Eventually the zodiacs all died. They couldn't kill the monsters and they never stood a chance.

The zodiacs were trapped in that simulation as ghosts forever.... Nah just kidding. Did I scare you for a second there? Did I? Ahahaha I'm so mean. The earth signs walked around the grey hallways. Taurus had a scythe, Capricorn had a lance and Virgo had a flamethrower. Great job guys! I can't believe you gave the most dangerous weapon to VIRGO! What were you thinking?

"I can't believe we gave the most dangerous weapon to VIRGO! What were we thinking?" asked Taurus.

"Pfft. I get a cool weapon while Cappy has a weak little wooden stick," said Virgo.

"I wouldn't call it a weak wooden stick. I think it's made out of steel. And it will do just fine for killing monsters without having to get too close," said Capricorn.

"What do the monsters even look like? I'm getting kind of scared," said Taurus.

"I don't know," replied Capricorn. Then they reached a part where the hallway branched off into three different hallways.

"Hey look! That one has a door!" said Virgo. The earth signs turned left and walked up to the door. It was golden. As soon as Capricorn touched the door knob, the door turned blue for three seconds, then it went back to gold.

"Looks like we've found a water sign room," said Capricorn. Then the earth signs turned around.

"Hey, do you think we'll meet the others in this maze? Or are we in four separate mazes?" asked Virgo.

"Virgo. How should I know? I'm not the mastermind behind all this!" replied Taurus.

Capricorn crossed her arms. "You two better not start fighting again. We might die in here and you two are still going at each other? Grow up because we need to work together."

Taurus and Virgo started clapping.

"Amazing speech! I'm so inspired!" said Virgo dramatically.

All of the sudden something appeared at the end of the hallway. It was like a koala except it was made out of steel and it had huge spiky fists.

Taurus tightened her grip on her scythe. "I think we've found our first monster."

"DIE!" A bunch of fire shot out from Aries' hand and caught her sword on fire. Then Aries stabbed a blue troll with her sword. The trolls were Cancer sized. Black blood oozed out of it. Aries's leg wasn't broken in the simulation because this wasn't her actual body. The zodiac's actual bodies were still in the room with the helmets.

"I'll kill it!" Then Sagittarius shot a fire arrow at it. The blue troll fell down and disappeared.

"BEHIND YOU!" screamed Leo. Then he jumped behind Sagittarius and stabbed a troll with his claws.

"It looks like we killed all of them," said Sagittarius.

"This is exhausting," said Aries.

Leo ran ahead of them to the part where the hallway branched off in two different directions. "Look! I found a door!"

Aries and Sagittarius caught up to Leo. The three of them turned right and ran down the hallway. Sagittarius opened the door. They walked into a room with red walls. There was three beds, a table full of food and water, and a bucket with a few cloths to clean off your weapons.

"Finally! I can wash all this black blood off of my sword!" said Aries. She walked over to the buckets and washed her sword.

"Rawr! I feel like a cat!" said Leo who caught his claws on fire and started scratching the air for fun. The fire evaporated all the blood.

"Hey. There's more arrows!" said Sagittarius. Then he took off his quiver and refilled it with arrows.

"How many trolls have we slain today?" asked Aries.

"Hmm... I'd say around ten," replied Leo. Then he stabbed his claws in the bowl of strawberries, trying  to make a kebab with them.

"Or you could do this," said Aries who walked over and popped a strawberry in her mouth like a normal person.

"What are you talking about? Kebabs are obviously the best!" Aries turned to see Sagittarius, who impaled multiple strawberries on a clean arrow.

"You guys are weird."

"No Aries! You're the only one who's not making a kebab! You're the weird one!" said Leo.

"Yeah! Actually, you're so weird that you're not allowed to eat here until we're finished eating," said Sagittarius.

Aries rolled her eyes. "I have to clean my sword anyway."

Scorpio peeped around the corner.
Her axe was ready to chop the head off the next unsuspecting monster that tries to sneak up on her. "All clear!"

Cancer and Pisces followed her. Cancer and Pisces were hesitant to kill the cute monsters that looked like animals, so Scorpio had to fight twice as hard.

The water signs heard something. Cancer took a few shurikens out of her pocket and got ready. Pisces prepared his cans of silly string. Just kidding! He had a trident that could kill monsters and it could also heal other zodiacs.

Then, a robot bear charged at them. Cancer threw a shruiken and hit it in the eye. Then Pisces ran forward, jumped up over the bear's head and stabbed his trident into it's back. Then Scorpio ran forward with her axe and chopped its head off.

"Ahhhhh!" Cancer covered her eyes so she wouldn't have to look at the decapitated bear.

"Cancer, it's okay! The bear is gone now," said Pisces.

"This axe gets heavy after carrying it for a while," said Scorpio who put her axe in her other hand.

"I'm getting better with my aim! I just wish we didn't have to kill robot animals. I feel like such a murderer!" said Cancer.

"Remember, they're not real. I don't like killing these robot animals either but they're simulations," said Pisces.

Cancer sighed. "I know but I keep forgetting that part."

"I don't want to know what's going to happen later on," said Scorpio.

"What do you mean?" asked Pisces.

"These monsters are obviously a warm up. If Hydrus wants us dead, it won't be this easy to kill them all. Surely the further we get in the maze, the more dangerous and powerful the monsters will get," explained Scorpio. Then they turned around a corner. A robot bunny about the twice the size of Cancer waited for them.

"Awww! It's a bunny!" said Cancer.

"Is that Sagittarius's bow over there?" asked Pisces.

"WHERE?!?" asked Cancer.

"Over there. Behind the bunny. I think it might to killed him!" said Pisces. Then Cancer's eyes turned angry.

"Uh oh. Here comes Moncer," said Scorpio.

Cancer threw a few shurikens at the bunny's face. Then she ran forward and started slicing it up with her shurikens. The bunny tried to smack her away with it's long ears, but Cancer was too quick.

"It's like she's an entirely new person," said Scorpio. Then Cancer stabbed the bunny's head and dug the shruiken deep enough to kill it. Black blood oozed out and the bunny disappeared.

"WHERE IS IT? WHERE'S THE BOW?" asked Cancer while shaking Pisces' shoulders.

"I-I made it up. To get you to kill the bunny!" said Pisces.

Cancer let go of Pisces. "Oh. Let's keep searching then."

The air signs were surrounded. There were seven trolls who circled around the air signs. Libra waved his hand and made a bunch of air knock some of the trolls back.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS!" Gemini smacked her mace on a troll's head, killing it instantly. Then Aquarius slashed his sword around cutting three trolls in half. The other three trolls charged at them.

Libra threw a knife in two of their legs, slowing the down. Gemini swung her mace. The spiky ball smacked the third one in the face. Ouch. Then Libra ran forward and stabbed the second troll with a knife while Aquarius cut the last one in half.

"The more we keep walking, the more we find," said Gemini.

Aquarius sat down. "That's the most we've ever faced at one time. They're easy to kill, but there's so many of them."

"As long as we don't find stronger monsters. We should be able to kill them all easily!" said Libra.

"I wish we could take the troll's clubs from them before they disappeared. That way we'd have more weapons," said Gemini. Gemini and Libra started walking forward. Aquarius got up and caught up to them. The air signs stopped and stared at the hallway to their left. Black blood was splattered everywhere.

"Look!" Aquarius ran forward and inspected a dent in the wall. "It looks like a shruiken or a knife or something was thrown here."

"That means another group was here!" said Libra.

"Come on! There's bloody black footprints going this way! It could lead us to our friends!" said Gemini. Then the air signs followed the footprints.
