Thiers a time in all our lives that we have to face something hard and we have to make a decision on the spot. This has happened a lot in my family and it has caused a lot of broken trust in the camp. Oh, I always forget to tell what happened to the world sorry about that. So someone decided to mess with some untested chemicals and oddly enough the lab where they got it from had a grave and it started the Apocalypse. Thankfully we are on an island so it's only here. We've been trying to contact the government but that always leads to zombies finding us. 

Now my family isn't that smart to be a scientist but most of them are in the Army and we would always fail in saving the most "important" people in the camp. I say that with quotations because it's just young rich girls that get more food than the others they even get more than the pregnant woman!!! Okay, I'm getting a little carried away but it's just not right. Oh, I should mention that I'm not in the Army I'm too weak and scared to be a part of that. I'm the one that has to look over our leader's son. His son doesn't have any common sense so I was left with the job to provide that part for him.

Right now I'm out of the base walking alongside with the leader and his son who is not happy. I know full that he didn't want me around since it "kills" his reputation and all that junk. Anyway, I have a pistol, the leader has an AK forty-seven, and his son has a shotgun. We're not too far from the base but not to close where we have back up to help us so it has me in a panic. The only family that I talk to is my older by a year brother and he has protected me for years and without him near me makes it unnerving. He's the only one I trust and the leader knows that and that's the main reason he has me with his son.

 So that I can trust the next leader but theirs zero trust with his son and I don't think there never will be. I blocked out their conversation about how to kill zombies and looked around the area. It was really sad about what happened to this place but there's nothing that we can do about it now. As they talked I spotted something moving well wobbling I was about to say when the son took a shot out of fun. I turned to see that the zombie was now running toward us and it had a pack. We took shots at them as we were running from them.

Me being a dumbass went to the wrong side and got cornered. I didn't have any bullets left too. I closed my eyes and curled up into a ball and whispered goodbye to my brother before the hoard got me.
