When a Cancerian starts a family (or even before, like when they're born) they're very nurturing and they nurture and pamper those they love and care for, which makes them the perfect parent for their child. Since they're already practically a parent because they protect and care and all those lovely things, they are more than capable of handling with kids and they will never use violence or hitting on their child(s).
