From today, February 7, until February 14 inclusive, we will be adding to THIS CHAPTER one prompt daily in celebration of Valentine's Week.
There will be separate prompts on ZombieHorde and WattpadVampires, so don't forget to check out both profiles (we'll remind you, so don't worry).

Under each prompt, your task will be to write a continuation, ranging from 30 to 50 words, and submit this story via the provided form. You will have time to do so until the end of the month. Now, let's not delay any further! It's time to dive into Day One! Can you feel the excitement? Our undead hearts beat stronger.

PROMPT:

You receive 100 red roses, and like everyone else would be, you are on cloud nine. But your smile drops when you realize that they are covered with fresh dirt, and the hand giving them isn't alive anymore.

You've been waiting for this day for a long time. The perfect proposal at the very top of the observation tower in your favourite city. 'Yes' whispered with emotions and fireworks, of which you didn't even expect. But your chosen one neither... because those weren't fireworks, but gunfire from the military, trying to suppress the zombie outbreak that had spiralled out of control. At least you're safe at the top, right?

PROMPT:

Awakening from a chaotic party, you realize you've become one of the zombies. But here's the twist: you're not craving brains like the rest of them. No, your insatiable desire is for something sweeter – chocolate. With your newfound consciousness and undead hunger, how far are you willing to go to satisfy this unconventional craving?

PROMPT: 

As you reach out to the teddy bear lying beside the abandoned playground, a faint giggle echoes through the desolate park. 'Is this yours?' you ask, but the child's twisted grin sends chills down your spine. With a sudden lurch, the girl's innocent look crumbles, revealing her true form—a zombie lurking in the darkness, accompanied by a horde hungry for flesh.

When you were working on the new virus, your supervisor promised you that it would be a ground-breaking discovery. And it was, but not in the way you'd hoped. Your experiment caused the whole world to struggle with a zombie outbreak. Now, standing in the middle of chaos, will you find the courage to offer a desperate promise that everything will somehow be okay?

PROMPT:

Caught in a tender moment, your partner's arms wrap around you from behind. Once a source of comfort, their touch now feels constricting and suffocating. Panic sets in as their grip tightens, and a faint growl sends shivers down your spine. With growing unease, you realize that these arms hold sinister secrets.

In the chaos of the zombie apocalypse, you rely on your partner for survival. But when they knowingly kiss you with an infected bite, the trust you shared shatters. Now, you're both in a race against time. Will love be enough to overcome this ultimate betrayal?

PROMPT:

You've finally obtained the vaccine. With trembling hands, you inject it into the zombie you once loved, hoping against hope for a miracle. As you wait, every second feels like an eternity. Will the vaccine bring back your beloved, or will it be a bitter reminder of love lost to the apocalypse?
