58|| Vincent and Vivian's idea

I have two exams left, and today was a free day, so I managed to work on this chapter.

So I was thinking about having another interactive chapter. Like, the last interactive chapter it was a Q&A. I am thinking about doing a 'Truth or Dare' chapter or a 'Would You Rather' but I am still thinking about it.

So what do you guys think? 'Truth or Dare', 'Would You Rather' or something else?

Also, would you like arcs? Like it would be the first person P.O.V of a character. I am still thinking about that idea.

Also, I have been thinking about extending the date for the contest to 30th November. Mainly because most of you guys are still thinking about it and it gives people more time to work on it. Looking forward to those entries.

Weeks past for the zodiacs. They have started revising for their exams and even spent time together. They have also spent time on their phones...... a long time on their phones. This raised concerns for Vincent and Vivian.

It raised concerns for the two so much, the two ha a conversation about an idea.

It is now the weekend for the zodiacs and Tyler is busy watching a romantic comedy movie on his phone in the living room. He smiled as he watched the movie, peacefully. He was delighted that he never got any disruptions.

Well, he was interrupted by Cameron slithering like a snake into the living room. From the look of the Capricorn male's face, he had a look of fear combined with worry. Tyler paused the movie and turned off his phone. The Taurus male then turned to Cam, "Hey Cameron, what's the matter?"

"HIDE YOUR PHONE FROM VINCENT. QUICK!"

Tyler raised an eyebrow. He scanned the room before turning to Cameron, "Why?"

"Don't you know? Vincent has been acting strange! He snatched my phone while I was watching an episode of ponies and friendship!" Cameron replied. The male notice Tyler snickering, "Stop that! This is a serious matter!"

"Well, you should. He may take your phone next!"

"What makes you say that?" Tyler smirked, waving his phone around. Suddenly Vincent walked into the room and smiled when he saw Tyler's phone. The Virgo male snatched the phone from Tyler.

"Should have listened to me," Cameron muttered. Vincent chuckled and admired the three phones he is holding: his, Cameron's and Tyler's.

"HEY! Give me back my phone!" Tyler cried.

Vincent shook his head. He heard the doorbell ring and skipped away to it. Tyler and Cameron followed the male, "Hey!"

"In a moment," Vincent answered as he opened the door. There at the door was Vivian carrying an open treasure chest with phones inside. Vincent placed the three phones in the chest.

"That's everything!" Vivian smiled, closing the chest.

"EXCUSE ME? WHO DO YOU GUYS THINK YOU ARE, PLACING OUR PHONES IN A CHEST??? NUH-UH. I DID NOT TELL YOU TO DO THAT!" Tyler yelled.

Vincent and Vivian turned to the furious Taurus male. They then gave him a nod. Tyler and Cameron blinked in surprise and exchanged glances.

"Was I too loud?" Tyler asked.

"No, no. Vivian and I just need to tell everyone about this idea we have been discussing," Vincent shook his head. This made Tyler and Cameron raise their eyebrows.

"So important that you snatched everyone's phones here?" Cameron asked as he slithered over to Vincent.

"Uh.... regarding that-. We have a meeting with everyone, including you guys." Vincent chuckled as he stroked Cameron's brown hair. The male then noticed Tyler and Vivian snickering, "Will you guys stop that?"

"Stop what?" Tyler pretended to sound innocent.

"The snickering! Stop that!"

"I wasn't snickering."

"YES, YOU WERE."

"NO, I WASN'T~!"

"ANYWAYS," Cameron interrupted, "Where is the meeting at?"

"At my house," Vivian answered, "I called everyone up there, so let's go there now."

[SOON AT HOUSE 6]

Soon everyone was gathered at the living room of House 6. Tyler was pacing back and forth the room, his hands behind his back. His friends were either sitting or standing watching the male. Vivian was holding the chest.

"So.... we're all called for a meeting. What is it?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, Vivian and Vincent. You arranged this meeting, so what is it? Is anyone in trouble?" Levin asked.

"Is the smoke back?" Cleo asked worriedly.

"Is Bumblebutt fired?" Alyssa asked hopefully.

"Or worse is Ms Florence fired?" Leo asked, his eyes widening in fear. Everyone else but Vivian and Vincent did a dramatic gasp.

Vivian shook her head, "No one is in trouble, there are no traces of smoke, Ms Bumblebert isn't fired and Ms Florence isn't fired."

"Thank goodness Ms Florence isn't fired." Giselle exhaled a sigh of relief.

"Dammit, I hope Ms Bumblebutt would," Alyssa muttered.

"Ok, if it isn't any of those options then what is this meeting for?" Skyler asked, "And more importantly why are our phones in that chest?"

Skyler pointed to the chest Vivian is holding. Vincent and Vivian exchanged glances and nodded. Vincent then turned to the others, "Me and Vivian have planned an outing that would get everyone off their phones for a day."

"UGH!" the other 22 cried. This did not surprise Vincent and Vivian because they knew it was coming.

"Guys, it will be fun. We promise!" Vivian pointed out.

"More fun than being on our phones? We already did a trip recently to meet Colin's family." Sabrina pointed out, "At least give us our phones back."

"No it's not like that, and no we won't. The activity is super fun, we promise." Vincent answered for Vivian.

"More exciting than phones?" Cameron asked, raising an eyebrow. Vincent nodded back.

"Yes, more exciting and more fun than phones."

"Fun." That wasn't the others' idea of fun.

"But guys, we're going to an escape room and before sunset, I know a great spot to hang out at and watch the sunset." Vivian swung her leg side to side as she tried her hardest to look innocent.

Lily blinked in surprise. "Aren't escape rooms like those puzzle-like rooms where we escape."

"Duh." was Vivian's response.

"Alright, that sounds more fun than phones. But watch as we turn to our devices." Alyssa pointed out.

"About that, your precious baby phones are not going you on the trip," Vivian smirked, "Weare going phone free, but we aren't going vlog free."

"So I can bring my Go-Pro?" Tahlia asked excitedly. Vivian nodded back making Tahlia jump up and down in excitement.

"Hold up, how come you won't allow us to bring our electronic devices but you gave Tahlia permission to bring her camera???" Gilbert then pouted, "This is INJUSTICE!"

"But at least you don't stare at your camera constantly playing video games."

"Hmph. Fair point."

"Either way, I am excited about attending the escape room." Lizzy smiled. The others nodded in agreement..... well except Tyler. Everyone turned to the male for his response.

"Fiiiiine," Tyler sighed, "But I won't enjoy it."

"Trust us you will. Me and Vivian hired a bus so we can travel together for a day." Vincent smiled. He got interrupted by Sienna standing up excitedly.

"A PARTY BUS?" the Sagittarius female smiled even wider when Vincent and Vivian shook their heads. "D'awwwwww..."

"Well let's get going then," Carol smiled.

"Wait, I need to put this chest away."

"Go ahead. We'll be right here waiting." Vincent nodded. Vivian smiled and headed off to House 6's study room, which is away from the others.

When she got there, she looked down at the black carpet on the floor. The girl flapped open the carpet and was greeted by a hidden button. Vivian stepped on the button and the bookcase in the room slid to the side, having a storage space that looked like it can fit a chest. (What-)

Vivian carefully placed the chest in the hidden spot and pressed the button on the floor again closing the hidden space. She then flapped the carpet down and marched out towards the living room to meet up with the others.

"Alright, now we can go."

•.:°×═⭐═×°:.• (Bob is watching Zoe dancing to an elegant song)

"ARE WE THERE YET????" Alyssa screeched for the 12345678910th time.

The zodiacs are all in the bus sitting together. The bus was driven by a driver whose left eye was twitching from the group.

"Not yet." Vivian muttered, "Just wait for a bit."

"Fine," Alyssa muttered. She then screeched, "ARE WE THERE YET?"

"N O!"

"Hey guys, how about we do something together?" Lily suggested.

"Let's annoy Vivian!" Gilbert grinned like a trickster.

"If this is where this group is heading to, COUNT ME OUT." Vivian sighed.

"Let's sing a song!" Phoebe suggested. The others stared at the Pisces girl.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"No."

"But singing is fun! Please?"

"N O."

"I have an idea, let's create a story. A short story. We start from me and go in order until we get to Tyler. We say something random to contribute to the story each." Tahlia suggested.

The other zodiacs nodded in agreement. Tahlia clapped her hands, "Great! I'll start first. There once was a pretty princess named Gilberta."

"Hhhh." was Gilbert(a)'s response, "Who..... owned a mansion near a beach!"

"She had a unicorn named Sprinkles," Giselle added. Colin the Gemini female a weird look.

"Unfortunately Sprinkles ditched Gilberta for a hot looking pegasus," Colin smirked.

"OI!" Gilbert cried. The others shushed him.

"Gilberta was very upset, so h- I mean SHE decided to venture to find a better unicorn." Carol continued.

"So she talked with Leo the Fabulous wizard to take her to the Land of Unicorns." Leo smiled.

"Leo the Fabulous had a friend with him: Princess Sabrina." Lily pointed out. She was cast a glare by Sabrina. The Scorpio female then chuckled.

"Princess Sabrina had a horse named Donut," Vincent added to the story.

"And she also had two gay friends named Vincent and Cameron," Vivian smirked.

"W H A T?" Vincent cried out.

"So they set out to search for a unicorn for Gilberta. But unfortunately..." Levin smiled.

"They came across an abounded village," Lizzy whispered in a creepy voice.

"And they all realised they were lost," Skyler added.

"Everyone in the group freaked out, except for Gilberta." Sabrina smiled.

"Gilberta told her group to calm down, but she was interrupted by Donut running away," Sam gasped.

"The group noticed and chased after Donut. They soon found him in a..." Sienna smiled.

"A BEAUTIFUL AREA FULL OF UNICORNS, PEGASI AND ALICORNS. W H A T?" Cameron did jazz hands to lighten the mood.

"Gilberta and her group looked around at the beautiful unicorns, alicorns and pegasi," Cleo added.

"But there was one which caught the group's eye.." Arlen grinned,

"A blue alicorn called Arlenda," Aika smirked.

"After Gilberta chose Arlenda, everyone headed back to Gilberta's palace," Pete said with a nod.

"And they had a party! Gilberta and Princess Sabrina were dancing together while the others watched." Phoebe sighed happily.

"Everyone had enjoyed the party and Gilberta had enjoyed her dance with Princess Sabrina, and her new alicorn Arlenda." Alex nodded.

"But what she liked the most was the sprite and the donuts." Alyssa laughed.

"After the party, everyone flopped on the ground and fell asleep. The end!" Tyler quickly finished. He noticed everyone giving him the silent treatment, "What? It was a great ending!"

"..." was everyone else's response. The bus eventually stopped

"We're here! The Escape Room area!" the driver called out, "I'll be waiting out here, but enjoy your time there!"

"Thank you!" everyone else chimed as they left the bus. Some zodiacs thanked the bus driver again, while Vivian apologised to the river about the group's behaviour.

•.:°×═⭐═×°:.• (Bob had brought Zoe a bouquet)

"This is so exciting like we're taking part in an escape room!" Sienna gushed. She and her friends were currently guided by a worker through a hallway to their escape room, "This is so exciting I could faint."

"Hold onto your horses ma'am, we haven't got to the real escape room yet," Arlen laughed.

Sienna shrugged her shoulders. "I know, but it's so exciting."

The workers muttered some words under his breath.

"I'm sorry sir, but can you repeat that?" Alex asked, "You have a quiet voice."

"That's what they all say..." the worker sighed. He then turned to the zodiacs, "Now have any of you did an escape room before?"

No response. The worker nodded as he understood, "So no one. But have you at least heard it?"

"We get stuck in an escape room doing puzzles to get our way out, right?" Carol asked the worker.

The worker nodded back with a smile. He had led the zodiacs in one of the escape rooms. The zodiacs noticed there was a locked chest near the door locked by a combination lock (you know those locks where you unlock it with four numbers?) and a yellow sticky note with writing stuck on the lid. There were also other puzzles scattered around the room. They also noticed the door had a door lock on it.

"That but within a certain time limit. You must try and escape before one hour, but seeing that there are 24 of you, it would make it a lot quicker."

"What happens if we pass one hour? Do we get stuck?" Pete asked, his eyes widening in fear. The worker shook his head.

"No. I'll just let you out." the guide looked at a clipboard with times on it, "The highest score was done by a group of elderly women, and I must say they were fast."

"So our main objective is to get the highest score in this room?" Giselle asked.

"Yes. The room would be taking part is to search for the golden key with a diamond. The key is hidden after eight puzzles. You have an hour to solve the puzzles and find the key, but you can't take the key. I wish you luck."

"Wait I have another que-" Sam was cut off by the worker leaving the room and slamming the door shut. "Knew it. I was about to ask him something."

"This is ridiculous." Tyler sighed, "I'd rather watch a TV show at this moment."

"Oh Tyler, we're going device-free, remember?" Vivian smiled walking over to the first puzzle which was a 'find the four gems and bring them forth' puzzle, "Now come on, we have to solve the puzzles. We have to find a ruby gem, an emerald gem, a sapphire gem and an amethyst gem! This is gonna be so much fun!"

"YAY!" Cleo, Cameron, Sienna, Vincent, Gilbert, Leo and Phoebe cheered.

The others groaned.

•.:°×═⭐ 🌟═×°:.• (Zoe and Bob share a hug. Awww.)

[SOON]

"Alright! The sixth puzzle is done! Now, what's the next puzzle?" Tahlia asked as she collected a scroll that popped out. Leo snatched the scroll and opened it, reading what was written on the page.

"The next puzzle we have to unravel is a code. It says here on the page but we have to keep onto some laptop or something." Leo read aloud.

"You mean that laptop over there?" Alyssa asked, pointing to a laptop on a table near one of the walls, "And suddenly we're going tech-free."

"Oh shush, this is an exception," Vivian muttered. Cleo walked up to the laptop.

"I'll solve the code," Cleo offered as she stepped forward to the laptop. She turned back to her friends, "Leo, what's the code?'

"The scroll says the way to decode this code is to use the next letter in the alphabet. or instance z would be a, a would be b."

"So the code letter is before the decoded letter, smart." Cleo smile. Leo placed the open scroll next to Cleo and noded. "Alright, let's see this code.."

The girl looked on the scroll. It said:

S-g-d   j-d-x   h-r   h-m   s-g-d   b-g-d-r-s

"Hm...." Cleo mumbled. She then clicked her fingers and typed the answer on the laptop before pressing enter:

T-h-e  k-e-y  i-s  i-n  t-h-e  c-h-e-s-t

"What chest?" Cleo asked. She then noticed the chest near the door, "Oh."

The group walked over to the chest near the door and examined it. Sabrina keeled down and picked up the sticky note, "Hm... this sticky note..."

"What about it?" Gilbert asked, kneeling next to Sabrina.

"It has four clues. for the four numbers for this lock." The girl showed the sticky note to her friends, "Make that, maths equations."

"Ew," muttered Pete.

"Maths equations for this inserty number thingy," Sienna muttered (Thanks _m-mariii_ for suggesting that statement, well actually she said something similar to it, but eh). "How fun."

"Well, we better decode it fast." Vincent pointed out. The group then examined the clues on the sticky note:

1) (6 x 2) - 4 = ?
2) Two, four, ___, eight!
3) A single-digit number that rhymes with eleven
4) The square root of 1

"Well, six times two is twelve. Take 4 away from that number. That would be eight!" Lily calculated.

"Six for number two!" Aika sang softly.

"I am sure the single digit that rhymes with eleven is  s e v e n." Cameron sighed.

"W h a t. The square root of one????? I am so confused." Tyler examined. Vincent facepalmed.

"Square root of one is ONE."

"Oh."

"Eight......... six........ seven....... one." Sabrina murmured as she did the code on the combination lock. She then pulled the lock and grinned hen it unlocked, "YES!"

The girl took the lock off the chest and opened the chest wide enough for the others to see. The girl gasped after noticing what was inside.

A golden key, with a diamond gem. The girl also noticed angelic choir music playing from the chest.

"Ahhhhh..."

"We did it guys, and this music is very impressive." Phoebe teared up. She then picked up the key and ran to the locked door. She inserted the key in the lock and turned it. The door opened ajar and everyone cheered loudly. Angelic choir music still played in the background.

Everyone stopped cheering when the worker who explained about the room walked in. From the looks of it, the worker had a big impressed smile on his face. He walked to the chest, "Before you ask, this chest has angelic music sound effects. Watch."

The worker closed the chest and the angelic music stopped. He then opened the chest making the music play again before shutting it closed again. The zodiacs blinked in surprise.

"I need a chest like that," Colin whispered to Pete and Skyler. Skyler made his hand interact with his forehead.

The worker chuckled and gestured the zodiacs to the door, "Come with me."

The zodiacs exchanged glances with each other before they left the room with the worker. They ended up arriving at the same hallway. The worker turned to the group. "Not only you beat the escape room for less than an hour but I am pleased to say that you guys broke the elderly ladies' record!"

"W-w-we did?!?!" Aika stuttered.

"I guess time goes fast when you're having fun." Vivian smiled, giving Alyssa and Tahlia a tight group hug. Sienna later joined the three girls in the hug. Alyssa sighed.

"You did, and for a reward, you earn a sticker," the worker smile, giving everyone a red sticker with the words 'I BET AN ESCAPE ROOM'.

"Fun. This gives me memories to Year 1." Skyler sighed.

Everyone else chuckled at Skyler's comment. The worker waved goodbye to the zodiacs and walked off to help and supervise other visitors.

"There's still time for the sunset. So I say we shop around at the mall and dine at a restaurant before the sunset arrives." Vivian replied, "We should head off now."

•.:°×═⭐ 🌟═×°:.• (Zoe and Bob are dancing under the stars. Seriously, these two have a better love life than me.)

[SOON]

Time past and now it is almost sunset. The zodiacs have just arrived at a pretty looking beach with clear waters and light coloured sand, ready to be trampled onto. Next to the beach was a lookout area with wooden planked stairs leading to it.

Vivian raced ahead on the stairs, laughing. She then paused and looked down at her friends, who are making their way carefully up the stairs, "Hurry up you guys!"

"And I suddenly thought Alyssa was supposed to say that," Sam smirked.

Vivian rolled her eyes, "That doesn't mean I am her. Now at this pace, we're gonna miss the sunset."

The girl then continued running up the stairs. Her friends exchanged glances with each other before racing up the stairs with her.

When they got to the top, they were greeted by wooden planked flooring with a bench and glass fencing. The group sauntered over to the fencing and were astonished by what lay in front of them:

A beautiful sunset painted in the colours of red, orange and yellow stood in front of them. the bright large orb reflected in the ocean as it slowly went down. The zodiacs gasped in admiration, their eyes filled with wonder.

"It's.....beautiful!" Giselle gasped.

"I regret myself for saying this, but it is way better than staring at our devices."

"That's natures beauty for you. Sure we can search it up, but witnessing the real thing is a lot better," Vincent explained, "Now let's head home."

Cameron embraced Vincent with a friendly hug from behind. "Can't we watch the sunset a little longer?"

Vincent did not shrug the male off, "Fine."

An so the group continued watching the magnificent sunset in front of them. After the sun had set, the group made their way back to the bus and made their way home. It was, as Vincent and Vivian both hoped, a success 'No-Device-Day'.
