Fang able to use Wild Blast with Slasher and terrified the Death Metal platoon. This is what Bacon expecting because Fang remind him in how Arashi able to use Wild Blast with the King of Zoid, the Wild Liger.

Azas: This is bad!

Zamas: That Zoid is too much for us, zamas!

Sados: Let's go before he death us!

DM Soldiers: Captains! Please wait for us!

The leaders use their Raptors and run away as the soldiers that lose their Zoids just run away. Fang panting because of this is the first time he use Wild Blast, and the power of Spino Slasher is similar to Wild Liger making it hard to control.

Fang: *panting* So this is... a Wild Blast... huh? It make too tired...

Bacon: *look at Fang* Of course. That is what happened to the user of Liger when I met him.

Fang: *panting* You seem doesn't bother about this...

Bacon: I just like you when I use Wild Blast with Tiger for the first time, it make my body tired.

Then the Zoid Key pull out from the inserter as barely Fang caught it in his left hand. The aqua-white flare disappear from their left eye as Slasher lower it's head of tiredness.

Bacon(In mind): Well, this is the first time he's using the Wild Blast. It put strain at both of them, but it was excellent. First a brat, and a kid.

Before they can leave, a wounded Raptor stand up but it just barely able to do so. Slasher saw it walk to it, and Slasher open it's mouth when it get near. Slasher about to eat the Raptor until Fang stop it.

Fang: Slasher, don't eat him! Just let him go!

Then Slasher glance up at Fang who is still panting while his left eye closed. It close back it's mouth as Slasher move away from the Raptor and it run away into the forest.

Bacon(In mind): He listen to the kid... This is interesting!

Then Fang fall unconcious as lay his upper body at Slasher's head. It glance him as it let out a faint growl.

Bacon: That is what happened when you not really used with Wild Blast. Right, Tiger?

Tiger let out a small roar as it begin to walk back to the village with Slasher follow it.

Bacon: It's almost night. At least I still have a place to rest, and about this kid...

He glance at Fang who is sleeping on Slasher's head.

Bacon: *smile* I wanted to see how well you can be with Spino Slasher.

(Time Skip)
(Next Day)

At Mizui Village...

Fang is lying on his bed after the long day and after using the Wild Blast. He began to wake up and rub his eyes as he slowly sit up. Then he yawn as he strecth his arms.

Fang: Where is this...?

He look around and he realized that he's inside his room. Then Fang grab his cap and put it on as he went out of his room while holding his stomach.

Fang: I'm starving...

He went to the kitchen and saw Ron with Bacon. Then Ron ask Fang to join them having breakfast. After eating, Fang and Bacon went out and saw some kids are playing at Tiger and Slasher while their parents are watching them.

Fang: Slasher... got a warm welcome as well?

Bacon: That's what happened when Zoids are not dangerous to them. *look at Fang* I even told about how you beat Death Metal.

Fang: *look at Bacon* You were there as well.

Bacon: I did. But you're the one that defeated most of them by yourself.

Fang: I'm not by myself. Slasher was with me all the time.

Bacon: I expect that you would say that.

Kids: Fang!!

The kids went to Fang as they asking about how he beat the Death Metal.

Kid 1: How is the Death Metal?

Kid 2: Did you beat them all?

Kid 3: You really great if you able to chase Death Metal out of here!

It make him harder to talk when they keep asking him while Bacon can't help but smile. He did saw when some kids asking how Arashi beat Death Metal. After that, Bacon is helping some villagers as he saw Fang with a tool box. He saw Fang is doing a maintenance at Slasher. He is fixing the leg part of it.

Bacon: Hey, kid.

Fang: I'm not a kid, I'm Fang, shaggy-head!

Bacon: Who are you calling shaggy-head?

Fang: Whatever!

Bacon: What are you doing?

Fang: Can't you see? I'm doing some maintenance at Slasher.

Bacon: Can you even do a maintenance on a Zoid? I never saw anyone that can do that in this village.

Fang: My grandpa is a mechanic long time ago. He did teach me some of his tricks and I learn how to maintenance Zoid by my own when I saw a dead one. I look at the it, and learn how to fix a living Zoid.

Bacon: You're really interesting, kid.

Fang: I told you I'm Fang!

Bacon: *walk away* I'm looking forward for you to do some fixing on Tiger.

Fang: He's you Zoid! Do it yourself!

After few more minutes, Fang tighten the parts and take out a spray can. He spray at the lower body slowly until he's done.

Fang: It's done. How do you feel, partner?

Slasher look at him as he smile back at it. Then he put back the tools into the box until he look at Tiger. He did saw some scratch marks at the right front leg. After a while, he went to Tiger as it look at him. Fang put down the box and examine the wound at Tiger as he took out some tools and do the maintenance at it.

Fang: This is a hard wound to heal by itself. This scratch marks is like from a strong Zoid. What kind of Zoid did this to you?

???: The Wild Liger.

Fang: Huh?

While fixing it, Fang stop and turn around and saw Bacon walking toward them. Then he stop and look at the wound is slowly healing when Fang do some work at Tiger.

Bacon: This is the first time I saw someone able to do some fixing on Tiger. You really do a great job in this, you should open a Zoid fixing shop.

Fang: Thanks for the compliment. Also, how did he get this wound? After all, Tiger is one of the fastest and strongest Zoid, right?

Bacon: He is. But that doesn't mean he's invincible.

Fang: When you say Wild Liger... You mean the King of Zoid?

Bacon: That's right.

Fang: What kind of problem did you two did until this happened?

Bacon: It's not a problem. Liger's user wanted to run away in a fight making Liger mad at him. I and Tiger tried to him him but ended getting that scratch.

Fang: I see... *look at Tiger* It must be painful for him...

Bacon: You closer to Zoid than I expected. I never saw someone would be this close to them.

Fang: Actually, I did told this to my family before but they didn't believe me. I was saved by a Zoid back when I was little.

Bacon: What?

Fang: Back then, I went to the forest by my own to pick some herbs that usually found here. And then...

(Flashback)

It shows young Fang is walking around in the woods while holding a basket of herbs.

Fang: So many around here...

When he was about to went home, he look up and saw some more leaf herbs than even better than the one he had.

Fang: I think I should take that one! Mom and dad would love to have one of those!

He put the basket down and went to climb the tree. He slowly went up and crawl on the branch toward the leaves but under him is a fast moving river. He tried to reach it but it's far from him.

Fang: A bit more...! Just a bit more...! I can get it...!

Before he able to grab one leaf, his right leg slipped making him lost his balance and fall into the river.

Fang: Aaaahhh!

He tried to swim up to the surface but the water is moving too fast.

Fang: H-Help me! Anyone! Help... me!

He try to swim harder to get some air but the water is still faster as his vision start to become blurry. As he almost drown, something stop him from moving. He was brought to the land and lying on the ground as he cough water. When he sit up, he look around and saw a Zoid. He felt afraid at first until he look closely at the Zoid. When he look at the Zoid, it look like an aligator.

Fang: A-A Zoid...?

That Zoid is a Gabrigator, a Sarcosuchus type Zoid. Mostly seen around waters because it is like other crocodile and aligator.

Fang: You... saved me...?

Gabrigator growl at him before went back to the river. It turn it's head to look at Fang.

Fang: Thank you! Thank you for saving!

Then Gabrigator went back into the river and swim away. Fang stand up and smile as he know that not all Zoid are dangerous. Some wanted to be with humans.

(Flashback End)

Bacon: So you saved by an aligator like Zoid, huh? I assume that's a Gabrigator.

Fang: That's right. I always went to the river where he saved me before, but he never appear again. I keep searching and waiting for him to come back, but he didn't.

Bacon: It might be Death Metal got him. There's nothing we can do about it.

Fang: But if I found Gabrigator again, I will take him back here. This is his home.

Then he take out the spray can and spray at the healed wound. He take an old cloth and wipe some remainings that unneeded.

Fang: Okay, it's all done.

Bacon: You look new! How do feel now, Tiger?

Tiger roar at him making he know that it is better. Then Bacon ride on it as he look at Fang.

Bacon: Kid, let's get some fresh air.

Fang: You're gonna regret calling me kid again!

He keep away the tool box and went to Slasher. It lower it's head allowing Fang to jump onto it and raise back up.

Bacon: I'll give you a tough crash course.

Fang: I'd like to see you try!

Bacon: Come with me!

Then Tiger start running as Slasher also follow it. They head back to the forest and continue their training when the time Death Metal interfered. Bacon trained Fang on how to become one with Slasher by doing all the basic that Zoids can do. Running, climbing rocks, attack and dodging attacks. At first, Fang and Slasher didn't really become one perfectly.

(Time Skip)
(Night Time)

Bacon and Fang rest while sitting in front of the fireplace while the fire is burning. Slasher and Tiger also resting behind their riders.

Bacon: Zoids come in with variety of types, and their abilities and characteristics depend on their forms. Wild Zoids have strong fighting instincts, and can sometimes dangerous to humans. But if you form a bond with one, you won't find a more dependable companion.

Fang: I know that all. Zoids are partners to many people that have them in their almost daily life.

Bacon: From the time when you make a bond with Slasher, you've become even stronger. But you need to learn how to fight without depending on the Wild Blast.

Fang: Wild Blast, huh? Is the guys from the Death Metal can use that?

Bacon: Heh, if they can they use it long time ago. Instead of Wild Blast, they use a special key to force the Zoid to unleash it's instincts but in the process, putting a lot of strain and pain into the Zoids than the rider themselves, the Death Metal Key. The the ability they use, it's called the Death Blast.

Fang: Forcing Zoid to unleash their instincts without their will and put pain into them... An ability to forced unleash... A Death Blast...?

Bacon: But the only one that can use the Death Blast is Death Metal's Four Heavenly Kings and the Emperor Gallagher himself. But the scientist that corrupted by them trying to mass-produce the keys so the soldiers can use them as well.

Fang: Then it's best to defeat them before they can do that. Why even groups like them ever existed anyway?

Bacon: It's because their emperor is someone that hate to lose. I heard a rumor that he's a good person but wanted to be the strongest and unbeatable making him into an evil person.

Fang: That's kinda harsh. By the way, how did you even know that Slasher has the similar strength with the Wild Liger?

Bacon: You never heard about anything, do you, kid?

Fang: What I didn't hear about? I'm Fang!

Bacon: In the past, most people saw Liger and Slasher travel across the world together. Both of them has been together for such a long time. People that saw them think they're best friends.

Fang: I see. But is that true?

Bacon: Well, you'll have to see for yourself when you meet with Arashi and Liger.

Fang: What kind of person this Arashi is?

Bacon: He's an idiot but he able to make a bond with the King of Zoid. He and Liger doesn't seem to be close at first but they can depend on each other now. But I'm not sure he can keep Liger from throwing him off from his body.

Fang: Pffft. That's hilarious!

Bacon: But Arashi do know how to make a bond with Zoid. "If you say it from your heart, the Zoid will always respond. That is why you need to convince the Zoid with all your might." I wanted to invite him into my team, but Arashi decided to create his own team.

Fang: I don't think those words are from him.

Bacon: That's right. When met Tiger, I think I met with Arashi's father who is a Zoid Hunter I met long time ago. He's the one that taught me those words.

Fang: That's sounds great... Having someone that close to Zoid...

Bacon: Come to think of it, why did your parents take out siblings and run away from here?

Fang: I told you before, they afraid of Zoids.

Bacon: But what makes them afraid of Zoids?

Fang: *sigh* Three years ago, when back from the other village, we actually attacked by a wild Zoid. I know it's just moving by it's instinct but my parents really afraid of them. There's nothing I can do about it.

Bacon: So you live with your grandfather even thought your parents wanted to bring you along? You're tougher than I expected.

Fang: Hey, Bacon. Is there something great out there until you make a team?

Bacon: Yeah. It was called the Great Ancient Treasure Z!

Fang: The Great Ancient Treasure Z?

Bacon: They say whoever find the Great Ancient Treasure Z can get hold everything in the world.

Fang: That's cool! Why did you trying to find it?

Bacon: Just finding such a great treasure is already exciting enough, right?

Fang: I see. Hey, it's too early to get to bed now, right?

Bacon: *smirk* Look, kid. From now on, it's grownup time, okay? Can you even handle it?

Fang: *smirk* Who said that I can't handle these kind of stuff?

Despite in the night, Fang and Slasher able to move through the area while Bacon and Tiger guide them. They train until almost long in the morning but still dark.

(Next Day)

Bacon and Fang ride their respective Zoids. Tiger and Slasher growl at each other as some of the villagers including Ron are watching them.

Bacon: Kid! You might not near anywhere closer to me and Tiger's level, but let's test your skills!

Fang: I'm not a kid, I'm Fang! Alright. I'm looking forward to this!

Spino enter it's fighting stance.

Bacon: Bring it!

Fang: Let's go, Slasher!

Slasher roar as it dash toward Tiger. It tries to slash Tiger but it jump away and dodge the attack. Tiger roar as it dash toward Slasher and land a ram but Slasher dodge it. They jumped and attack. Slasher lash Tiger with it's tail, Tiger slash Slasher with it's claws and then they headbutt each other. Both of them land skidding on the ground, and stopped. They look at each other and let out a roar. Before they can continue, they sense something.

Fang: Hey, Bacon.

Bacon: Yeah, there's something coming.

They went near the cliff part where they spotted something a group of red Raptors. It's clearly the Death Metal has come back again.

Ron: They're back again?

Bacon: Hurry, get everyone back to the village!

Ron: *running to the village* Got it!

Bacon: What will you do, kid.

Fang: I'm not a kid, I'm Fang. Also, it's already obvious, shaggy-head.

Bacon: Who are you calling shaggy-head?

As the Death Metal appear at the open field, Fang and Bacon already waiting for them. It shows that Azas, Zamas and Sados has come back with even more Raptors and soldiers.

Azas: Azas! Now we have given a second chance, we'll take that Zoid from you!

Zamas: Now little boy, this is the best time for you surrender Slasher-chan to us, zamas.

Sados: Just give to us or we'll death you all!

Fang: I don't care what you're saying! Just go home and work at circus or something!

Azas: Again with how we clothing?!

Zamas: We're gonna make you pay for those insult, zamas!

Sados: We'll death you at once!

Then the Raptors dash toward them as Tiger and Slasher enter their fighting stance.

Bacon: Here they come!

Fang: Let's crush them all!

Slasher and Tiger roar loudly as they rush toward Death Metal's Raptors. They ram and slash them as the soldiers fall down from their Zoids and the Raptors went unconcious.

Azas: They're stronger than we expected! Then let's deal with him ourselves!

Zamas/Sados: Say your prayers!

Their Raptors rush toward Slasher. Azas in the middle while Zamas and Sados at the sides. Fang look around to see from where they'll attack.

Fang: Left? Right? Or middle? From where?!

Azas/Zamas/Sados: Got you!!

They attack him and Slasher from each sides making Slasher back away as it growl in pain.

Fang: Gaaaaaaaah!

Slasher stand up as Fang close his left eye.

Bacon: What are you doing, kid?!

Fang: Bacon?

Bacon: Didn't I told you that Slasher is your partner? Then become one with him and do the ultimate bond!

Fang: Thst's right... Slasher is part of me... We are one...

Azas: This is the end!

Zamas/Sados: Say your prayers!

Fang: There's no way I'll lose...!

Slasher roar loudly making the Raptors stop and make the riders startled.

Azas: Wh-What?!

Zamas: With one roar, zamas?!

Sados: This one is no different than the Wild Liger!!

Fang: *take out his Zoid Key* We're going to rip you apart this time!

Aqua-white flare appear their left eye.

Fang: Blaze on! Slasher!

The flare went to the strand of his hair at his cap as he enter his stance.

Fang: With my soul!

The Zoid Key covered with aqua-white flare.

Fang: Unleash your instincts!

He insert the Zoid Key into the inserter.

Fang: Wild Blast!

Slasher roar as it enter it's stance. It claws become longer like blades, and some small blades come out from the spikes on it's back as it roar loudly.

Instincts Unleashed!

Azas/Zamas/Sados: This looks so bad!!

Fang: Slash all of them!

Slasher run toward the captains.

Fang: Slashing Attack!

Slasher slash all three of the Raptors and send the captains into the air.

Azas: It's so bad idea!

Zamas: I hope we never ask for a second chance!

Sados: We're so death!!

They running away from the area while Slasher roar at them. Bacon saw that Fang has grown a lot better than before.

(Time Skip)

It's in the evening. Bacon stood in front of the river, looking at the sunset. Then he shove his hand out of the pocket and open his palm, showing a Team Supreme badge.

???: You leaving already?

Then Bacon close back his palm as he turn around and look at Fang.

Bacon: Yeah. Now, you're strong enough to fight against those Death Metal guys if they come back again. Your match with us will be have to wait for another time.

Fang: It seems like it. This is one of the most fun time in my life.

Bacon: Hey--

Fang: I've made my mind. I'm going to make a team, too!

Bacon: A team?

Fang: Yeah! I'm going to make a team that awesome as Team Supreme, despite not knowing them yet. And then, I'm going to travel with them!

Bacon: *smiles* I see.

Then he put away the badge into his pocket.

Bacon: You're right. As a true Zoid Hunter, you should forge your own journey's path.

Fang: Just like you, I'm going to search for the Great Ancient Treasure Z.

Bacon: So what you gonna do when you found it?

Fang: Just like you said, finding it already exciting. I didn't think about what I'm gonna do with it.

Bacon: I thought so.

Then he ride on Tiger as he look down at Fang.

Bacon: See ya, Fang!

Fang: You finally call my name. Yeah, see you too, Bacon!

Bacon: Let's meet again! Somewhere in the wide world!

Then Tiger start running toward where they are heading. Fang look from distance as Slasher went next to him.

Fang: Hey, Slasher. You wanted to meet Liger again, didn't you?

Slasher glance down at him.

Fang: I knew it. When we start travelling, we'll meet him, and Arashi.

He and Slasher keep looking at Bacon and Tiger until they out of their sight.

(Next Day)

Fang picking some of his stuff and then went outside. He ride on Slasher as he look down at Ron with some villagers.

Ron: Are sure that you wanted to be a Zoid Hunter?

Fang: That's right. This is what I wanted from the start.

Ron: Then make sure you well. Send letters, okay?

Fang: Of course.

Kid 1: Fang, what will do you when you meet with Death Metal again?

Fang: I just have to smash them. Right, Slasher?

Slasher growl as it glance at him.

Fang: Well then, see you all later!

Ron: Take care of yourself!

Fang: I know! Let's go, Slasher!

Slasher roar as it start running toward the wide world, making their first step of journey.
