As you were gathering things (either for you or if you're in a group, then your group), you noticed the one person that you have seen for a while. You never really knew him as he just followed the birds before disappearing.

One day while going on a walk, you found him, struggling again a bear trap that probably was set by some group that claimed the area. He just fought to get it open before any zombies got to him, his leg leaving behind a small pool of blood which would attract the dead.
