Leo was looking for Aries before class. She walked around the hallways until she saw red hair.

AHA! Wait, that's just Sagittarius.

Leo continued walking, until she saw Aries and Scorpio sitting on a bench, discussing something in hushed voices.

Leo didn't know why, but this made her a bit upset. Maybe she was jealous. Was Aries hanging out with Scorpio because Leo questioned her about her plan? Leo didn't know, but she hoped that Aries wouldn't be like that.

"Alright. We'll discuss this later." Scorpio got up and walked away.

Leo sat in her place. "Since when is Scorpio your new bestie?"

Aries rolled her eyes. "You get jealous so easily. I was just making a plan. You can't make a plan without confirming it with Scorpio."

"What plan?"

"I can't tell you."

"Why not?"

"Because..."

"Because what?"

"You'll see."

"Aries, why can't you tell me?"

"I'm not telling anyone, aside from Scorpio, until I know what I'm going to do. But you'll be the next person I tell, okay? I'll tell you what the plan is way before anyone else."

Leo sighed. "Is it dangerous?"

"Potentially. We all could get injured or killed."

"This coming from a girl that hasn't been out of her coma for even a week."

"If my foot is good enough to walk on again, then I don't have to be careful anymore."

"You're supposed to be "taking it easy" on your bad foot."

"I am."

"Yesterday you jumped off a building."

"I suppose I did. That probably wasn't a good idea."

Leo rolled her eyes and elbowed Aries. "Is that or is it not what I spent the whole day telling you?"

"You mentioned it once."

"Mmmhmm."

"Okay. Mayyyyyybe twice."

"..."

"Fine. You're right."

"Just don't make any unnessesary plans. If I find out that you're making a dangerous plan to break all the dogs out of the animal shelter or something like that, then I'll be pissed."

"Oh don't worry. You'll love what this plan is going to be about."

"That's promising."

"Hey! Just have a little faith in your best friend!"

"Fiiiine. I trust you."

"Good. Now let's go find Sagittarius because she owes me five dollars."

The recess bell rang. Aquarius hurried to his locker, grabbed his lunch bag, and quickly ran away. He had to hide before...

"Oh AQUAAAAAAAA~"

Too late. The parasite was nearby.

Aquarius looked around for a way out of this. That's when he saw somebody who could help him out.

"Scorpy! Protect me!" Aquarius hid behind Scorpio.

She closed her locker and looked at him with an unamused expression. "Why?"

"I'm tired of Pisces! He follows me around like a freaking parasite. I'll do anything to get away from him!"

Scorpio considered her options. "Anything?"

"Yes. Wait... it depends."

"I have an idea."

"Okay. What's the price for getting away from Pisces for ten minutes?"

"You have to buy me lunch."

"Okay!" Aquarius pulled ten dollars out of his pocket. "Here. You can buy yourself lunch with this and- oh my god he's right there!"

Scorpio took the ten dollars. "Hey Pisces."

The blond smiled brightly. "Hi. I'm here to hang out with Aquarius. Did you know we're best friends?"

"Sorry, we have to study for our math test."

"You guys are in the same math?"

Aquarius nodded. "I always borrow pencils from her."

Pisces frowned. "Okay. But I can't wait until we sit together at lunch! We're going to be super close until you agree to be my friend!" Pisces skipped away.

"He's way too hyper on a daily basis. Where does he get all that energy?" asked Aquarius.

"Am I supposed to know the answer to that question?"

"A simple "I don't know" would suffice. No need to be sassy."

"Come on, we'd better at least look like we're studying incase he comes by to make sure you're not ditching him." Scorpio opened her locker and took her math textbook out. She handed Aquarius her math notebook and a pencil.

Aquarius sat down in front of the lockers.
"He's very likely to do that."

"I know. I think you're forgetting that we were all friends for a while."

"Oh yeah."

"So, I want to know all about the gossip. The one piece of gossip that I don't have answers to is why you're not hanging out with Sagittarius anymore."

Aquarius shrugged. "She's friends with annoying-loser one and annoying-loser two. And that Gemini twin girl. I think her name is Gem. Taurus is starting to hang out with them too."

"Then why aren't you hanging out with them?"

"I'm not ready to forgive everyone yet. And their group is trying to make everyone become friends again."

"Why not? Why can't you forgive them? Pisces tries so hard to be your friend."

"I don't know."

"Why not forgive him? Do you know how rare it is to find someone so determined to be your friend after you fought in war."

"We didn't fight against each other. I fought with Cancer and Pisces."

"Then what do you have against them?"

Aquarius rolled his eyes. "I walked right into that one, didn't I?"

"What do you have against them?"

"I... I don't know."

"Maybe it's time to realize that you're being distant for no reason."

"It's not no reason!"

"You're just afraid to trust people again. Since after you started trusting everyone, half of your friends turned on you, right?"

"Wait. Is that why you-"

"Pisces and Cancer didn't turn on you. It's not fair to hold a grudge on someone who didn't do anything wrong."

So this is the real reason you helped me. You got the big scoop on another mystery, didn't you, Scorpio? Ugh why did I ask her for help when she always finds a clever way to benefit?

Maybe it's time to forgive the annoying ones. Maybe I should go find Pisces... maybe not today. Maybe I'll let him be my friend another day.

Cancer and Pisces were sitting at their usual spot during lunch. On the field, under a tree. Taurus was on a lunch date with Gemini, so Gem was sitting with them.

"So, how is Gemini enjoying having a girlfriend?" asked Pisces.

"How should I know?" asked Gem.

Pisces shrugged and awkwardly played with a piece of grass. "I don't know. I'm making conversation because you two aren't talking."

Cancer shrugged. "I have a sore throat."

Pisces rolled his eyes. "Right..."

"EEK! There's Erik!" Cancer hid behind Pisces.

"What happened to your sore throat?"

Gem sighed. "If you keep quiet and don't scream like that again, maybe he won't notice you."

"Didn't he get suspended?" asked Pisces.

They watched as Erik and his mom walked into the school.

"Maybe his mom is going to try to convince the principal to remove his suspension," suggested Gem.

"I'm scared. Hug me!" Cancer hugged Pisces tightly.

Pisces tried to push Cancer away. "Let go! Stop hugging me, you weirdo. If you didn't mess with him, you wouldn't have to be scared of him."

"Aww. Look at the cute couple." Sagittarius sat down.

Cancer looked around. "Where?"

Pisces sighed. "She's talking about US, you idiot!"

"But we're not a couple."

"Cancer, you're completely missing the point."

Sagittarius handed a five dollar bill to Gem. "Don't let Aries have this. I owe her five dollars."

"Why?" asked Gem.

"It's not important."

"I'm keeping it." Gem put it in her pocket.

"As long as Aries doesn't get it."

"Why?"

"Because we made a bet and she cheated, so she doesn't get the money."

Cancer stopped hugging Pisces and continued eating his lunch. "So, where's the other fire signs?"

Sagittarius shrugged. "I don't know."

"Are you going to hang out with us again?" asked Gem.

Sagittarius nodded. "I only hanged out with them the first few days that Aries got out of the hospital, because I wanted to make sure Aries was alright. Now that she's jumping off of buildings again, I can leave her alone and hang out with you guys again."

"Jumping off of buildings again?" asked Gem.

"I'm not surprised," said Pisces.

"You know what would be cool?" asked Cancer.

"What?" asked Gem and Pisces at the same time.

"If we could get our kingdoms back."

Sagittarius nodded. "Yeah. We're totally going to go back and take back what's ours! Hopefully soon."

"I'd like that too. I've always wanted to rule over a kingdom," Gem frowned, "but the Gemini that's supposed to rule over our Gemini's old kingdom is dead, so I don't know what happened to their kingdom."

"Dead? How?" asked Pisces.

Gem shrugged. "I don't know. All I know is that the twelve kingdoms were replaced by twelve new zodiacs, but the Gemini died. I know this because I was renting an apartment in that country when it was on the news. I left soon after, so I don't know if the kingdom is still there, or if they got rid of it."

"We have thirteen on our side, but they only have eleven. Let's march over to the elemental continents, and take the kingdoms back one by one!" cheered Sagittarius. "They won't even see it coming!"

"So... when are we going to do it?" asked Cancer.

Sagittarius shrugged. "We'd need a plan..."

"What's wrong? You trailed off mid sentence," said Pisces.

"We'd need a plan to get our kingdoms back. I know someone that is currently making a dangerous plan. What if she's planning on how to get the kingdoms back?"

"How do you know that their plan is related to our conversation?" asked Gem.

"Because," explained Sagittarius. "This is totally something she'd do!"

"She. So the plan maker is a girl. Is it Scorpio?" asked Cancer. "She'd totally plan to wipe out everyone that stands between her and her kingdom."

"I think she's too busy bothering Virgo and Libra to make plans," chuckled Pisces.

"Are they dating? Virgo and Libra?" asked Cancer.

Sagittarius shrugged. "I don't know, but maybe Scorpio hangs out with them because she suspects them of secretly dating, and she wants to know if they are."

"I suspect them of secretly dating. They're very close for two people who are just friends," explained Gem.

"Isn't it funny how we change topics so quickly?" asked Pisces.

"It is. What should we change the topic to now?" asked Sagittarius.

"ERIK!" screamed Cancer.

"Why would we talk about him?" asked Sagittarius.

"Behind you," muttered Gem.

Sagittarius turned around and saw Erik, his mom, and the principal walking towards them.

Cancer lifted the back of Pisces' shirt and tried to hide inside under the shirt.

Pisces groaned. "What are you doing? Cancer, you're eighteen, not eight! Seriously, what's gotten into you? Get out of my shirt!"

"But it's so warm in here. Eww, you have a lot of pimples on your back."

Pisces' face turned bright red. "CANCER! GET OUT OF MY SHIRT! YOU'RE EMBARRASSING BOTH OF US!"

"I'll come out when Erik is gone."

"Hello. What do you want?" asked Gem when Erik got close.

"Why the fuck is he hiding under his loser friend's shirt? What a freak!" scoffed Erik.

The mom pinched Erik's arm. She was a tall woman with dry blonde hair that probably got dyed way to often. Her pointed nails left temporary marks on his arm. "Remember what you're here for? Because I suggest in order for this to work, you have to be nice to them." 

Cancer crawled out from under Pisces' shirt. "What do you want? I'm not scared of you!"

"Then why were you hiding under your fri- OW!"

Erik's Mom cut him off by pinching his arm again. "My son has something he'd like to say to you."

Erik rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry that I beat you up. Even though you deserved it, I would like to apologize to you."

The principal crossed her arms. "I've agreed to let Erik have five days off his suspension if you agree to forgive him."

Erik's Mom nodded. "So he came to apologize, hoping that you'd forgive him."

"If he announces over the school's speakers that I'm the coolest person ever and that he is very sorry for making me sad," explained Cancer.

Erik and his mom looked at the principal.

She shrugged. "I guess it would be alright if Cancer forgives Erik afterwards."

"Alright. I'll say those stup- OW! I mean, I'll say those weird things over the speakers."

Cancer grinned. "You have to do it while everyone is in class."

Erik rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

The principal nodded. "Alright. I'll let you use the school speakers this once to get Cancer's forgiveness. Then I'll take five days off your suspension." She walked back towards the school with Erik and his mom behind her.

Cancer ran after them. "Wait! I'll write a script for you. Wait right here while I write it down on a piece of paper or something."

Virgo and Libra were sitting beside each other during art class. They were working on a project together when the speakers turned on.

"Ahem. It is I, Erik the big mean bully. God why am I even saying this? I want to apologize to cutie pie Cancer and every other student that I've wronged during my unfortunate lifespan... do I really have to say this? Did you see what he wrote? Ugh fine! Cancer is the most handsome guy I know. He's charming and good with the ladies, which explains why he doesn't have a girlfriend, and he blessed this world the day he was born, that's a matter of opinion, and I am very, very sorry to the most handsome guy ever who is also cuter than a newborn baby. Okay, I said all that bullshit. Can I get out of here now?"

"The speaker is still on."

"Oh..." the speaker turned off.

Everyone sat in silence, trying to process what they just heard, while Cancer fell out of his chair from laughing so hard. Aquarius was almost able to hide his smile.

"What do you think happened?" asked Libra.

Virgo shrugged. "Cancer probably made a deal with Erik where Erik had to say certain things over the speakers."

"Wasn't Erik suspended?"

"Maybe it was a way to get out of his suspension."

"He got suspended for a long time."

"Then maybe he got a few days off his suspension."

"Or maybe the principal made him do that to make it up to Cancer, for beating him up."

"Maybe. I don't particularly care."

Libra shrugged. "Me either, but Cancer seems to find it hilarious."

The teacher sighed. "Cancer, you've been laughing for the past five minutes. It's time to stop laughing and get some work done."

"But I... can't... too... funny... AHAHAHAHAHA..."

Libra looked at Virgo. "I think Sagittarius is rubbing off on him. Cancer's starting to become crazy too."

Virgo sighed. "That's possible. How many crazies are there and how many normal ones?"

Libra took a few seconds to think. "The fire signs, Gemini, now Cancer too, Scorpio and Capricorn are the crazy ones. I don't know about Gem yet. Taurus gets really weird when she's tired, so I don't know if I'd count her or not. Then there's Taurus, you, me, Aquarius and Pisces on the normal side."

"I personally think Pisces is crazy too. Do you think others will be converted to the crazy side?"

"I don't know. We're never going to be converted to the crazy side."

"If Scorpio were here, she'd scream is that a challenge?"

"I know it. We won't go crazy."

"Are you sure? It's going to be ironic if you do go crazy someday."

"I won't. I promise! They can try all they want, but I will not go crazy!"

"Then try telling Sagittarius what you just said."

Libra turned around and pointed at Sagittarius. "You guys will never make me go crazy! You can try but you never will succeed."

Sagittarius looked at Libra weirdly. "Okay..."

Libra turned back around.

Virgo laughed. "Well, everyone probably thinks you're crazy now."

"You told me to tell her!"

"I was joking."

Libra messed up Virgo's hair. "Yeah... well, take this!"

"Oh no. You're messing up my hair. What ever will I do? I just might die."

Libra chuckled. "You actually look good with messy hair. Like, really good."

Sagittarius, who suspected them of being in a secret relationship, leaned closer to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"How good?"

"Very good. You almost look as good as me."

"That's not saying mu- OW!"

Libra, who just elbowed Virgo, smirked.

Virgo smirked back. "What? You're not going to kiss it better?"

"I softly elbowed you in the side. You'll be okay."

"Softly would be one word to describe it. Violently would be a better word."

Libra put her hand over Virgo's mouth. "Shhh! Let's work on the project." She pulled her hand away. "I'm surprised you didn't lick my hand."

"I used to, but last time you got mad so I stopped doing it."

"You're so sweet... you're such a sweet friend."

"And you're... you're such a friend."

Libra elbowed him again.

"I'm kidding! You're a very fun friend. It's fun being around you. I can't believe after the incident we stopped talking to each other."

"Me either, but we seriously have to get this project finished."

They started working on their project.

Sagittarius was almost certain that they were secretly dating.

Taurus and Gemini were walking home from school. Taurus shyly held Gemini's hand.

"You look deep in thought," said Gemini.

Taurus woke up from her day dream. "I was just thinking about how nice it is to have someone to spend time with, other that Libra and Scorpio since I live with them. I also talk to Gem, but she's hanging out with Cancer, Pisces and Sagittarius again."

"Aren't you in their friend group?"

"I don't know. I think so... but I'm not sure."

"Just ask Gem, she'll make you part of their friend group for sure."

"Do you think I'm being too clingy? We went on a lunch date and now we're walking home together."

Gemini shrugged. "Not really. I don't mind being around you, so even if we are spending a lot of time together, I really don't mind."

"Okay, good! I was worrying about that for a while."

"Don't worry. If you're being annoying or clingy, I'll let you know, so you don't have to worry about it, okay?"

"Okay."

"Let's stop for ice cream, the ice cream shop is right there."

"My treat!" shouted Taurus and Gemini at the same time.

"You bought lunch, so I'll buy ice cream!" decided Taurus.

"Alright." They walked into the ice cream shop.

"Did you know Leo had a part time job?" asked Taurus.

"No. How do you know?"

"She's right there!"

"Where? Oh, now I see her."

Leo looked up from the counter. "Hey how may I help yo- oh, hi guys! Is this a date~"

Taurus smiled. "Kind of."

Leo smiled. "Aww. That's cute. What would you like?"

"I'll take two scoops of vanilla ice cream please," announced Gemini.

"And I'll take two scoops of chocolate please."

"Sure."

"Hey, why do you have a part time job, Leo?" asked Gemini.

"I don't see how it is any of your business, so I'll keep it a secret."

That was weird. Thought Taurus. What's she up to? Maybe she's just saving up for something expensive.

Leo handed Gemini his ice cream, then Taurus.

"Why is a part time job so secretive?" asked Gemini while leaning one of his arms on the counter.

Leo blushed. "Because I don't need to tell you why I have a job. There are customers behind you, so goodbye." She looked at the people behind them. "Hi, how may I help you?"

Taurus and Gemini walked away.

"I don't even think it's a big deal," said Taurus.

"Knowing Leo, it's not. She likes being secretive just for fun."

"You're not exactly an open book either."

"I'm always like that though. Leo goes from talking nonstop to being quiet and reserved in less than three seconds."

"You used to be like that."

"That's true." They stopped outside Gemini's apartment. "Bye!"

Taurus wrapped her arms tightly around Gemini. "Bye!" Then she looked up and leaned in.

Gemini let Taurus kiss him, before saying goodbye again and walking inside the apartment.

Taurus walked away happily.

Capricorn watched Gemini and Taurus kiss through the window of his room. He immediately turned away and felt sick.

Stupid couples. Who wants to date in high school anyway? That's just stupid.

You'd date Gemini if he asked you, you're just jealous.

Shut up! Now I'm even talking to myself, or thinking to myself, whatever! Maybe I'm starting to go crazy.

Capricorn heard the door open. He sighed and picked up his phone.

"Hey." Gemini walked in Capricorn's room. "I have one scoop of ice cream left. I don't want it so you can have it if you want."

"You look awfully happy."

Gemini's smiled dropped a bit. "What's wrong? You look very pissed."

"And you are getting on my nerves. Can you leave me alone please?"

"How am I getting on your nerves? Did I do something wrong? Here, ice cream will make it better." Gemini put the ice cream cone in Capricorn's hands.

"Because I want to be alone and you're bothering me. Go be happy somewhere else."

Gemini frowned. "I'm finally happy for the first time in a while and this is how you react? I don't know what kind of friend you are." Gemini got up and left.

Capricorn threw the ice cream at the door.

You were an asshole to him. Go apologize.

No. He's making me miserable.

Why? For trying to be happy? He's right, I should be happy for him. What was I thinking? I'll cook his favourite food to make it up to him. Then I'll give him a hug.

No wait, if I hug him he'll think I'm gay. You ARE gay! Yeah, but I don't want him to know that!

Stupid feelings. I wish I didn't have feelings, then I wouldn't be sad anymore. Capricorn got up and walked towards the kitchen. I'll make it up to Gemini so he won't be mad at me anymore. I'm happy that he's happy. Maybe if I keep telling myself that, I'll convince myself. I'm happy if he's happy, I'm happy if he's happy, I'm happy if he's happy...

Gem was reading in her room when Gemini walked in.

Her room was painted blue with a few posters hung up. She had a small bookshelf and a table filled with art supplies beside her closet. Her room was small so it was all cramped together, but it's the first room she ever had, so she didn't mind.

Gem glared at her brother. "Did you forget to knock?"

"Whoops. Sorry." He closed the door and sat on the bed.

"What are you doing?"

"Does Capricorn seem upset or angry lately?"

"He's been in a bad mood all week, but he put on a huge fake smiled and denies it. Why?"

Gemini shrugged. "I've also noticed that. I wonder what's wrong. He's like a brother to me, and I don't want him to be sad."

"Then find out what's making him sad."

"I don't know how!"

Gem shrugged. "You may have to spy on him."

"I'm not spying on Capricorn."

"Thad the only way to see what's going on."

"Is there any other way?"

"Confront him."

"No. When he's upset, he doesn't reveal anything. I guess there really is only one way to find out what's going on."

"Yay. Gem was useful! I love being useful. Now, give me a sibling hug!"

"Sibling hug? Don't be weird." Gemini hurried out of Gem's room.

And that's how you get annoying brothers out of your room, thought Gem.

Capricorn was cooking while Gemini snuck in his room. He felt guilty, but he wanted to know what Capricorn was always so sad about.

He noticed the melted ice cream running down the door.

Poor ice cream. It didn't ever do anything wrong.

Gemini slowly pulled out drawers, looked through the closet, and under the bed.

Maybe he's not hiding any secrets after all. I feel so guilty! I should not have done this!

That's when Gemini looked at the rug. He lifted the rug and saw a bunch of magazines. They were magazines with hot models. Hot male models.

Huh? Why does he have magazines of such attractive men in his room? Ooh who's that guy? Wait, why am I looking through the magazines?

Gemini closed the magazine and put them back.

Does Capricorn like men? Gemini couldn't believe it. How did I not know this the whole time I've been living with him? I feel like I should have known, I know everything else about him.

So what does this have to do with him being upset? Is someone making him feel bad about liking guys? Maybe not. He looked upset today after I got home from my date with Taurus. Is he upset that I didn't walk home with him, or...

Suddenly everything clicked into place.
