It is  a very terrifying night in Emerald city where humans where humans were eaten alive by some creatures. The whole city, in a total mess with everyone running for survival. Some may even call it a stampede.

Ivy, walking through the paths in the city could barely believe her eyes. She could hardly watch as some people were eaten alive in the streets. Everything was turned upside down with this newly unexplained zombie apocalypse. Ivy could only run for her life.
      FIVE HOURS EARLIER
At the Emerald University Medical Center,during practicals for biology students, Doctor Harley explained to her class in the laboratory. "So now we've had a chance to see what see looks like" Doctor Harley said pointing to a dead body laying on the table. "The question for all of you is, how did he die. And remember the patient first complained of a sore throat, fever and a cough, considering these factors, can you find this man's cause of death" Harley said once more.

As the students were taking down notes to find the cause of death, Abigail said "syphilis". "Nice try Abigail but I don't think syphilis infects the lungs" doctor Harley retorted. Harley asked the students "Peter", "Suzie", all to no avail.

Being the smartest student, Ivy said "influenza". "Correct " Doctor Harley said.

The class was over and while going out Suzie asked "hey doc any chance you want to come to the end of semester siesta" Harley nodded in affirmation. Turning her attention to Ivy, Suzie said "you're coming right? "
"Yeah sure" Ivy replied and entered into the lab to run some tests.
"Sorry to bother you Ivy but your regular just came in to give his weekly blood sample ". Doctor Harley said. "Can Suzie help? He makes me uncomfortable " Ivy said. "I know he's a  bit strange but trust me Ivy, this is a great opportunity for you " Harley insisted and walked away gently. Ivy with a faint smile on her face, got up to attend to her patient, Max.

Ivy grabbed her gloves and went towards max. "Hi Ivy". Max said.
"Hello Max". Said Ivy. "It's great to see you again " max said but Ivy didn't even crack a smile. "Your arm, roll up your sleeve" Ivy said ready to extract his blood sample.

"Have you thought about what I asked you ".  Max said. "I told you not interested" Ivy replied. Ivy still didn't crack a smile. "You know I'm never gonna give up ". Max said. Ivy then proceeded in extracting his blood sample.

Just then, Max rolled up his other sleeve to reveal a mark carved and embedded into his flesh with the inscription "Ivy". Max is a sick psycho who is crazy in love with Ivy. Just then Suzie came in referring to Ivy with a broad smile said "come on the party is waiting "
