After days of recovering in the hospital, Capricorn was released. Gemini led him through the hallways, towards the car. Capricorn had a cast still on his arm, but his ribs were fully healed. Even for a constellation, his ribs shouldn't have healed so quickly. The doctors thought that maybe they weren't as broken as they thought, but nobody could explain the quick recovery in his ribs, while his arm healed at a normal rate. Gemini decided he would look into this later, but for now he wanted to get Capricorn home.

"I was so worried." Gemini held Capricorn's hand, gripping tightly. "I'm glad you can come back home with everyone else."

"How's Gem and Pisces?" asked Capricorn.

"Gem is doing well. She didn't have any problems except headaches which she doesn't have anymore, and Pisces still keeps bandages on his nose, even though it's mostly healed. Faster than it should heal, but he's keeping the bandages on his nose until the bruises go away completely."

"Since when was Pisces so vain?"

Gemini sighed. "He's always vain."

"How's Scorpio?"

"Distant. Libra makes her socialize, but she avoids Cancer and Sagittarius since they're the last two to get their curses."

Capricorn sighed. "Does she blame herself?"

"Yes."

"It's not her fault."

"We've told her that almost everyday. She'll probably always feel at fault. Also the police found something interesting in the trunk of the car."

"What did they find?"

"Snow globes. Why did you go to buy snow globes?"

"I thought they'd be a nice present for everyone."

"Since they were in the trunk, they weren't damaged. The police handed them to Pisces a few days ago."

Capricorn smiled. "At least the snow globes are alright."

Gemini led Capricorn through the hospital doors. "Where did I park again?"

Capricorn's hands suddenly grabbed Gemini's arm, making him stop. "C-can we walk instead?"

Gemini furrowed his brow, noticing how Capricorn's hands were shaking. "It's a long walk."

"Okay. We can drive then." Capricorn inhaled, his face pale as he looked towards the parking lot.

"You don't have to drive. I can drive."

"I..." Capricorn froze, squeezing Gemini's arm harder.

Gemini looked at Capricorn, realizing what happened. "I'll get the others to pick the car up later."

Capricorn sighed in relief as he walked home, moving his hands from Gemini's arm, holding his hand again. "Sorry."

"It doesn't bother me. I'd rather you feel comfortable than make you get in a car."

"I'll have to get back in a car sometime though."

"You could be overwhelmed from the accident. You'll have to try tomorrow since we have school, but you should rest today."

Scorpio was playing with Cheeto in the backyard, when she heard the back doors open.

"Cancer says he needs to talk to you." Sagittarius stood in front of the doors, not stepping any closer.

"What does he want to say?" Scorpio scratched Cheeto's stomach.

"It's very important. You need to go find him."

"I think I'll stay here."

"But... Cancer needs you. He also thinks he's better than you at video games, you should prove him wrong."

Scorpio didn't even look up. "I know what you're doing."

"What am I doing?"

"Trying to get me to spend time with Cancer and activate his curse before yours."

Sagittarius blinked from surprise. "No."

"You can't save him from the curse." Scorpio stood up and walked towards the house, Cheeto following her. "If you're supposed to get yours first, me being around him won't change anything. One of you will get the worst curse, you can't manipulate it so that you get it. The order of the curses is probably already decided."

Sagittarius balled her hands into fists. "I'm more worried about Cancer getting the last curse than I am. There has to be some way to save him from the last curse."

"You'll just have to wait and see who gets it."

Sagittarius smirked. "I would love mine to be catching on fire or falling into a volcano, since I can't catch on fire." She made fire surround around her as proof.

"Your fire can't hurt you. Does other fire hurt you?"

"Water signs can't drown in water that they didn't create, so I can't burn in fire that I didn't create."

"You should stop worrying. Stress isn't good for your heart, it'll give you a heart attack."

Sagittarius cringed. "You'd have to be really stressed for that to happen though."

"I'm trying to convince you to stop worrying. Go play video games with Cancer."

"Fine. But only because I don't want to stress too much." Sagittarius walked back inside.

Scorpio and Cheeto were relaxing in the pillow room when Cancer joined them.

"What do you want?"

Cancer sat close to Scorpio, but not too close. "I have an idea."

"A bit of distance won't stop your curse from going off. Capricorn, Gem and Pisces were near the mall when they got in that car crash."

Cancer sat closer to Scorpio. "I think you should spend more time with Sagittarius. You two don't seem as close anymore."

Scorpio knew what Cancer was doing, so she decided to mess with him. "I can't do that."

"Why?"

"Because I hate her."

Cancer's eyes widened. "Why do you hate her?"

"Because she's annoying."

"You can't hate her for that!"

"She also annoyed me earlier today."

"How?"

"She tried to convince me to hang out with you, to try to make sure you got your curse first. I told her the order is probably already decided."

"Do you actually hate her? I feel like you were messing with me."

"Of course I was messing with you. You thought you could trick me into making Sagittarius get her curse first, but I don't think I can influence the curses like that."

"I'll feel bad if she gets the worst curse."

"You can't help it."

"You can't help making everyone get their curses either, but you're still avoiding everyone."

"I don't avoid people."

"You eat in your room instead of in the dining room."

"I've had lots of homework."

"That's why you're doing nothing in the pillow room with Cheeto?"

Scorpio glared at Cancer. "I'm tired of talking to you."

"Don't change the topic. You still blame yourself."

Scorpio stood up and walked towards the door. "I don't."

Cancer made a wall of water block the door."It's not your fault! You can't just blame yourself!"

Scorpio looked at the wall of water before walking through it. "Did you forget this doesn't affect me?"

Cancer sighed. He forgot Scorpio was a water sign. "But Cheeto can't pass through my water wall!"

Scorpio smiled as a small gap appeared in the wall. Cheeto walked through, before Scorpio closed it.

Sagittarius was sitting in the comfort room when Cancer joined her.

"Did you try the same thing I did?" asked Sagittarius.

"I tried to get Scorpio to spend time with you. I thought it would make you get your curse first."

Sagittarius nodded. "I tried the same thing."

Cancer sat down and sighed. "I'm terrified, but I want you to get your curse first."

"It'll be better if I get the worst curse. Whatever it is, I'll handle it."

"Somehow I get the feeling I'll get the worst one."

"How do you know?"

"I just have the feeling." Cancer shrugged. "I kept getting nightmares that it'll be me."

"You don't know for sure though. Maybe Scorpio's right. We just have to wait and see."

"Want to play video games? I need something to take my mind off things."

"Sure."

Aries was in the library reading a book when Aquarius found her. He sat in the chair across from her, reading the Chinese characters on the cover. "What language is that?"

"Mandarin."

"Usually its takes people a long time to learn one new language. You learned a lot in two years."

"I think I have above average skills for learning languages. Maybe that's my skill."

"Skill?"

"Everyone seems to have a skill. Gemini is really good at figuring things out, Scorpio can read people, Libra is good at medicine, Virgo is very smart, etc."

"What's my skill?"

"Having nice muscles."

Aquarius frowned. "Maybe I'm good at being normal in a house full of crazy people."

"That's a lame skill."

"I probably don't know mine yet."

Aries put her book down. "What did you come to talk to me about?"

"Since we're best friends -against my will- I might as well learn more about you."

"I thought you'd be mad at me since I'm dating Leo."

"It didn't work out. I didn't belong with her, so I'll find someone else later on."

"How do you want to get to know me better?"

"Favourite colour?"

"Blue. Yours?"

"I don't have one."

"How do you not have a favourite colour?"

Aquarius shrugged. "I like blue, and green, and orange, and red... I like every colour except pink and brown."

"Nobody likes brown."

"Favourite language?"

"Italian and Japanese and... there's a few that I like more than the others."

"How do you not have a favourite language?"

"Touché."

"How much Greek do you know?"

"Not as much. I studied it, but I'm not fluent yet."

"If I teach you Greek, we can make a deal where you teach me another language."

"What language do you want to learn?"

"Spanish."

"Why?"

"It sounds cool. Or maybe you can teach me Chinese."

"Mandarin is the language that they mostly use in China."

"The symbols look complicated. It'd be cool to learn how to read them all."

"It seems funny that we're still best friends. I wanted to be your friend so it would hurt less when Leo chose you over me. I didn't expect that you'd still want to be my friend."

"I'm not a sore loser."

"Now I know why Sagittarius likes being friends with you so much."

"Are you going to tell the others about you and Leo, though?"

"They'll figure it out."

Libra, Taurus, Leo and Gem were in the living room. Libra, Taurus and Leo were doing homework. Gem wasn't.

Libra sighed. "Gem. As lovely as your singing voice is, we're trying to concentrate."

"I just survived a car crash."

"You use that as an excuse every time I tell you to do something."

"Maybe the others would rather hear your singing," suggested Taurus.

Gem sat on the couch. "Okay, I'll behave."

"How do you solve question five?" asked Leo. "Ignore all the drawings and kind messages Sagittarius wrote in my notebook."

"You look like a fly that bathed in dog shit," read Taurus from Leo's notebook.

"The insults get weirder every day."

Taurus paused when she saw what else Sagittarius wrote. You should pay attention in class instead of smiling at the back of your girlfriend's head. I wonder what you're daydreaming about.

Taurus pointed to the message. "What does this mean?"

Leo smirked. "Sagittarius always teases me about my girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" asked a surprised Gem.

"Aries."

"What?" asked Libra.

Leo blinked. "I forgot you guys didn't know."

"Since when are you dating Aries?" asked Taurus.

Leo shrugged. "A little more than a week ago."

"I can't really say I expected this," said Libra. "I thought you were going to go to prom with Aquarius."

"She said no when he asked," added Gem. "I was there when he told us about it. He seemed pretty cool."

Taurus furrowed her brow as she thought. "So that makes Aquarius and Scorpio the only ones without a prom date. Maybe they'll go with each other."

"Technically I don't have a prom date-"

Taurus looked at Libra. "Even if you say it's as friends, you're still going with Virgo as your date. Pisces recommended you guys as prom king and queen."

Libra sighed. "Pisces is soon getting pushed out the window."

"But he's already hurt enough," smirked Gem. "Stop bullying us car crash survivors."

"Can someone lock Gem out of the house please?" asked Libra.

"Can someone knock Libra off her pedestal of superiority please?" mimicked Gem.

Taurus sighed. "I can't do homework with either of you arguing with each other."

"She's right," agreed Leo. "Go argue somewhere else."

"Maybe we should lock them out of the house instead," suggested Gem.

Taurus smiled. "I'll walk outside myself. Wait..."

Libra sighed from frustration. "Can you stop-"

The door opened. Gemini and Capricorn walked in the living room.

Leo gasped. "Capricorn!"

"Cap! Gem!" Taurus grinned.

"Hi Capricorn and only Capricorn!" Gem waved and smiled.

"No hello for your brother?" asked Gemini.

Gem crossed her arms. "You're not cool enough to get a hello. Capricorn is."

Capricorn laughed. "Missed you too, Gem."

"How are you doing?" asked Leo.

Capricorn waved his cast around. "My arm is broke, but my ribs somehow healed completely. I also have a lot of stitches around my stomach and here." He pointed to where some stitches started around his collar bone, disappearing under his shirt.

Taurus cringed. "I don't need to see any more stitches."

"I'll sign your cast." Libra took a marker from her bag and signed Capricorn's cast. Everyone else took a turn signing.

Capricorn smirked. "I have signatures from Libra, Leo, Taurus, loser and... future sister-in-law who is better than everyone else?"

Gem shrugged.

"I didn't write loser," sighed Gemini.

"But Gemini means loser," replied Capricorn.

"I think Gemini also translates to idiot," teased Gem.

"And what language would translate my name like that?"

"Gemglish. It's a very uncommon language."

"Everyone else will have to sign later." Taurus started packing her stuff back in her backpack. "We're all glad you're okay, Cap."

"Pisces has a box of stuff in his room," informed Leo. "The police found it in your car. Pisces wouldn't let anyone else see what was in the box except Gemini."

Capricorn smiled. "I'll pick it up later. I want to relax in my room for now."

"We can keep you company," offered Libra.

Capricorn grabbed Gemini's arm, pulling him towards the elevator. "No thanks."

After they left, Leo and Libra packed their homework away.

"Let's go to a nice restaurant for supper to celebrate everyone being home again," suggested Gem. "I'll even behave."

"You broke a lamp last time," deadpanned Libra.

"It was an accident. Sagittarius was the one who scared me, blame her."

"I agree with Gem, that sounds like a good idea," smiled Taurus.

Leo nodded. "We haven't all gone out for a nice supper in a while."

Libra sighed. "Alright."

Virgo was minding his own business in the music room, playing piano, when Pisces found him.

Virgo finished the song before turning to face Pisces.

Pisces smirked. "I know how you can ask Libra out."

Ignoring Pisces, Virgo started playing another song.

"Virgo? Don't ignore me. Virgo!"

Virgo stopped playing. "I don't want to ask Libra out."

"You guys clearly like each other."

"Your nose is broke, yet you're already sticking it in other people's business."

"You guys clearly like each other," repeated Pisces.

"Stop talking about things you know nothing about."

"Did you know that Danny from Libra's biology class is planning to ask her to prom?"

"How do you know?"

"He has a massive crush on her. I overheard him talking to his friends."

Virgo shrugged. "So?"

"Aren't you only going with Libra if neither of you get asked by anyone else?"

Panic flashed in Virgo's eyes, but he wouldn't let himself react in front of Pisces. "She probably doesn't want to go with him."

"She might."

"We'll see tomorrow then. It's Libra's choice who she'd rather go with. I wouldn't interfere with that. Now go try to set someone else up. Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo and Aries don't have prom dates, as far as I know."

"Danny is going to buy her a rose and he's going to ask her during recess." Pisces walked away to let Virgo think in peace.

Later on that night, Libra returned to her room. She opened the door for Taurus, before sitting on her bed.

"What's that?" asked Taurus.

Libra followed Taurus' gaze to a bouquet of roses on her nightstand. They were placed in a pretty vase with a ribbon tied around it. Libra picked up and opened the card that sat on her pillow.

Dear Libra,

I am excited to be your platonic date to our prom. It's going to be fun to spend time with my best friend, dancing with you all night long. I hope you're as excited as I am.
