It was night time. Leo was sitting on the couch when the door opened.

"Hey, I'm back," said Phoenix. She held Calypso in her arms.

"Meow," the cat started looking around.

"Wait! How do we know you're the real Phoenix?" asked Leo.

Phoenix shrugged. "Uh... ask me a question."

"Hmm... who is Hydra's best friend?" asked Leo.

"Definitely not Sagittarius," replied Phoenix. "Also I have the key to the house."

"Okay I believe you," said Leo.

"Mommy!" the Pegasus ran in the room. She looked curiously at Leo.

"It's okay sweetie. He's Mommy's friend," said Phoenix.

"What's your name?" asked Pegasus.

"Leo," replied Leo.

"Oh. Momma talks about you a lot," said Pegasus.

"Oh really? What does she say?" asked Leo.

"She said you were... ir-wrist-spoon-sibul," said Pegasus.

"Irresponsible?" asked Leo.

"Yeah!" cheered Pegasus.

"Okay, that's enough Pegasus sweetie," said Phoenix.

"Meow!"

"KITTY!" Scorpio ran over and picked Calypso up. She was dressed head to toe in black.

"Where are you going?" asked Phoenix.

"For a walk," replied Scorpio.

"Hey Scorpy? Ready to find our friends?" asked Virgo who walked up the stairs. Phoenix crossed her arms.

"RUN BEFORE SHE CAN STOP US!" screamed Scorpio. Then Aries, Gemini and Sagittarius ran up the basement stairs and followed Virgo and Scorpio out the door, all covered in black clothing.

"WAIT FOR ME!" screamed Leo who chased after them.

Taurus, Libra, Capricorn and Pisces were in the living room.

"At least Sagittarius finally got out of bed," said Libra.

"What do you think they're going to do?" asked Capricorn.

"Scorpio told me they're going to look for Cancer and Aquarius," said Pisces.

"I'm just worried that they'll get caught too," said Phoenix.

"Well, Scorpio is leading them so they stand a chance," said Capricorn.

Taurus crossed her arms. "I really hope they find Aquarius and Cancer. I wanted to go look, but Capricorn wouldn't let me since she's trying to keep me and Virgo away from each other."

"You haven't stopped arguing the entire time we've been here. Earlier you two argued over who Aquarius likes more!" said Capricorn.

"It wasn't THAT bad," said Taurus.

"You said, "he chose to love me but you're like a parasite to him, annoying and hard to get rid of" and then Virgo said "he only loves you because he pities your ugliness" so I'd say it was kind of bad," explained Capricorn.

"I'm not ugly, Virgo's blind," pouted Taurus.

"What should we do while we're waiting? I'm worried about Gemini," said Pisces.

"Meow."

Libra picked Calypso up and petted her. "Let's make cookies!"

"I have heart shaped cookie cutters if you want to make heart shaped cookies," said Phoenix.

"Perfect! Now we don't have to shoo the troubled ones away!" said Pisces.

"You steal cookie dough too," said Taurus.

"What? No I don't!" said Pisces who tried to act innocent.

"Yes you do," said Libra.

"Fine. But let's bake them before the others get back. That way there will be less people to fend off," said Pisces. Than Capricorn, Taurus, Pisces and Libra went into the kitchen.

"I spy with my little eye something that is... BLACK!" said Aquarius.

"The floor?" guessed Cancer.

"No."

"The walls?"

"No."

"Your hair?"

"No."

"The chairs?"

"No."

"The ropes?"

"No."

"Your soul?"

"No."

"The mysterious figure standing in the corner?"

"No."

"WHAT?" asked Hydra. Then she turned her head to see a guy wearing a black hoodie in the corner.

"I brought food," Then he walked forward. "Open up."

Cancer squeezed her mouth shut and refused to eat anything.

"Fine, have it your way." Then he walked over to Aquarius. Aquarius hesitantly opened his mouth. The mysterious guy slipped a pill in his mouth and poured a bit of water down Aquarius' throat.

"What does that pill do?" asked Aquarius.

"It satisfies your hunger for twenty four hours. It also doesn't make you produce waste material so you won't have to go use the washroom."

"Woah. How did you get something so advanced?" asked Cancer.

"I have my ways," Then he walked over to Hydra and grinned. "I haven't seen you in a while. I heard I wasn't invited to your wedding."

"You know EXACTLY why I didn't invite you. I refuse to eat your stupid pill!" growled Hydra.

"You have such pretty turquoise hair," then he played with a strand of hair before exiting the room.

It was almost midnight. Scorpio's gang were prowling the streets.

"I'm a ninja!" said Aries since the only part of her not covered in black was her eyes.

"Where are we going?" asked Leo.

"Someone put something black over Leo, he's too noticeable," ordered Scorpio. Sagittarius took off his black hoodie since he was wearing a black shirt underneath. Leo took it and zipped it up.

"Do you know where they are?" asked Virgo.

"Of course she does, she's Scorpio," said Sagittarius.

"I'm a ninja!" repeated Aries.

"Me, Gemini and Virgo are breaking into the police station. There's some records I'd like to see. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, check the abandoned building near the junk yard," ordered Scorpio.

"But that place burnt down twenty years ago," said Gemini.

"I'm a ninja!" said Aries, again.

"Okay, ninja is coming with us," said Leo.

Aries stuck her thumb up. "Ninja approves!"

"I heard there's a hidden basement there," said Scorpio. Then Virgo, Gemini and Scorpio ran off one way while Leo, Aries and Sagittarius went the other way.

  Scorpio's group were standing outside the police station under a window.

"The records should be in there," said Scorpio.

"How are we breaking in?" asked Gemini.

"I'll sneak in. When the officer in that room leaves, Virgo is going to crawl in there and look for this. When you escape throw one of these," Then Scorpio handed Virgo a list and a few spheres with stems on the top. "I need Gemini to come with me and throw this when we're running away." Scorpio also handed Gemini a few spheres with little stems on the top. Then Scorpio and Gemini ran towards the front entrance.

Virgo peeked in the window. All of the sudden coloured smoke filled the hallway. The police officer pulled out his taser and ran out of the room. Virgo tried to open the window but it was locked. Of course it is! Then Virgo made a huge pointy rock rise out of the ground. He made it crash against the glass and shattered it. A shield of vines protected Virgo from the glass pieces. Woah. Without that bracelet, I can do so much more! Then Virgo climbed in the window.

Virgo logged into the computer using the password Scorpio provided him. He heard police chasing after Scorpio and Gemini. He hoped that they'd be alright. He followed the directions that Scorpio gave him. His phone vibrated. He was running out of time.

Virgo scanned through the criminal records until he found one. The name was deleted. Virgo took screen shots of the police record. All the chaos in the hallway stopped and Virgo heard footsteps. Virgo quickly closed all the tabs and logged off the computer and threw his smoke bombs.

When the policeman walked into the room, all he saw was coloured smoke. After it faded a bit, he saw a hooded figure (Virgo) jump out of the window. He ran over to the window but the hooded figure was gone.

Scorpio, Gemini and Virgo returned to Phoenix's house. They smelled something good in the kitchen and decided to check it out.

"What did you guys do?" asked Taurus.

"Illegally screen shotted some records," replied Virgo.

"You WHAT?" asked Capricorn.

"I think I found the guy that has Cancer and Aquarius," replied Scorpio.

"Show us!" demanded Libra.

"His record says that he stole trillions of dollars worth of top secret technology from the government. Most of it is simulation related," explained Gemini.

"So, he has technology that puts you in a simulation?" asked Pisces.

"Correct!" replied Scorpio. "But I discovered something else too. I found out that a major scientific company lost a specific weapon that interested me. They were creating little collars, once you wear them around your neck, the owner can control you. Our government planned on using these in the event of a Third World War to get prisoners to talk willingly."

"So you think he has collars that can control people?" asked Libra.

"That's what I think," said Scorpio.

"I'm impressed that you figured all this out. You're are a genius!" said Taurus.

"Yeah. She's starting to show me up as the smart Zodiac," said Capricorn.

"Don't be too hard on yourself. I only know all this from spying," said Scorpio.

"But you also planned everything out. I'm glad I'm on your side!" said Gemini.

"But how did you- maybe I shouldn't ask," said Virgo.

"So, at least now we know more about our enemy. What's his name?" asked Pisces.

"There is none. His file was under "unknown." It's strange that they couldn't find his name," said Virgo.

"Then maybe he's a constellation like us if the police couldn't find any records with his name on them when they arrested him," said Gemini.

"He also broke out of jail within four and a half hours, so he's pretty clever too," said Virgo.

"Wait, where's the fire signs?" asked Taurus.

"They're not back yet," replied Gemini.

"Eww! It reeks! The dump smells pretty bad too," said Aries.

"Are you saying that I smell?" asked Leo.

"Of course you do! Everyone smells through their nose," replied Aries.

"There's the abandoned building Scorpio was talking about," said Sagittarius. Then fire signs ran forward.

It was a platform with lots of pieces of burnt wood and debris.

"Let me try something," said Sagittarius. Then he stretched out his hands and concentrated. Fire grew from his fingertips and shot forward at the abandoned building. All of the sudden everything caught on fire. Leo and Aries stepped back before remembering that they couldn't burn. Then Sagittarius dropped his arms and the fire disappeared. All of the wood and debris were gone.

"Woah. It's clean. Just like that," said Aries.

"I didn't know we could make a fire like that," said Leo.

"We don't have our bracelets, remember?" asked Sagittarius.

"So they really did seal away our powers," said Aries.

"I wonder why Hydra did that," said Leo. Then the fire signs walked around a bit.

"Trap door!" announced Aries. Sagittarius and Leo walked forward and froze in place.

"Aries, listen to me okay?" asked Leo.

"What?" asked Aries.

"Put up a fire shield! NOW!" screamed Leo. Then Aries made a fire shield the surrounded her. All of the sudden black mist swirled around the fire and put it out. A figure wearing a black cloak stood not too far away from Aries.

"Combine our powers!" shouted Sagittarius. Then all three fire signs put their powers together to make a super strong fire shield that swirled around them. Black mist grew and started slowly weakening the fire shield.

"WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" shouted Leo.

"Go! Now!" ordered Sagittarius.

"What?" asked Leo.

"You go first, Aries will be right behind you, then I'll run. But you have to go now or you'll screw us all!" announced Sagittarius. Leo didn't think twice before darting away. The fire shield started disappearing faster.

"NOW!" screamed Sagittarius. Aries started running away. Then the black mist slammed into the fire shield, getting rid of the entire thing.

"Are you ready to join your friends?" asked a woman's voice.

"Not today!" shouted Sagittarius. Then he made a fire sword grow in one hand and a fire shield (like a shield that knights use, not one that surrounds him) in the other. Sagittarius was surprised that he was grabbing onto real fire.

The cloaked figure made a bigger sword out of black mist. Then she ran forward and swung at Sagittarius. Sagittarius blocked the attack with his fire shield. The fire shield suddenly disappeared. Then the hooded figure swung her black mist sword at Sagittarius. Sagittarius put all his power into blocking the attack with his fire sword. No matter how strong he tried to make his fire, the mist was stronger. Then the cloaked figure stabbed the black mist sword into Sagittarius' arm and he passed out right away.

Aries was running away when she tripped on an old tire. She turned around and saw the cloaked figure walking towards her. Sagittarius was floating behind her, held up by a bunch of black mist.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" shrieked Aries. Aries tried to stand up but she couldn't put pressure on her injured leg.

"Why do I have to be the hero?" muttered someone as they lifted Aries up.

"Leo? Go away! She'll get you too!" demanded Aries.

"I'm not leaving without you." Then Leo ran away as fast as he could with Aries in his arms. Aries (not caring which random humans were watching) created fire barriers between them and the cloaked figure to give Leo more time. The black mist could break through fire, but it was slow and took time to put out the fire.

Aries and Leo were getting closer to Phoenix's house when Leo tripped.

"Ow! You landed on my bad leg!" hissed Aries. Leo tried to pick her up, but he was too weak from carrying her up until now. Aries stood up and hopped on her good leg. Leo put his arm around her to help her. That's when the cloaked figure reappeared in sight.

"Come on Aries, try to hop a little faster," urged Leo.

"I'm trying," said Aries who hopped as fast as she could.

Not even two minutes later black mist surrounded Aries and Leo.

"Which one is coming with me?" purred the cloaked figure.

"I am! Take me!" demanded Aries.

"No! Take me!" argued Leo.

"You're weak so it will be easy to catch you next time, so I'll take the other one instead." Then the black mist closed in around Leo and knocked him out. The cloaked figure (who was only strong enough to carry two people at a time with her black mist) smirked at Aries.

"I'm coming back for you, darling. So don't go anywhere." Then she ran away. Aries was so scared and devastated that she started sobbing as she hopped away.

Aries hopped up the stairs and banged on the door to Phoenix's house. Gemini opened the door and gasped when she saw Aries, standing on one foot, sobbing.

"Aries! What happened?" asked Gemini's panicked voice. Then she helped Aries inside and locked the door.

"She... she took them," sobbed Aries.

"Leo and Sagittarius were kidnapped too?" asked Gemini. Aries nodded.

"I-I think my... leg might be... broken," sobbed Aries.

"That means there's only eight zodiacs left!" said Gemini who was in shock. "And we're quick at getting picked off."
