"Whose idea was this?" asked Taurus who was carrying most of the stuff.

"Capricorn," replied everyone else. Capricorn planned a picnic for everyone. They were current walking up a large hill.

"I think it was a great idea," said Sagittarius.

"Here's a good spot," said Cancer.

Taurus put all the stuff down. They were next to a huge river. Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, Aquarius, Libra, Capricorn and Virgo set up the food and blanket for their picnic. Virgo, Aries, Sagittarius and Capricorn sat together, Taurus, Scorpio, Gemini and Leo sat together and Libra, Aquarius, Pisces and Cancer sat together.

"Ugh school tomorrow," said Aries.

Sagittarius froze. "What's going on tomorrow?"

"Our surprise assignment," replied Capricorn.

Virgo groaned. "Oh no."

"They're not that bad," said Sagittarius.

"Last time we had a surprise assignment, we had to write our own song and sing it to the rest of the class," said Aries.

Virgo cringed at the memory. "It was horrible."

"It isn't if you can sing," said Sagittarius.

"It is if you can't sing."

Aries stretched. "Hopefully we get to do something sporty."

Capricorn rolled his eyes. "It's language class, not P.E class."

"Good point. We should go to P.E instead."

Sagittarius nodded. "Good idea Aries."

"Well, the teacher was laughing when she told us we had an assignment so it's probably bad," said Virgo.

"I love how it's so sunny outside," said Capricorn.

Aries and Sagittarius got up, walked over to a tree and climbed it.

"What is it with the fire signs and Gemini and climbing trees?" asked Virgo.

Capricorn shrugged. "We're the earth signs so you'd think we'd be the ones that enjoy tree climbing."

"Why are Aries and Sagittarius in a tree?" asked Pisces.

Libra didn't even bother looking up as she ate her sandwich. "Who knows. They do basically whatever they want."

Pisces glanced at the river. It didn't look too cold. "Who wants to go swimming later?"

"No one brought their swimsuits," said Cancer.

Aquarius shrugged. "Oh well. We can still go berry picking or something."

Pisces finished eating, got her drawing book and started to draw.

Cancer and Aquarius started laughing. Leo was getting ready to scare Libra.

Libra turned around and kissed him. Leo fell down from surprise. "I need to try to scare you more often." He made a missy face at Libra who lightly slapped his lips.

"Let's remind her not to watch a horror movie alone with him," joked Aquarius.

Leo gave up bothering people and went back to eating his food.

"Let's get dessert now!" said Libra.

"Ooh! What's for dessert?" asked Pisces.

Aquarius picked a cheesecake out of one of the bags. "Virgo picked up a cheesecake. I think that she's secretly obsessed with cheesecake."

Cancer served cheesecake to everyone. He forgot about Aries and Sagittarius in the tree.

"We should listen to some music," suggested Leo.

Scorpio rolled his eyes. "Leo and his love for music."

"Hey! Once I caught you dancing to love songs," said Leo. Taurus and Gemini laughed.

Gemini licked the crumbs from his plate. "Leo's music is all the same old love songs."

Leo crossed his arms. "Is not! Some songs are really cool songs."

"Leo likes cool music?" asked Taurus.

"Yeah," replied Leo. Taurus tossed him a pair of sunglasses.

"What is it with you and sunglasses?" asked Scorpio.

Taurus pulled his sunglasses to the bridge of his nose. "I have extremely sensitive eyes and if I don't wear sunglasses I'll die."

"Whatever. Have another pair of sunglasses?" asked Scorpio.

"Who has three pairs of sunglasses?"

Scorpio noticed Gemini was now wearing a pair of sunglasses as well. "Where the hell did Gemini get his sunglasses?!?"

"I found them in rainbow land," replied Gemini.

Taurus tossed Scorpio a pair of sunglasses. Leo played his music on blast and started dancing horribly on purpose.

"Leo listens to Beyoncé?" asked Gemini.

"I love this song!" squealed Libra who stood beside Leo and started dancing. Taurus danced with Virgo. Gemini recorded Leo and Libra doing funny dance moves on his phone. Everyone was dancing and having fun until Aries noticed something. She jumped or of the tree and stomped over to the cheesecake.

"Why didn't you tell me you had cheesecake?" asked Aries.

"The cheesecake told us it was scared of you," replied Gemini.

Aries grabbed him by the ear and pushed him in the river. Then Aries, Leo and Sagittarius smiled at each other.

"Uh oh," said Virgo.

The fire signs chased the other zodiacs and pushed them in the water. Except for Taurus, he jumped in because everyone else was in the water.

Sagittarius tapped Aries on the shoulder and she nodded. Then they pushed Leo in the river.

"I was betrayed! I always knew you guys would stab me in the back but I didn't think it would be so soon. I don't have much time-"

Libra softly slapped Leo to get him to stop talking. "Stop being so dramatic."

"I bet world war three is about to begin," said Aquarius.

Aries and Sagittarius kept trying to push each other in the water.

"I've got this." Capricorn got out of the river and pulled Sagittarius in the river with him. Aries was smiling because she "won" when Gemini pushed her in.

"Splash war!" yelled Pisces. Then everyone started splashing each other.

After a while, the zodiacs were sitting in the sun drying off. Cancer and Taurus discussed a revenge plan. Then they pushed Aries and Sagittarius back in the river.

"I'm going to hurt you," said Sagittarius.

"If you do, you two won't get your pieces of cheesecake," promised Capricorn.

Aries and Sagittarius sat back down in the sun. They decided not to cause anymore trouble.

"What do you guys want to do now?" asked Gemini.

Libra wiped her sweaty brow with the back of her hand. "How about we get some smoothies?"

Everyone agreed. Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, Aquarius, Libra, Capricorn and Virgo packed everything away. Aries and Sagittarius ate their pieces of cheesecake.

"Why can't weekends last forever?" asked Pisces.

Scorpio sighed. "I wish they could."

"I'm scared to see what assignment we have to do tomorrow," said Cancer.

Leo shrugged. "I think this time it will be fun."

"I think it will be horrible again," said Virgo.

Capricorn began walking back towards their car. "I guess we'll find out tomorrow."
