Also for some important reason, I want to hear your thoughts on post-interval. Anything you like? Anything you want me to bring back from older chapters? Any characters you want me to write more on? Any ideas for future chapters?

I'm asking this because I am hoping to use post-interval as an improved version of the plot, the writing and the characters. But I am curious to know if you guys enjoyed this arc because I certainly enjoyed writing it. I want to know what you think of it for future chapters.

Six in the morning. Lovely. No one is awake during this time. She sighed and unlocked the phone screen to check her messages

She decided to check on Tyler's messages first. She knew he was asleep during this time but she decided to send him a text.

"That's not surprising." Sam monotonously answered. His eyes were still stuck to the screen, his fingers tapping away on the screen.

Alex stepped up a few steps and sat next to their housemate. "Are you okay? Like you're just staring. What happened?" Alex then gasped. "Was it Cleo?"

Sam broke off from the screen. "What?"

"Did Cleo say something to you?"

"No." Sam faced back to the screen.

"Ok, not Cleo. Hmm, maybe it's Vivian? Did she yell at you?"

"What was that about?!" Alex heard Leo yell out. They noticed Leo storming into the foyer, clearly in a bad mood.

"You guys were being a bit too chaotic." Sam countered back.

"Yeah, but it is fun!"

"Is it?" Sam raised an eyebrow. "Also Arlen started it. Don't blame me!"

"And I'll text Sienna." Sam turned to his phone and started tapping.

Alex sighed and got off the stairs. They made their way into the living room and plopped down on the couch. In front of them on the TV was a football game. Alex made themself comfortable and stared at the screen.

Then their phone started buzzing. They reached for the remote switching off the TV before they checked the ID. Alyssa was calling, a photo of her with a donut on the phone screen.

Alex shook their head. Looks like TV can wait. They answered the call immediately. "Hello?"

The same jacket Cameron wore when they got together after watching the sunset at the beach house. The same jacket Vincent found himself snatching to wear. The same jacket that was very cozy.

He watched as his boyfriend admired himself from all angles. He noticed Cameron brushed a hand through his messy brown hair. Vincent jumped when he noticed Cameron smiling at him. "Admiring me, babe?"

"Uh." Vincent immediately looked down at the mug in his hand filled with coffee. He felt his face heating up. "I wasn't admiring you."

"Lies." he heard Cameron laugh. He looked up and noticed Cameron had turned towards him, arms crossed. "You never admit to anything. You were admiring me because you think I'm fabulous."

"That's not the- yeah that's the case." Vincent walked into the room. He sat down on Cameron's cross-legged chair. "When did you get this chair?"

"Two days ago."

"It's very comfortable." Vincent placed his mug on the desk near Cameron's potted plants. His legs brushed near Cameron's backpack near the chair. He crossed his legs. "But that's not important. You're heading off somewhere?"

"Cleo suggested we meet up at the library to work together," Cameron answered. "How did you guess I was about to head out."

"The jacket." Vincent pointed to Cameron's blue puffer jacket. "You wear that jacket when you go out."

"You seem to recognise this jacket."

"Of course. You wore that jacket when I confessed my feelings to you. How could I forget that?" Vincent threw his hands out. "You remember that, don't you?"

Cameron nodded. Of course, he remembered. They both remembered. It was a while ago at the beach house. The sun had already set and Vivian and Alyssa sounded like they left. He found himself whisking back to that time, to when Vincent hunched over the balcony's railing and stared at the blue-hued view in front of him.

"I need to talk to you about something," he remembered Vincent had whispered.

Cameron remembered he had turned to face him. "What is it?"

"Have you ever felt like you are losing against yourself?"

"Hm? Not really? Why is there something up with that?"

"Um..." Vincent had looked away. "It's.... it's." He shook his head and laughed. "Nevermind, forget what I said."

"That sounded like that was something important." He slid closer to Vincent and nudged him. "Come on tell me~."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No."

"Yes. Wait- f***." Vincent covered his face with his hands. Cameron found himself laughing.

"You said yes, you're gonna have to tell me."

"Do I have to?" Vincent whined and lowered his hands.

"You have to."

"But..." he sighed. "Fine." Then Vincent did some inaudible mumbling.

"Sorry? What was that." Cameron raised a hand to his ear.

"I said... I am having fe-" More inaudible mumbling.

"Can you speak up?"

"I AM HAVING FEELINGS FOR YOU CAMERON, GOD DAMMIT."

"Whoa!" Cameron stepped back. "Okay not that loud."

"You told me to speak up."

"I said speak, not yell." Cameron found himself smirking. "In response to what you said. Cool."

"Cool?!" Vincent frowned. "You told me to speak up and now you're going 'cool'?"

"What's wrong with that?" Cameron laughed. "I find it cool that you finally admitted your undying love for me. Plus I already know. What was your kiss on my forehead for then?"

"I didn't want to see you cry."

"And now you're here admitting feelings for me."

Vincent stomped a foot on the ground. "YOU-" He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose before he faced the view. "You're so annoying. Why did I ever catch feelings? You never even told me if you feel the same thing back."

Cameron smiled. "You wanna know my response?"

"Yes!"

"Alright. You asked for it."

Cameron leaned forward and kissed Vincent on the cheek. He then ruffled Vincent's jet-black hair before turning on his heel to head back into the beach house.

He heard Vincent splutter. "By- by wanting a response. I meant words! H-hey, don't you walk away from me!" Cameron turned back. He noticed Vincent had a hand on the cheek where the kiss was on. "What on earth was your response?!"

"My response was from the heart." Cameron had done a heart with his hands. He noticed Vincent rolled his eyes. "Oh, by the way, Vincent. Are we together now?"

"What do you think, Cameron? I confessed to you." Vincent crossed his arms. "Do you think we are together?"

"Yes."

"Then we are together." Vincent smiled. "We are together."

"Promise me one thing."

"What?"

"We must tell the others. Not now but later."

Vincent huffed. "Fine."

And now months later, they are still together. Cameron looked up and down Vincent. He was cross-legged on the chair wearing dark jeans and a maroon-coloured turtleneck. His soft jet black hair was combed and arranged in curtain bangs. He raised his mug to his lips and sipped. Cameron wondered what it tasted like. The coffee that is.

"You okay?" Vincent asked. "You're silent."

"Oh!" Cameron snapped back to reality. "Sorry, I was reflecting on something." He felt his phone buzz and fished out his phone. "Oh, Cleo's there already. I have to go."

"You take care, alright?"

"I will. Thank you." Cameron picked up his backpack and slung one of his straps over his shoulder. He faced Vincent who was waiting for a response. "Yes?"

"Sorry, I just noticed that you look really good today."

"You say that every day."

"It's a kind gesture. You know, compliments."

"Sure. If that's what you think, sure." Cameron smiled and leaned towards his boyfriend. "You wanna know what's a kind gesture?"

"What?" Next thing he knew, Vincent felt a kiss planted on his forehead. He looked up and noticed Cameron smiling.

"That." Cameron ruffled Vincent's hair. Then he left. "Bye babe!"

"O-oh? Bye?" Vincent raised a hand to his forehead. He smiled softly and faced the doorway. "And have fun, babe." (WELL, WELL, WELL)

I procrastinated my assignments time for this. I am ashamed to do that but I was confused and bored of it- the assignment I mean.

Also, can't have a Vincent-themed chapter without Vineron. Because everyone is wondering and I wanted to gift you with this.

Also fun fact, initially I had planned to explain how Vincent got together in one of the beach house chapters but I must have forgotten.
