"Gemini! Hurry up!" Leo yells across the plane whilst leaning over her seat.

Gemini finishes jamming her suitcase into the overhead compartment and smiles sheepishly at the other passengers who are disturbed by Leo's outburst.

"Chill, child," Gemini huffs as she slides into the middle seat, next to Leo.

"Haven't had your second cup of coffee of the day?" Leo knows exactly what has her friend in a suddenly cranky mood.

"No, the line was too long at the gate," Gem sighs.

"You guys are row 12 too?" Taurus stops right in front of the girls, forking three fingers through his brown hair and grinning.

"Yeah!" Leo exclaims.

"Unfortunately," Gemini mutters under her breath. She has just realized that she will have to sit between Leo and Taurus for a full three hours—and she is not so impressed. She has placed 20 dollars in a pot, betting that they wouldn't get together until after the training trip. So now she has to just sit there, being a blockade between the two.

Gemini swivels in her seat. Sitting in the row behind them is Libra, Cancer and Scorpio. She can see Libra through the gap between her seat and Leo's.

'Help me' she mouths through the gap. Libra chuckles and points out her unfortunate situation to Cancer. Bastard, Gemini thinks.

Slowly turning back around, Gem try's to ignore the immature pair that sit on either side.

"Taurus! What the fuck? Give me back those gummy bears! Those are for the meet in two weeks!" Leo exclaims and leans over Gem to pry her stolen gummy bears out of Taurus's palm.

This is going to be a long ride, Gemini thinks to herself.

"Scorpio, this woman will not stop talking to me. I don't even know what she's saying," Capricorn says from across the aisle. She is the only one who is not sat with anyone else from the team. However, she is in the same row as Libra, Cancer and Scorpio, she is just on the other side of the plane.

"Just nod politely," Scorpio replies. Capricorn's eyes bulge out like saucers. The woman sitting next to her is speaking a foreign language, talking to her like she is an old friend.

"What if she asks me if I'm mentally deranged or something?" Capricorn asks. Scorpio smirks.

"Smile and keep nodding," she says as she pulls her short black hair into a top knot and seamlessly incorporates herself into Cancer and Libra's conversation about hot girls they met on previous swim trips.

Capricorn turns to the woman with an uneasy expression. However, just as Scorpio instructs, she smiles and nods. After a while, the foreign woman shuts up and Capricorn wistfully watches the conversation happening across the aisle.

Capricorn loves how confident Scorpio is. She loves how comfortable that girl is in her own skin. Although she has never outright said it, Capricorn thinks that Scorp likes boys more as friends. Cap tucks a strand of her bright red hair behind her ear as she listens to her best friend tell Libra and Cancer about a girl she met at a swim meet in Cygnus that wore a tech suit better than red lipstick.

Libra laughs at a joke Scorpio says, where as Cancer just smiles, shakes his head and leans back in his seat. Capricorn does love how outgoing Scorpio is, but she herself prefers to be more reserved, so she taps her temples with her acrylic nails and continues to ease drop.

Aquarius looks back at Cancer, who is talking to Libra and Scorpio, briefly. Aqua doesn't mind sitting with Aries and Pisces. In fact, it's rather amusing, because Aries always has something controversial to say and she knows how to play Pisces like a fiddle.

"So Pastel Boy," Aries begins after she finishes chewing on her red tinted lip. "Got any granola bars on you?"

"I knew you were gonna do this. That's why I brought a spare one for you," Pisces shakes his head like he can't quite believe himself. Before shoving his bag under the seat in front of him, Pisces retrieves a granola bar and hands it to Aries. She has her way with him, and she knows it.

"Gosh, this is taking forever," Aries huffs as she takes a bite out of her granola bar. "I'd suck the pilot's dick just to get a move on."

"Aries! Shut up before someone hears you," Pisces scolds.

"What? Does it make you uncomfortable, Pastel Boy," she grins as she takes another bite from her snack. Pisces only shakes his head and turns to look out the window. Aquarius does find their antics quite entertaining.

"Taur, I told you before: Your. Asshole. Is. Not. Funny," Leo teases across the aisle, right before she bursts out into her boisterous laughter. Her curly hair is tamed in a low ponytail and she has smoothed her baby hairs over her scalp.

Aquarius tries not to look so invested in their conversation. Truthfully, he's nursed a crush on Leo since they both had a love for the 100 meter breaststroke, before she decided that she preferred the sprint freestyle events. She is just so outspoken and confident and it draws Aquarius in. He knows this crush is unrequited and it used to make his heart wrench.

Especially since Taurus and Leo kindled a friendship and it became blatantly obvious, to everyone but them, that they were infatuated with each other.

But Aquarius notices how happy Leo is. She always smiled like there was sunshine between her teeth, but now it's like there are entire galaxies.

Aquarius also notices that his chest doesn't feel like it's twisting in a million ways this time. Instead, he seems to find Aries and Pisces more interesting after a while. He smoothly enters his seat mates's conversation about the scandalous TV show Aires has taken to watching.

Virgo and Sagittarius sit awkwardly next to each other. They are separated from the rest of the group, all the way at the back of the plane.

Sagittarius scratches the back of his neck and Virgo can see a scar on his wrist in her peripheral. She remembers the day he came to practice when that wound was fresh. Blood lowly leaked out of it and there were still granules of gravel stuck in the edges.

Virgo flew into a nursing frenzy that day. At first she though Sagittarius was self harming. But as she pulled the first aid kit out of the depths of coach Ophiuchus's office, he explained that his bad-influence friends and him were jumped by some of their rivals and he cut his wrist breaking through a window. The matching scratches on his knuckles and the gravel in his wounds drew Virgo to the conclusion he was telling the truth.

That day Virgo ended up disinfecting his cut and patching it up with gauze. She was convinced he needed to go to the hospital, but both Sagittarius and Coach Ophiuchus insisted he was fine.

Since then Virgo has worried that Sag will come to practice with a wound much bigger than that one. It only seems to be little scratches at the moment. The newest one is across his eyebrow, which has mostly scabbed now. She noticed it at practice that morning.

"How did you get that cut, on your eyebrow?" Virgo asks once she has built up the courage.

Sagittarius flinches when she speaks. For a seconds, it looks like he is going to tell her the truth. Gosh, he wishes he could tell her the truth.

"Oh, it's nothing," he says instead.
