     Aries' pov

And all of a sudden, the world around me was blurry and shaky.

Trying to suck in a breath of air was useless; everything seemed useless right now. But just when I got used to feeling Taurus' warm lips against mine combined with the shaking world around me, he pulled back.

He was staring down at me, seemingly just as confused as I was. If that really was true, I didn't know, but what I did know was that his face had the same tomato-color as mine.

Silence made every second last longer, especially now. We were just staring at each other, without moving, as Taurus' hands softly held my arms. It felt really weird, somehow, and that's when I realized neither of us had said anything in a while. I slowly averted my gaze from his eyes to the ground – very aware of the red color spreading further out over my face – and I mumbled the first thing coming to mind.

'Eh...'

Crap.

Luckily, Taurus seemed to be able to find his words. 'Any chance "Eh" translates to "I won't hit you for doing that and let's talk about it and continue", maybe?' he asked, slightly smiling and that slight smile persuaded me to get a smile on my face too. 'I j-just – I mean – you know – I-I – you know what, I don't even know any more, but yes, it's a positive sentence in that way.'

I could literally see his expression change in relief, and somehow, that made me feel relieved too. I had to get my words together; I had to get myself together. 'Yeah, we should really talk about,' I mumbled, looking back up at him.

'Well, so –'

'ARIES!'

Both of us turned our heads to my door at the same time, and while my mind tried to recall everything that'd happened in the last ten minutes, I slowly walked up to the door. 'Damn you Gemini, for calling out my name every time a situation like this occurs,' I cursed my sister under my breath, before I flashed Taurus an apologizing look and disappeared to the living room. 'You better have the best reason ever to call me here, Gemstone,' I snapped at her, but the reaction she gave to that told me she indeed had the best reason ever.

She looked at me with a tad of frustration in her eyes, before she rushed over to the hall and I heard the front door open a second later. 'Watch Pisces, just ask her!' my younger sister called back to me as the sound of the door slamming close was the last I heard.

I turned around, now noticing what I'd missed when I walked over here: Pisces sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. My stomach turned upside down – something bad was going on. And whenever something bad was going on, people were going to pay.

'Pisces? What's going on?' I asked her, already fearing the worst situation. My twin didn't respond, all she did was slightly shaking her head, causing me to realize this was probably worse than I thought. I sat down next to her and waited for anything to happen. This took about another five minutes; in the meantime, Taurus came up to the living room and asked what was going on, after I settled him in one of our chairs, Gemini returned with Virgo right after her.

The moment Virgo came in, it seemed like the seconds after it were going by in a flash. One moment, I was staring at the two people standing in the door opening, the next moment Virgo was sitting next to Pisces and my twin sister finally agreed to looking up.

Now that I could see her face, I knew I was right about people going to pay. Her eyes were bloodshot from crying, and speaking about tears, I could still see a few ones leaving her cheeks.

The room suddenly turned deathly silent. I was, just as anyone else in the room, staring at Pisces, and while I was now too shocked to even say anything, inside my head, a plan started to form itself against whoever was responsible for this. It seemed I wasn't the only one interested in the story behind this, because Virgo asked, on his typical Virgo-way – softly, interested, but still with a lingering hint that he'll murder whoever was responsible for hurting his girlfriend – : 'Pisces, sweety, can you tell us what happened?'

Another silence arose and I suddenly started to get very sick of all the silences I had to experience today, but fortunately for me, Pisces didn't take long with her words.

'S-Scorpio.'

Behind me, Gemini let out a gasp. I think I heard Taurus mumble something, but I didn't quite catch it due to a mysterious beep echoing through my head all of a sudden. It was as if I lost sight, and all I could think of was going to his stupid apartment right now and kick that boy's ass.

Apparently, I'd stood up. I only noticed this when I felt Gem's hand on my shoulder, combined with a warning look in her eyes, meaning something as "Not yet. Let's first hear the story before we both go and kill that bastard".

Pisces sniffed softly, while she closed her eyes and another tear left her eye. She was shaking a bit, but after a few seconds, she got herself back and started to continue her story again: 'I-I bumped i-into him, a-and he said... he just...' Pisces pressed her lips together, and instead of going on talking, her shaking left hand reached for the sleeve of her shirt and slowly pulled it up, revealing a red mark that easily could be compared to the red color of fire. It lit up from her arm, and after we all redeemed ourselves from the shock, many things happened at the same time.

'I'M GONNA MURDER THAT BOY!' I roared, as I finally let my anger go free. 'I wanna help! Can I get the shovel from downstairs?' Gem responded, her innocent tone lasting but now combined with a fiery passion. Pisces had gone back to softly crying again and mumbling she was fine, but just as I wanted to discuss the plan with Gem, we were stopped by Virgo.

'Aries, don't.'

'Virgo,' I stated, already ready to start an argument with him, 'that petty little asshole will pay for what he did.' 'I know,' Virgo said, and something in his eyes changed while he stood up from the couch. 'Only I will be the one doing the damage.'

'Hell yes!' I yelled, as my attitude came back and I stomped up to the door, followed by the gang behind me.

Somehow, the entire plan I made up in my head disappeared and all I wanted to do now, was to get Scorpio as dead as possible. The moment I opened the door, was the moment I got distracted yet again. It was as if there was already a Chaos going on; Capricorn and Aqua were arguing about whether aliens existed or not, Cancer was giving side-commentary to what they were saying with Sag snickering at every comment and Scorpio and Leo stood on the other side of the hall. The moment I stepped into the hallway, I immediately got everyone's attention, and whether they knew what was going or not, I was just going to murder Scorpio right on the spot.

The next silence had occurred, but luckily, I was here to do something about it. But first, some other enemy had to be yelled at. 'Well, well, well. Of course you had to be involved in this, Furface,' I spat at Leo, at which she narrowed her eyes with a mean smile planted on her lips. 'You didn't realize that, Dwarf? Whatever you're planning on doing, go ahead. You should just realize that it won't matter anything.'

'You have no idea what's going on, have you?' I hissed at her, and when she raised one of her nasty little eyebrows, I pointed over at Pisces. 'Your damn boyfriend over there hurt my little twin sis, so if you'd just politely get out of my freaking way, then I can just –'

'Aries, that's enough.'

After all those years, it still surprised me how Virgo could keep the calm in his voice, even if he was pissed as hell. But, well, I had to say, that same calm made me silent again and I stepped aside.

He didn't just sound calm, he also looked calm – he was calm, in his being, in everything. He walked past me, until he was standing in the end of the hall, right in front of Scorpio, and from the corner of my eye I saw the people on the other side of the hall getting slightly closer to us. Although, slightly – I could soon already see Cancer standing next to Pisces and Sagittarius moving over to Gem.

To my surprise, wait, to everyone's surprise, Scorpio was the one to start the conversation.

'It seems we haven't met before, have we? If I may be so polite to introduce myself –' 'I've heard enough about you to know you already,' Virgo stated. 'Scorpio, isn't it?' 'That indeed is correct, but I am afraid I am clueless of your name,' the dark-haired boy responded. Suddenly, I noticed how he was practically the same as Virgo, in about everything; the way he spoke, the way he could be silent – heck, they were even the same height. The only difference was that Virgo was a neutral. Scorpio clearly was not.

'My name is Virgo,' Virgo said. 'I don't assume your friend over there told me anything about my presence in this place?' 'Don't answer it, Leo,' Scorpio quickly reacted when Furface wanted to open her mouth, all the while keeping his eyes set on Virgo. 'Virgo, hm? Now, would you be so kind to tell me, why exactly are you so frustrated about this little subject?'

'If frustrated seems the right word to use for you,' was all Virgo said back, and even though I kept thinking to myself why neither of them would just curse the other, both of them kept their polite, yet with a dangerous tone.

'Frustrated indeed was the right term came to mind, yes. Anything peculiar you'd like to add?'

'Certainly, and with that, I would like to ask you to stop avoiding the subject. I believe I was first to ask you a question.'

'That might be, but I was second. Now, that may not change anything about the order of numbers and ranks, but I would really like to point out that my question begs for an immediate answer.' A dangerous spark lit up in Scorpio's eyes, as he continued his sentence: 'Would you care to give me an answer to that, Virgo?'

It took a moment for Virgo to answer his last question. And when he answered, I knew the end of this polite discussion was coming to an end, due to the low tone in Virgo's voice.

'You know very well what the answer is, Scorpio.'

A playful frown appeared on Scorpio's face. 'Oh, really? Could that answer by any chance be that a special person to you accidently got hurt, due to being a weak, useless, pathetic and, not to leave out, disappointing pain in the arse?'

Even Virgo had his lines. And those lines were crossed.

Before I knew what was happening, Virgo had taken at least two steps forwards, going from being calm to actually looking like he could do some serious damage. Scorpio reacted to it with a sly grin, taking the same steps Virgo had, only taking it a bit further. His right hand formed itself in a fist as his arm rose, ready for one next move. And that move came when Virgo decided to take another step.

We all saw him fall.

The clenched fist hit his nose, a painful spot to be hit, but all the power behind that fist made him fall over and hit the ground. I heard Pisces shriek, I saw Aquarius grabbing Cap's arm with a frightened look in her eyes, and I think I only realized after seeing those things that I had grabbed Taurus hand.

He had fallen. His eyes gazed up to his opponent, calm changing into fear, as the first calm looking boy was now anything but calm.

We were all shocked to see him fall. But I guess we were even more in shock when we realized Virgo was the one to punch.

Scorpio didn't move from his spot on the ground for a few seconds, seconds in which I grinned in triumph, but as soon as those seconds were over, Scorpio's fear had turned into a passionate anger.

'You,' he growled, quickly standing up as he got ready to stomp right over to Virgo, 'you son of a –'

'Scorpio? What is going on here?'

Now, there wasn't a single person in the hallway who wasn't surprised and slightly confused by the woman standing behind Scorpio, clearly coming from the stairs. Her eyes gazed from her son to the rest of us, and we all knew acting innocent was the key to surviving this. Even Scorpio knew that.

'Nothing, mum,' Scorpio stated, and he turned around to face her. 'I was just making some friends here.' His mother was, next to Gemini, the must gullible person I'd ever met. Instead of frowning and saying "No, something is going on" she smiled and said: 'Oh, that's great! Your dad and I finished early, so looks like I have time to make you dinner after all! You can come in a few minutes, just be on time for dinner, okay?'

She walked away, and within seconds she'd disappeared into apartment 23. Scorpio huffed, before following his mother. Before he closed the apartment door behind him, he sent out one last look, a look only meant for one of us.

"This isn't over."

And without even looking, I knew Virgo's answer to it.

"As you wish."
