One Week and a Half ago...

Inside the forest, it shows the night is calm. Until a huge figure suddenly shown walking around in the forest, breaking some trees and rocks while walking. The figure is clearly a huge Zoid, a predator dinosaur type that stand up on two legs. It keep walking while ignore the surroundings.

(Present)

In the nearby area from before, a teenage boy is walking around the forest while looking around.

His name is Fang. He's hair is light blue while wearing a white cap with blue lines and some hair out front his cap. He's wearing blue-green hoodie, brown long pants and red shoes. Just like few people, he like Zoids. Also, he has sharp teeth similar to Drake.

(A/N: If you don't know, Drake is one of Death Metal's Four Heavenly Kings)

Fang: Geez, there's nothing around here has been fun. I wonder where everything went in this past few weeks.

Before he can walk even further, a Zoid come out from the bush and attack him but he able to dodge. He fall on the ground and able to confirm what kind of Zoid it is. It's a Raptor, Velociraptor type Zoid. Since it's from the forest, they usually found in green color.

Fang: A Raptor?!

The Raptor growl at him but unfazed by it until he stand up. He didn't run away even the Raptor trying to intimidate him.

Fang: Heh, you think just like growl and roar can make me rum away? I met with someone bigger than you!

Instead of running, the Raptor also stand there. Until a huge roar are heard, making Raptor turn and run away. From inside the forest, it shows a Zoid with someone riding on it. It shows the Zoid is the Fang Tiger, Sabre-Toothed type Zoid.

???: I suprised to see someone able to hold their ground against a Zoid. It's rare to see that.

Fang: Who are you?

???: Me?

Then he jump down from the Zoid. The man has shaggy afro style hair with headband that has a badge at it, blue and white coat like jacket, white pants and red-white shoes.

???: Are you okay, kid?

Fang: I'm not a kid, my name is Fang!

???: Fang? Heh, it's sounds like my partner here, the Fang Tiger.

Fang: The Fang Tiger? Your partner Zoid, huh?

Bacon: Also, my name is Bacon.

Fang: Bacon?

Bacon: That's right. Bacon, the leader of Team Supreme.

Fang: If you have a team, where are they?

Bacon: Do expect my team to be always together? We travel in our own path, but still connected to each other.

Fang: I see.

Bacon: Also...

Growl~!

Bacon: I'm pretty hungry right now...! I didn't eat last night...!

Fang: Huh?!

(Time Skip)

At Mizui Village...

Because of that, Fang take Bacon to the village where he live. It is called Mizui Village because there's rivers, a huge lake and a waterfall near the village. Fang take Bacon to his house and serve some foods.

Bacon: Thanks a lot! I thought I'm gonna die back there!

Fang: *annoyed* You welcome...

Bacon: This village is peaceful. I never expect that Death Metal didn't reach this place, it's hidden well from them.

Fang: Also there's rivers around. It's hard for their Zoids to move around at the area like this. Your Zoid is a different story.

Bacon: Do you live here alone?

Fang: Yes.

Bacon: Where's your parents? Do you have any siblings?

Fang: I did. They just not here.

Bacon: What do you mean?

Fang: I live with my grandfather here. He's did saw you before but he said he's busy in dealing with some stuff in our village.

Bacon: So, where are your parents?

Fang: They left, along with my sisters. I have an older sister and a little sister. They live at a village very far from here.

Bacon: Why did they even leave? This place is so peaceful after all.

Fang: Actually, there are several Zoids like Raptor, Kuwaga and Kabtor around here. Even if their not that dangerous, but most people afraid of them. Those who still stay here didn't really afraid Zoid because they respect them.

Bacon: I see. Afraid but respect them, that's quite unusual. So, how about you? Why didn't you leave with them?

Fang: Because I... wanted to be a Zoid Hunter.

Bacon: You wanted to be a Zoid Hunter?

Fang: I want to see the wide world as well. Along with my own Zoid.

Bacon: You have a big dream there. I did saw lots of new stuff in my travel. Some are bad, but most of them are good. Right, where's Tiger?

Fang: He's outside.

After that, they went outside. Some of the villagers went to Tiger but it just let them having fun with it. Bacon glad to see that they still able to accept Bacon and the Fang Tiger here.

Fang: Having some Zoids here is almost a common thing.

Bacon: It's good to see that the Tiger get a warm welcome. You said that they respect Zoid, it seems they like him.

Fang: It's because they never saw a Zoid like him. New stuff always makes many people excited.

???: Oh, it's look the guest finally have his belly full.

Then they saw an old man walking toward them. This is Fang's grandfather, Ron. He come with some villagers as well.

Ron: It seems that my grandson have treat you well, visitor. I'm this village's elder, the name is Ron.

Bacon: Well, not really expecting  a warm welcome. I'm Bacon.

Ron: It's nice to see other adventurers around here. The terrain here and even the rivers making many people outside the village hard to get in.

Bacon: It's good, right? It seesm that Death Metal hasn't reach here yet.

Ron: We're hope so.

Then Fang Tiger saw Bacon and walk slowly toward him, making sure it don't stepped on anything. As it stop in front of him, Bacon tap Tiger's saber teeth.

Bacon: I'm glad, you got a warm welcome around here. Actually, mister, did you spot something unusual around here in this week?

Ron: Unusual, huh? Everything seems find to me. Why is that?

Bacon: When I was travelling around here, I heard a rumor that a rare Zoid is around this area, so I decided to search for it. My teammates are far away from here so I wanted to find it myself.

Ron: Zoid? The Zoids we have here is only the one that commonly seen all around the place. What kind of Zoid is the one you searching for?

Bacon: An extremely rare dinosaur type Zoid. It escaped from Death Metal a week and a half ago and might end up here. Despite the huge size of it, it can move really fast. The Spino Slasher, a Spinosaurus type.

Villager 1: Death Metal? The Death Metal Empire?

Villager 2: Those deadly emperor and his mens?

Ron: Why are they are searching for that Zoid?

Bacon: Like I said, despite of it's size it can move fast. Both on land and in water. But it's not easy, after it was captured by Death Metal it escaped along with another rare Zoid, the Wild Liger. Sadly for them, the Liger already has it's owner. Right now, I'm searching Spino Slasher that was said around this area, and keep it away from Death Metal.

Ron: If you said it fast at both land and water, there's lots of rivers around. There's many place for it can hide and remain undetected, you can search for it if you wanted.

Bacon: Really? Thank you.

Ron: Zoids has been almost part of our life here. We respect them.

Then Ron and the villagers left. Before Bacon went to the Tiger, he saw Fang close it while touching Tiger's front right leg.

Bacon: You seem not to fear Zoids at all.

Fang: If I'm afraid of Zoid, I will never become a Zoid Hunter.

Bacon: You got guts, kid. You remind of someone back before I came here. He's more to a brat than you.

Fang: "Brat"?

Bacon: Kid, do you want to ride on Tiger?

Fang: Really? Of course!

Bacon: Tiger, would you let him?

Tiger growl as it lower it's body, allowing Fang to get on it. Then the Tiger stand back up while Fang amazed as it just act normally around the people it don't really recognized.

Fang: Wow! I never expect that Zoid would let me ride on top of it!

Bacon: What makes you say that?

Fang: Zoids aren't vehicles. They are living things, and they have the rights to choose.

Bacon(In mind): *smiles* I never expect to see someone this knowledge about Zoids. This is suprising to see.

Fang: Hey, shaggy-head.

Bacon: Who are you calling shaggy-head?

Fang: You said that the Zoid you're looking for is a dinosaur type, right?

Bacon: Yeah.

Fang: Is the Zoid like around water?

Bacon: That's right. Why did you ask?

Fang look at Tiger as he think. Then he jump down from Tiger and look at Bacon.

Fang: Come with me.

Bacon: Huh?

Fang: Just come already.

Bacon: Fine, fine.

Then Bacon and the Fang Tiger follow Fang toward the place that he ask them to follow. After few minutes walking, they arrived near a huge waterfall with a lake.

Fang: We're here.

Bacon: What? You just showing me some beautiful place, that's all?

Fang: That's not what I'm showing you two.

Suddenly, Tiger felt something is around. Then it growl while looking at the lake. Bacon turn to Tiger with confuse look.

Bacon: What's wrong, Tiger?

Fang: He might don't like "him."

Bacon: "Him"?

Fang whistle like he's calling something. After a moment, the water in front of them slowly begin to rise up. Even Bacon suprise by this situation until a Zoid come out completely from water. It shake off the waters on it's body and let out a roar. The color is light blue-green with green eyes. That Zoid is the Spino Slasher, the Spinosaurus Type.

Bacon: Th-This is...!

Fang: The one you searching for, the Spino Slasher.

Tiger growl at Spino Slasher as it come out from the water and stand on the land. It went to Fang and growl at him, as he rub the snout of it.

Bacon: Hey, kid. Why Spinoslasher seems fine with you?

Fang: I found him three days ago, walking around the area. He seems trying to intimidate me, but there's no way this Zoid can do that. Despite of it's size, I will make it tamed with me.

Bacon(In mind): I never expect that the rare dinosaur type Zoid would be fine with him. So this kid is...

Fang: So you're name is Spino Slasher, huh? That's a cool name for a big guy like you.

Bacon: It's look like I found another idiot.

Fang: Who you're calling idiot?!

Bacon: Actually, the one that become the partner of the great Wild Liger is just almost like you. Get close to the Zoid and end up become the partner of him.

Fang: Wild Liger?

Bacon: The rarely seen, legendary lion type. The Wild Liger, the King of Zoids. Someone almost like him get a such a great partner. Why didn't you bring him back to the village?

Fang: I wanted but I'm not sure if they accept him. Just like you said, Spino was hunted by Death Metal to become a weapon. I don't want him end up being hated by everyone.

Bacon: You're naive.

Fang: Huh?

Bacon: You know, Liger's partner is idiot but he's not a coward. Despite knowing that he might hunted by Death Metal, he still wanted to become a Zoid Hunter and travel around the world. I'm sure you will do the same as he does, after all, he even wanted to create his own team.

Fang: That sounds cool...

Bacon: Then let's go back and show him to them. I'm sure that they will never hate him.

Fang: *look at Slasger* So?

Spino Slasher just growl at him.

Fang: I guess that means yes.

(Time Skip)

After another few minutes walk, they arrived back at the village. The villagers are suprised and amazed to see a Zoid this big in their village and even more suprised when Fang able to ride it without it trying to get him off of it's head.

Ron: S-So this is... the Spino Slasher?!

Bacon: That's right. I does make me suprise to see that your grandson end up found him and hide him away.

Fang: Sorry, grandpa.

Ron: It's okay. I understand how much Zoid means to you. If able to partner up with him, then it will be fine.

Fang: Really?

Ron: Of course.

Fang: Thank you, grandpa!

Bacon: Hey, kid.

Fang: I'm not a kid, I'm Fang!

Bacon: If you really wanted to be a real Zoid Hunter, I'll give you a crash course. But I'm not soft when in this kind of stuff.

Fang: A crash course? You mean like a training?

Bacon: Yeah. I'll be borrowing your grandson for a while, but I'm not sure if he can handle it.

Fang: I can handle it!

Bacon: Fine then, follow us.

Then Tiger start running as Spino Slasher also follow them. Fang only able to ride perfectly on Spino as it move slowly but he's not really good when it's running. Fang Tiger able to run with normal speed while Spino Slasher having some problem. Because of it's size, its harder to move when inside the forest.

Fang: It's really hard to move around here!

Bacon: Just bear it! Zoids has their own area the wanted to move in!

Fang: There's no way Slasher can move in this thick area! Because of the water around, many trees can grow anywhere!

After the few minutes running, they stopped at an open area.

Bacon: Don't use that as an excuse! Listen Slasher has the closest power with the Liger, which means he have tons power. Despite of the size, he can move fast, and Zoids can fight in both narrow and wide areas. If you create a bond with Slasher, you can unleash his hidden power!

Fang: Slasher's hidden power?

Bacon: That's right. The brat that partner up with Wild Liger able to use Liger's hidden power. If you able to make the bond, I'm sure that Spino will respone to your heart.

Fang: My... heart?

He put his right hand at his heart. Then he look down at Spino Slasher as it glance up to him. He look back at Bacon and Fang Tiger.

Fang: So, what kind of crash course will you give me?

Bacon: A hard time for you.

Before they can even started, Tiger and Spino sense something making them look at the right.

Fang: What's wrong, Slasher?

Bacon: There's something coming.

Fang: What?

They went to the cliff area and look down, and they saw some Raptors but they colored red.

Fang: Raptors?

Bacon: That's not wild Raptors. It's look like Death Metal has come here.

Fang: Them?

Bacon: We need to keep them away from the village. You only have three days experience with him. *smirk* Are you sure you can handle it?

Fang: *smirk* I thought your never asked.

As the Death Metal is shown in the open area, the Raptors stop as they saw Tiger and Slasher. Fang saw the Death Metal for the first time but they almost look annoying to him.

Fang(In mind): *sweatdrop* These are the Death Metal? Shouldn't they work at circus or something?

Azas: Nice to see that we don't need to wait for the Zoids to come out. I'm Azas! Followed by the two former platoon leaders, Sados and Zamas!

Zamas: That's true, zamas.

Sados: You'll give us that Zoid! Or we'll death you!

Fang: Hey, aren't you guys supposed to work at circus or something? Because your weird clown like outfit are way to obvious.

Azas: You bastard! How dare you complain about how we're wearing?!

Zamas: We won't forgive anyone who dare to say anything bad about this outfit! This outfit is reccomended by Gallagher-sama himself!

Sados: That's right, that's right! We'll death you!

Fang: I don't care about being like this. I was born like this.

Bacon: Kid, I'll handle the other Raptors. You're take the leader.

Fang: Fine, also I'm not a kid. I'm Fang! And this is my partner, Spino Slasher!

Slasher roar loudly as it dash toward the Death Metal team. It lash it's tail and hit two Raptor. Three more went to attack it but Tiger jump toward them and slash them with it's claws. Then Slasher grab a Raptor with it's right hand and throw it back at the Death Metal. Tiger also bite one Raptor and throw it back at the others.

Azas: Don't think we're afraid just because your Zoid is far bigger!

Fang: Then try to get me! I will never run and let you take Slasher! He's partner!

Before they can continue, green light appear in front of Fang. He look at Slasher's head and something is appearing. Then an item come out and land in Fang's right hand. It's like fang like dagger, colored green-blue, a blue circle between the blade and the holder.

Fang: This is...

Bacon: That's a Zoid Key!

Fang: *turn to Bacon* Zoid Key?

Bacon: When a human and a Zoid make the ultimate bond, it can unleash the hidden ability of the Zoid. Now show me, your instincts!

Fang: *facing Death Metal* Fine then! I'll slice everything into dice!

Azas/Zamas/Sados: This is very bad!!

Fang: Blaze on! Slasher!

Light aqua-white flare appear at his and Slasher's left eye. Then some flare went to the strand of his hair that out from the cap.

Fang: With my soul!

He enter the stance and the Zoid Key cover with the flare. The key inserter come out in front of him.

Fang: Unleash your instincts!

He insert the Zoid Key into the inserter.

Fang: Wild Blast!

Slasher roar as it enter the Wild Blast stance. It's claws become longer like blades as small blades appear the spike on it's back. It complete and enter the fighting stance.

Instincts Unleashed!

Bacon(In mind): This sure is remind me of Arashi and Liger! Fang and Slasher is good partners!

Fang: Let's go, Spino Slasher!

Slasher roar as it dash ahead.

Azas: A-A-A-Attack him! And capture that Zoid!

The soldiers rush forward with their Raptors toward Fang and Slasher. But that is a bad idea trying to attack them head on just like when they trying to fight with Arashi and Wild Liger.

Fang: Slash all of them!

Slasher roar loudly as it rush forward and it's blade claws shine in green light.

Fang: Slashing Attack!

Slasher raise up it's hands and slash the Raptors, leaving slash marks and shut down the Raptors and the soldiers fall down on the ground as they running away from Fang and Slasher.

Azas: Wh-What...?!

Zamas: Eeek! Too strong, zamas!

Sados: We're just gonna get deathed instead!

Then Fang and Slasher glare the rest of the Death Metal and the soldiers, making them felt fear.

Fang: Let's go, partner!

Slasher roar loudly.

"Zoid today is... the Spino Slasher! Slasher is a rare Spinosaurus type. It mostly around water because it likes water and the cold areas around it. It might be big, but it can move fast both on land and in water!"
