Taurus smiled as the warm sun reached out and touched her face. Cancer was pushing her around on the sidewalk so that she'd get some fresh air.

"Is it hard not being able to use your legs?"

Taurus thought before answering. "I can't feel my legs at all. It's weird. If I try to move my legs, nothing happens. I'm still getting used to pushing myself around and having to use my arms so much. I'm glad wheelchairs exist. I wouldn't be able to move around otherwise."

"You might get your legs back though... right?"

"I don't know." Taurus but her lip. "You'd still love me if I didn't... right?"

"Ahahahaha. See, I'm laughing because that was a funny joke. Of course you couldn't actually be asking me if I would still love you even if you don't get your legs back, right? Because it's super obvious that not having working legs would be a stupid reason for anything to change."

"Just making sure. You could have just said yes."

Cancer chuckled. "Let's do a wheelie."

"Yeah, let's NOT."

"I won't try it because I don't know if I'm strong enough to tip you and the wheelchair back without dropping you."

"Capricorn, Gemini, and Scorpio give me enough wheelies as it is. Aquarius sometimes tips my chair back making me think I'm going to fall before he catches me."

"I can tell them to stop if you don't want them to do that."

"If it was that much of a problem I would have already got them to stop. I like pretending to get mad and chasing them. Especially since I'm faster in the wheelchair than most of them are on foot."

"It is pretty funny seeing them trying to outrun you and then panicking when they realize they can't anymore."

Taurus leaned her head back. "You should bring me to the smoothie shop and buy me a smoothie."

Cancer leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Should I?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Because I'm sad that I can't walk anymore. A smoothie will cheer me up."

"You're smiling."

"I smile through the pain."

Cancer laughed. "Taurus, I'll buy you whatever you want."

"In that case I'll have a private jet, a collection of diamond earrings, a unicorn, and my own private mansion."

"You can have whatever you want within reason."

"I'll just have a strawberry kiwi smoothie."

"Only if you give me a kiss first."

Taurus smiled. "Come here, then."

Libra was reading a book in the living room. It was nice and quiet. Libra felt very at peace with the early Saturday morning sun shining on her. She finally had a chance to spend time by herself and have some alone time... or so Libra thought.

"HAD TO HAVE HIGH, HIGH HOPES FOR A LIVING!" Team GemSag ran into the living room screaming the lyrics to their favourite song in their ninja costumes, with their fake moustaches.

Libra glared at both of them. "Go bother Virgo. He misses you annoying losers."

Gem stopped. "If were losers, you're one too because you live and hang out with losers."

Sagittarius grabbed Libra's book. "What's this?"

"Hey!" Libra reached for her book. "Don't take my book!"

"Stephen King. What a title!"

"That's the author."

Gem laughed at Sagittarius. "You suck."

Suddenly an air current blew the book out of Sagittarius' hands, towards Libra.

Libra grabbed her book. "Why don't you two grab books from the library floor, and we'll do a little book circle."

Gem looked away. "Cancer's calling me. Coming!"

"Cancer took Taurus out for a walk around the block. That rhymed."

"COMING!" Gem sprinted away.

"I guess I'd better go too." Sagittarius followed Gem.

Libra grinned. And that's how you get them to leave you alone. She opened her book and continued reading.

"If only it were that easy!" Gem reappeared blasting a confetti gun.

Sagittarius followed with her own confetti gun. "ENJOYING YOUR BOOK LIBRA?"

Libra calmly put her book down, and made a strong breeze push them both to the ground.

"She's rude." Gem shot confetti directly at Libra. "The confetti will make you a better person"

Sagittarius nodded. "Then confetti doesn't judge."

"The confetti will rebirth you as a better person."

"You just have to believe in the confetti."

Libra blinked. "Am I getting reborn with confetti?"

"Yes," nodded Sagittarius. "Now repeat after me. All hail the mighty confetti!"

Gem and Sagittarius bowed. "All hail the mighty confetti."

Libra watched them.

Gem looked at Libra. "You have to say it. All hail the mighty confetti."

Libra continued to watch them.

Sagittarius sighed. "You won't get reborn if you don't say it."

Libra bowed. "All hail the mighty confetti."

Gem gasped. "The confetti vanquished your sins and rude behaviour. As of now, you're a child of the mighty confetti and you will live your life as a peaceful person who doesn't use powers against her superiors."

"How are you guys my superiors?"

Sagittarius pointed at Libra dramatically. "You dare question us?"

Libra sighed. "Where the hell did you two even come from? Cepheus was drunk when he designed your personalities."

"Now let's enjoy some Stephen King with Libra." Gem picked up the book. "Who is the person on the cover?"

Libra knew this was going to be a long day.

Scorpio, Pisces, Aries, and Leo were in Scorpio's secret lair. They sat at the coffee table and planned a prank for the others.

"We'll start by watching horror movies," suggested Scorpio. "Then we'll prank them."

Pisces nodded. "We'll get someone to turn off the lights, then we'll disappear one by one, then we'll haul the others away one at a time."

Leo made creepy noises play from her phone. "We'll play this through the speakers."

"Kitty!" Aries picked Cheeto up and held her in her arms.

Pisces grinned. "Everyone is taking a break from training today. That means they shouldn't be too busy later on tonight."

"Should we let Sagittarius and Gemini in on the plan?" asked Aries.

Leo shrugged. "I kind of want to scare them too."

"And if they find out, let them join in," said Scorpio.

Leo froze. "But what if something happens? The curse hasn't hit anyone in a long time."

Everyone considered this.

"But what could happen?" asked Pisces.

"It's not like a monster will pop out of the screen as part of someone's curse... right?" asked Aries.

Scorpio shook her head. "I think it has to affect you directly. Something like that would affect everyone."

"There's nothing that really can happen," thought Pisces out loud. "Unless someone gets a phobia of something from the movie. But if that happens, it means it would have happened sooner or later anyway."

Leo nodded. "You can't avoid these curses. If it doesn't happen now, it will happen the same way, just at a different time."

Scorpio smiled, trying to reassure the others. "Then we have nothing to worry about. Make sure to wear your socks that don't make noise when you walk, so that it's easier to sneak away. When we kidnap someone, two people carry their arms and legs, the other cover their mouth."

Aries chuckled. "It sounds like we're going to like kidnap our friends and lock them up or something."

"That would make a good story," said Leo. "All the constellations getting kidnaped and locked up or something."

Pisces sighed. "What are you talking about?  Nobody would read a story about us. I think we'd make really weird story characters."

Scorpio hit her fist on the table. "Then it's settled. Meet me in the kitchen before the movies start."

Aquarius and Gemini were relaxing in the library.

Aquarius sat on the ledge in front of a giant window. "I don't know what to do."

Gemini sat across from him in a chair. "What's bothering you?"

A deep red blush spread across Aquarius' face. "I want to tell Leo how I feel, but I'm not sure if I should."

"Why?"

Aquarius shrugged. "I just... really like her. She's so pretty and funny. She's clever, sly, out of her mind. I'd really like to take her on dates and hold her, you know? I don't mind asking her because if she says no, then it's not meant to be. Her rejection wouldn't crush me, but I really hope she doesn't reject me."

"Then why can't you go ask her?"

"I'm afraid it might make things weird. I'm best friends with Sagittarius, but she's also friends with Leo. Also, I don't know if she's interested in me. She's very friendly when she talks to me and she definitely likes being around me. I don't know if she really likes me though."

"You won't know if you don't try."

"I guess, but how do I ask her?"

"Knowing Leo, I think she'd expect something romantic."

"Really?"

"Nothing big, but something more than just confessing your feelings. Like plan a romantic evening."

"I'll keep thinking of ideas."

"I think there's a good chance she'll like you back."

"I don't know about that."

"Unless she likes someone else, but if nobody else if after her, I wouldn't worry too much."

Aquarius but his lip. "But there is someone else."

Gemini blinked in surprise. "Someone else?"

"You remember when someone changed everyone's contact names in our phones? And someone changed Leo's contact name to crush or something?"

"And everyone started trying to guess who it was? Yeah."

"I wasn't the one that changed those names."

"Who did then?"

"I don't know. That means that someone else likes her though."

Gemini tried to process this. "The only other possibility is Pisces but I highly doubt he likes her. Maybe Aries or Sagittarius did it as a joke or something."

"You're right."

"So now we're going to think of a way for you to ask her out."

Virgo and Capricorn were in the comfort room. Right now, they were surrounded by the grassy hills of Capra.

"Do you think we'll beat the alternates?" asked Capricorn.

Virgo sighed. "I have no idea. I don't think there will be a clear winning side like all the originals win and the alternates lose or vice versa. If we're going to be facing off like that, there should be a mixture of originals and alternates who win.

"Yeah. Leon seems fairly gentle. I don't think he's weak, but Leo's strong so she probably can beat him. I have no idea what my alternate is like, except the fact that she's a girl since the alternates are opposite genders from us. But Pisces will have to go against Pie, and someone will have to go against one that put a huge curse on us."

"I wonder what the alternate Scorpio is like. Do you think he's like Scorpio?"

"No idea. I want to know what the alternate me is like. And the alternate you. Maybe the alternate Virgo is a big loser like you are."

Virgo lightly smacked Capricorn on the arm. "And maybe your alternate is as annoying as you are."

"They don't seem identical in personality. Leon and Leo are different. Aquari and Aquarius are very similar, but still different. Pie and Pisces are different. I think that's all the alternates we know so far."

"As long as we find out those big weaknesses they have, we should be fine."

"But how will we do that?"

"We'll get Scorpio and Gemini to observe them and detect unusual patterns in their behaviour."

"I wonder if by weakness it means they have something they're not good at. Like maybe one is a slow runner while another isn't very smart."

"I don't think that's serious enough. Those weaknesses have to be something big for someone to put a curse on us over it."

"Whatever it is, we will find their weaknesses and use it against them."

"Try not to get killed while you're at it. Some of them might kill you if you find out their weaknesses."

"I'll share information like that secretly."

Virgo checked his phone. "The others want us to go downstairs and pick out a movie to watch later."

It was now night time. The zodiacs all sat in the living room and watched a horror movie. The lights were off, and the wind outside made enough noise to spook some of the zodiacs who get scared easily.

"Can someone turn on the lights?" asked Cancer. "Now that the movie is over, let's all go do something else."

Virgo turned the lights back on. "What do you guys want to do now?"

"Let's tell ghost stories," suggested Aries.

"Once upon a time there was a ghost." Pisces poked Aquarius. "Boo. The end."

Aquarius furrowed his brow.

"Wait, what's that noise?" asked Leo who connected her phone to the speakers. Creepy noises played.

"I'm getting scared," whispered Scorpio.

"Scorpio getting scared?" Libra chuckled. "She's trying to scare us."

"But where are those noises coming from?" asked Gem who figured out what was going on.

Sagittarius grabbed Aquarius' shoulders and screamed. He remained unbothered. Capricorn, however, jumped.

Taurus pointed at Capricorn and smirked. "I guess we all know Capricorn is scared."

Capricorn crossed his arms. "I am not."

Gemini put an arm around Capricorn. "It's okay. You'll be the first person we sacrifice to the ghosts."

Capricorn rolled his eyes.

Nobody noticed Pisces sneak off. He turned off the lights and quietly snuck into the kitchen.

"GET THE LIGHTS!" screamed Cancer.

When Libra turned the lights back on, they noticed Pisces was gone.

"Pisces?" asked Virgo. "If you're hiding to scare us, it won't work."

Taurus wheeled over to the closet and opened the door. "He's not hiding in the closet."

Sagittarius figured out the plan. "Guys, what if he was actually kidnapped by ghosts?"

Gemini shook his head. "I don't believe in ghosts."

Capricorn wrapped his arms around Gemini out of fear. "DON'T SAY THAT! YOU'LL SUMMON THEM!"

"Scaredy cat one and scaredy cat two." Aquarius pointed to Cancer and Capricorn.

"Woof." Handsome got off the carpet from where he was previously taking a nap, and jumped on the couch, beside Virgo.

Cancer reached over to pet the dog. "Let's stay calm-"

He screeched as the lights turned off. Libra sighed and turned them back on. Gem, Sagittarius, and Leo were gone.

"This isn't funny." Gemini looked at everyone. "Where are they hiding?"

Libra stayed next to the light switch. "Nobody will turn the lights back off now."

"Bitch you thought." The lights turned off.

"Wait who's voice was that?" asked Capricorn.

"It sounded like that google translate voice," replied Virgo.

Aquarius sighed. "Scorpio has a tablet that can control the lights and stuff in the house."

The lights turned off, then back on. Aries disappeared.

"We know this is a prank." Cancer sighed. "You guys tried."

The lights turned off. They stayed off, even after Libra flicked the switch.

Libra flicked the switch continuously. "The lights won't turn back on."

Creepy noises played over the speakers again.

Capricorn dived under the coffee table. "GHOSTS!"

Gemini rubbed his temples. "There's no ghosts!"

Suddenly everyone heard a ghost noise.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" screamed Cancer.

"Is it ghosts?" asked Capricorn.

Aquarius sighed. "It's Virgo. I'm sitting right beside him."

Taurus frowned. "Don't scare the weak minded."

"What?" asked Cancer.

"I said I love you."

Cancer scrunched his nose. "What did she actually say?"

Taurus shrugged.

"Can someone turn the lights back on?" pleaded Capricorn.

Taurus wheeled her chair around. "I'm the only one that can't run. The ghosts will get me before they get you."

Giving up on the prank, Pisces walked into the living room wearing a white bed sheet with eye holes cut out. The lights suddenly came on, and everyone came out of the kitchen.

"That was a bad prank," chuckled Aquarius.

Scorpio shrugged. "I thought it would have worked."

Gem pointed to Cancer and Capricorn. "It worked on some people."

Sagittarius yawned. "For anyone actually interested in telling ghost stories, go to my room!"

Aries, Gem, Leo, Scorpio and Sagittarius ran towards the elevator. Pisces stayed back to help Taurus get on the elevator when it came back down.

Everyone else sat in the living room.

"I've got a bit of research to do." Gemini got up and left.

"Come on handsome, let's go to sleep." Cancer walked towards the elevator with Handsome following him.

"Do you want to play a few video games?" asked Capricorn.

Aquarius shrugged. "Alright." Capricorn and Aquarius walked into the video game room.

Libra looked at Virgo. "What should we do?"

The first thing that Virgo thought was, make out. Virgo shrugged. "I don't know. I kind of want to watch tv." He played Criminal Minds.

Libra moved so that she was sitting next to Virgo. "I'll watch it with you. I'm getting a little scared though."

Virgo smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "I'll give you a friendship cuddle in a completely platonic way."

"How kind. I appreciate your gesture of friendship."

After a few hours of binge watching Criminal Minds with Libra, Virgo went to his room. He felt his way to the bed, not wanting to turn on the lights and wake Capricorn. When he got under the covers, he saw something in the corner of his eye. Virgo blinked and it was gone.

He thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. He didn't realize it was something a bit more serious than that.
