Prologue

     Libra's pov

'Meep! Meep!'

Well, life certainly didn't care about my sleeping cycle.

'Meep! Meep!'

I opened my eyes slowly, squinting as I was exposed to a bright light. That light was, however, taken away slightly when a large shadow moved over my head. The contours I could see formed into a recognizable face, and the sound repeated itself.

'Meep! Meep!'

And as I added everything together in this situation, I realized this wasn't my alarm – although the sound was fairly close to it – and I didn't have to wake up yet. Although, that was my opinion. The meeping shadow above me seemed to be thinking something entirely else.

'Meep! Mee-'

Before the sound could continue ruining my morning, I pushed my hand up, covering the mouth of the shadow – of whom I finally knew who it was.

'Sag?' I mumbled, rubbing my eyes with my free hand. My thoughts were confirmed when my brother, still a vague shadow, proceeded to lick my hand and raised from his spot on my bed. 'Meep! Morning, Lib! So, what did you think? Did Gem teach me how to imitate an alarm or what?'

'Too – much – information – it's too early –' I groaned, but then shot up and looked at him shocked. 'Wait, is it early? What time is it?' 'Don't get mad,' Sag started, jumping back to the door before opening it and smirking widely. 'Five in the morning!'

'Sagittarius! Get back here!' I yelled. My voice sounded like I was dying – which I practically was – and I stumbled to the hallway, walking in on my happy brother. 'Come on, Lib! We're celebrating that I officially moved back from Virgo!' he shouted, dancing through the hall as he moved over to the living room. 'What?' I muttered, and I covered up a yawn as I followed him.

In the living room, I noticed I wasn't the only one who'd gotten an early visit from Sag. Taurus was playing Mario Kart on our couch, a plate of pizzetthi in front of him and a sleepy look in his eyes. He looked up lazily, nodded once as a greet and moved back to the screen, while Sag ran back into the room.

'Dad forgot to take my stuff from Virgo's place when we moved out, so I picked it up this night, and now I'm officially back!' Sag laughed, and quickly moved around me to jump on the couch. 'And, the best news, now that dad's gone...' He couldn't continue his sentence, because Taurus pulled him down on the couch and covered his mouth with his hand, but pulled back hissing when Sag licked his hand as well, and he shot up in enthusiasm.

'...we both finally have our own room!'

Sag was pulled down by a cursing Taurus again, while I just sighed and walked over to the kitchen. Brothers or not, they sure could be the worst sometimes. But at least I wouldn't have to share classes with both of them at the same time.

Without really paying attention to what I was doing, I took out a plate and opened the fridge mindlessly. Sag, Taurus and I had, a couple of days after moving in, begged our parents to transfer us to Orbis High, the school the others attended. After a lot of discussions between mum and dad – of course combined with many "Don't-you-Alice-me-Bob" – dad finally gave in and let us transfer. Sag shared classes with Cap and Gemini, while Tau and I were stuck with the others. Sure it would be great, I thought when I made my way back to the living room, this time with a plate filled with cold pancakes, but it surely would also be a lot to take in.

I walked in on Taurus and Sagittarius furiously building their own pillow fort, fighting over the many pillows in the room and judging each other based on the structure and looks of the others' fort.

I smiled as I watched them. Yeah, my brothers were the worst sometimes, but they were also the best I could've ever asked for.

Barely a second later, a pillow hit my head hard, causing the two in the middle of the room to laugh, and me to sigh as I grabbed the pillow of the floor and ended up with the two of them pinning me down, throwing the many pillows through the room as I tried to break free.

Okay, maybe not the best I could've asked for.
