there. Nice move using the tree branch, knowing how to use your surroundings is crucial for survival."

"Thanks Willa." Addison beamed as Wyatt draped his arm around her shoulders.

"I thought I had you too." Wyatt admitted. "Speaking of moves, you definitely surprised me when you came at me like that and just jumped and flipped right over me."

Addison smirked. "Being a cheerleader has given me a wide rang of moves and skills."

"I'd say." Willa chuckled. "You rocked that training exercise. No doubt you're one of us."

Addison tilted her head to the side with a playful pout. "The ears, fangs, and hair weren't enough proof?"

Wyatt and Willa laughed and Wylda smiled at the three young wolves. Over the last year and a half the three of them had grown close. It had taken time and patience, but Willa had accepted Addison as a sister. Having his sisters getting along made Wyatt so happy. Family comes in all forms and they had created their own.

"Alright, come on you three." Wylda chuckled. "Let's go inside so you can all change, get a drink, and cool off. Sound good?"

"Definately." The three teenagers replied simutaneously. The three looked at eachother in surprise before bursting into laughter.

Wylda shook her head and walked into the den. After a moment she could hear their footsteps behind her as she entered the main area.

Addison walked over and grabbed her water bottle from cheer and took a long drink as Wyatt and Willa grabbed a drink from the small, freshwater drinking pool inside the den.

Now that they were hydrated, the three of them changed out of their sweaty clothes before sitting down to take a moment to relax.

Addison sat on a nearby rock and took a deep breath. The cool air inside the wolf den felt absolutely refreshing. She took another long sip of water as she took in her surroundings.

"Where's the rest of the pack?" Addison asked, noticing only the younger wolf pops were around.

Willa glanced up from picking leaves out of her hair. "They're out hunting. Though we can go into town to buy things, we prefer the old ways of providing for the pack. It's also a good way to practice our tracking and stealth skills."

Addison nodded in understanding. "Of course. How long are they usually gone?"

"It depends." Wyatt admitted. "If they are able to find food quickly then they'll be back in a few hours. If food is scarce it could be days."

"Wow, am I going to learn to do that?" Addison questioned.

"You will in time." Alpha Wylda explained, coming over to join them. "Though you have shown great natural skill, I believe it is best to have you practice more before showing you the ways of the hunt. When you are out in the wild, you must be on alert at all times. Not only to protect yourself, but the pack as well. Once you can properly protect yourself and use your heightened senses, then you will get your chance."

"I understand. I'll work hard so that I will be ready to take that next step." Addison promised, hiding her disappointment. She was supposed to be the Great Alpha yet it ways felt like she was the weak link.

"Hey." Wyatt said, noticing the change in her demeanor and snapping her from her thoughts as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "We all had to train the same way you are before we got to go on our first hunt and you're doing great so far. You're going to be out there hunting with us in no time, I promise."

Addison smiled, leaning over to rest her head against his shoulder. "Thanks Wyatt, I can't wait."

Willa looked out the entrance to the cave and sighed. "Alright you two, we better head out if we're going to get Addison home before dark."

Addison and Wyatt shared a playful smirk before turning back to Willa. Addison stood up and sighed. "Since when are you so worried about having to walk in the dark?"

"Yeah," Wyatt chimed in, walking over and circling his sister. "We own the night, remember?"

"Ugh." Willa groaned as she stood up. "You two are Insufferable. Can we please just go?"

Wyatt and Addison laughed as they prepared to leave. Addison slipped her bag onto her shoulders and grabbed her bottle. "Yeah we're coming."

"Yeah sis, so don't get your tail in a twist." Wyatt added.

"Oh my god." Willa groaned, throwing her hands up in surrender as she walked towards the entrance of the den. "I'll be outside."

Once Willa had dissapeared outside Addison and Wyatt burst into another fit of laughter.

"You know we really shouldn't mess with her so much." Addison admitted between laughs.

Wyatt chuckled. "I know you're right, but it's just too much fun."

Addison grinned and poked his shoulder before running towards the exit. "Race you home! Betcha can't catch me!"

"Oh you're on!" Wyatt laughed, chasing after her. "Hey Willa! Catch Addison! Let's see if she can make it home without getting caught!"

Willa shook her head before running into the woods after the two of them. "Alright I'm in! Look out Addison!"

The three let out howls of delight and laughter as they chased eachother through the trees. With all the running and fun they were having, the normally 10 minute walk turned into a 5 minute marathon of romping, laughter, and howls.

By the time they reached Addison's front door all three of them were out of breath and wearing the biggest smiles on their faces.

"I made it." Addison announced between breath's.

"Yeah, you're wicked fast Addy." Wyatt admitted, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"She just got lucky." Willa smirked. "I'll get you next time Wells."

"We'll see about that." Addison smirked back. "But first, let's go inside and I'll get you both a drink before you guys head back."

Wyatt and Willa nodded and walked up behind Addison as she opened the front door.
