It was a school day and everyone was in class. On one side of the classroom there were the girls, Aquarius, Libra, Scorpio, Taurus, Pisces, and Cancer. On the other side of the room there were the guys, Leo, Aries, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Capricorn. For some reason the boys and the girls had an invisible barrier between them and they would never dare to talk to each other during class, or even outside of school. I guess you could say that it was like a rule that they couldn't hang out. But there were two that would frequently disobey this imaginary rule, Leo and Aquarius. Although, they knew that if anyone were to find out about their secret meetings, they'd become outcasts, they didn't care. But how did they meet? Well, Leo worked in a diner, and one time, Aquarius was eating there by herself. By some odd chance, he was her waiter and they absolutely had no choice but to talk.

Leo said shyly, "um...hey Aquarius. I'm your waiter..."

Aquarius was shocked, but she was also hungry so she replied kindly, "oh, okay. Cool I guess. I'll get the chicken fingers with a small side of fries."

"Okay, I'll be right back with your food."

"Wait, there's one more thing. It's actually a question."

Leo was very curious at this point because he wanted to know what this girl, who had never said a word to him before, was suddenly going to ask him. "Yes?"

"Why don't the boys and girls talk? Don't you think it's strange?"

Now that Leo thought about it, it was kind of strange, so he nodded his head. "Yeah, but I have to get back to work. Can you come by when my shift is over at 5?"

"Um, sure...but why?"

"I just want to talk and all."

So Aquarius came back at 5 and they went to the park. Aquarius sat on the swing, while Leo pushed her gently while they just talked. Finally, they had to go home, so Leo walked Aquarius back to her house. After that, they decided to meet everyday at the park at exactly 5:15, so Leo would have time to walk there after his shift ended, and they became really good friends. They actually ended up developing feelings for each other, but neither of them had the courage to admit it.

A month after talking to each other for the first time, they were in the park as usual. Today was the day that Leo had finally decided to confess, even though he was freaking out on the inside, hoping that things wouldn't go wrong. Aquarius arrived and she saw Leo pacing back and forth.

"Leo, what's wrong with you? Why are you pacing?"

"There's something I need to tell you Aqua, something that I've been wanting to tell you since the first day we met."

"What is it?"

"I-I...um...like you." 'Phew, that's finally over with,' Leo thought to himself.

Aquarius was in complete shock and she was flabbergasted. "You do? Me?"

Leo slowly nodded his head. He thought that this was a bad sign and he didn't think that she liked him back.

"Oh my gosh Leo. Are you telling the truth?" Aquarius asked, still in denial. She actually thought that this was some sort of prank.

"Aqua, trust me. I really do like you."

She ran up to him and embraced him tightly. "I like you too."

After hugging for about 30 seconds, they finally pulled away. "Aqua, one more thing. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course Leo, of course. But what will our friends think?"

"I don't know, but we have to tell them. We'll do that tomorrow." Then, for the rest of the night they just hung out. 'This is the best day ever,' both of them thought to themselves. When the next day came, they told the class, and everyone was super happy.

"We can finally talk to the girls!!!!" the guys yelled while fist bumping each other.

"We can finally get boyfriends!!!!" the girls screamed while jumping up and down happily.

The invisible barrier was finally broken and soon, everyone in class was friends, no matter what gender they were.
