Anika stops everyone else and starts speaking and begins by  thanking all of the for treating with love and respect just like she is part of the family.
They ask her why she is saying this as her tone is different,  to this anika faces Shivaay and  says " I know that all this has happened and in this few day has been different,  the strange feelings u talk about its all so overwhelming and honestly speaking I too reciprocate them but for now I can't continue with the marriage " this is a shocker for all and dadi asks her why as she said she likes Shivaay.
Anika once again  says she would love to be their daughter-in-law but she doesn't deserve it,  she tell them that she has a secret and that  she also lied to them about herself , that's when ru goes to anika and says she may have lied for saving someone or have  an important reason for lying  but her feelings and  her  time spent here was not a lie. All family members agree to rudra and tell her they don't  mind. Pinky  now goes to her and says she was not really bothered by whom Shivaay is going  but now is and says that anika is the best for Shivaay as a wife and in all senses perfect for the family.
She just look shocked at how they all  are accepting her
Shiv then speaks and tell her not to fear their class difference and status as he will make sure it will never affect their relationship and also assures her that he doesn't care about her name, blood and lineage like he used to as she changed  him.
She just then gets a call and reply 's to this immediately,  she just  shout on the phone " whom ever you are, u better know they are my life, if anything happens them I will not spare u and make your life hell do you understand?? And angrily  cuts the call.
By now everyone  is  not sure how to react and Shivaay asks her what is wrong and if he could do any thing,  Neil who was desperately trying  to call someone  walks in and ani look at him. His dejected face is read by Anika who understands what happened  while he too knows who called anika.
Before  he could say anything  anika speaks to Shivaay and  says " my life is very complicated," she quotes " love happens unexpectedly and if u fall in love your one of the lucky ones"she says her mother said this to her and explain  thatshe never understood it till now. She says she is lucky to be loved by them all and loves them all from the bottom of her heart but she can't be selfish and marry him. Shivaay then argues that he is willing to be selfish  as he wants to only marry her.
Anika now question him " Shivaay if you love someone  and u being  with them will end up taking that person's life what would  you  do, wouldn't you go away from  them? Shivaay and  everyone else is silent,  she just say I hope u got the answer and please  forgive  me" . Anika  begins to leave while Neil stay dejected and cannot do anything. 
Avni  noticed Neil's  pale face and asks him what happened,  he looks towards the door as he realised he has to stop anika but she had left . He reply to avni the there is a problem with the company and that's why he was stressed,  Shivaay asks him if he could be of some help but Neil say no one can help him.
Dadi tells Neil that everything will be  fine while he just hugs her and cries.
Avni knows that Neil lied and she puts his hand on her head and asks him to say the truth.
He now says he failed as a friend and could not protect his best friend  who is now in a deadly life taking situation.  
Shivaay says there must be something that he can do to save his friend,  Neil thinks and says that he needs to fly to Delhi   so he can solve the problem. Avni says she will join him and without argument they left from OM.
Dadi now asks him to find anika and be there to support her. shivaay obeys dadi and goes to anika's house but to his disappointment the house is locked. shiv asks the neighbour if they know where anika is or if she came back and they all repond in shaking their heads. shivaay doesn't know what to do and goes to his office where he decides to hire a detective to find anika.

as soon as anika left OM she went to a office and is trying to track someone, it takes about an hour and she finally was able to track successfully. she leaves for that location and when she reaches there finds herself admist well armed goons surrounding the old mill. she manages to bribe a few who are no longer a threat to her and fights the rest of the goons with aid of those with her. she enters the mill and finds many small children on the floor most of them crying she consoles all of them and that's when she notices sahil who is unconscious she takes all the kids and goes to the police station and asks the officers to drop the kids to their families safely while she takes sahil and goes to chanda's place( chanda is a good friend of anika and is a doctor by profession, she is sweet and kind, she does not know anika's truth and always tries to find out cause she knows that anika hides her pain in front of everyone). chanda questions anika  as she treats sahil and bandages his wounds, but anika asks her to take care of sahil and she will reveal everything at the right time but she needs to be somewhere else right now. saying this she leaves chandas place and to her next destination.

shivaay had now hired a detective and gone back to OM from where he decided to handle all office work. he enters Om and sees everyone's dull faces and cheers them up with assurance he will bring anika back soon and tells them to give anika some time as they don't know  what she is going through. all decide to give anika her time and get back to normal affairs, it is dinner time and shivaay gets a call and is supposed to go to bareily for an important meeting, he tries sending someone else but tej was going to dehli for a meeting and shakti had to attend a feww important meetings at the office just then om interrupts and says he will go and attend the meeting.

everyone is left shocked by this statement and om then explains that anika had once told him that he should try and look at mr Oberoi's (tej's) point of view and as a father he would want his son to carry on with family legacy i.e the business , and also that he can handle both business and his art gallery. he then confesses that he didn't have a problem with busines but started hating mr oberoi and hence disapproved everything he said.but since  anika came into their lives tej and jhanvi's life changed and became like it was before, he to changed his way of thinking and want to mend his relationship with tej.
The next day om left for bareilly,the for Delhi  rudra left for college and shivaay and shakti for office .
