~An unwitnessed bond~

She had a secret,
No one knew, did they?

"Sanju!"

"Arey ab ye kaunsi nyi musibat aagyi?"

"Lekin gir gyi to chhodo hum dusri le lenge"

"Tumhe.. kese..?"

With a positive response by ya'll, here's first one shot of the series:)

"Hum abhi aate hain." Faizi said to Karan.

Another new day, with new hopes! Suhana mausam, saloni hawayein, chidiyo ki pyari si yu boli! Aesa lag rha tha aaj Khuda duniya ke iss chhote se kone par aaj meherbaan tha! Par humare pyare Faizi ko in sab se koi matlab ni tha unhe to bas apni personal Koel ko dekh kr sukoon mila!

Well with budding and unsure feelings within and gradually growing bonds in the academy, everyone was now in the training ground but apparantly Koel was lil late resulting in a punishment for her.

As she continued doing her punishment, few trainers noticed the exhaustion on her face. Faizi wanted to go towards her but hoping not to make her uncomfortable, he asked Sanju to come along and help Koel while Karan proceeded towards his namoonas.

"Ke ho gyo? Aaj Koel ke par dhang se na fadfada rho h!?"

"Wese Sanju ki baat me dum to h, Koel. Kya hua all good?"

"Han me.. me thik" Koel replied panting and sweating profusely "thik hu!" She said just this much when the next moment she lost her consciousness in arms of Faizi. He and Sanju panicked and he started patting her cheeks to wake her up.

"Pani.. Sanju pani la"

Before she could go Sid threw the bottle towards her and everyone came towards Koel. Sanjana took the bottle and sprinkled the water on Koel's face when Monami reached them. Koel flinched and slowly opened her eyes while Faizi continued caressing her face with one hand.

"Koel tum-tum thik ho?"

"Huh? Hmm.."

"Faizi let me check!" Monami said as he backed off while Karan noted his friend's behaviour. Few times in his life he had seen Faizi this concerned for someone..

"I guess zyada exertion ki wajah se black out hogya hoga and she fainted. Tension wali baat nhi h." Monami said.

"Koel ke zarurat thi je karne ki han?" Sanjana said taking Koel's hand in hers, concern clearly visible on her face. "Sare jhingoor kaan khol ke sun lo! Jisse jitno hoto h utni hi exercise krna pata chalo pade huye h sare dispensary me!"

"Everyone! Yahan hum apni limits ko push krne ke liye workout karte hain, khud ko exert krte h over exert nhi. Mind that!"

"Koel!" Monami spoke softly as she observed Koel's actions. "Are you on your periods?" she whispered bcz ofcourse she didn't wish to make her uncomfortable.

People closer to them heard her so they turned towards Koel as she nodded. Monami sighed.

"Koel! Kyu? I mean tumhe apni abilities pta h na then kyu tumne abhi itni exercise krli jitni tumse ho bhi nhi payi?" Monami said with disappointment.

"Koel je ka h? Kisi aur ko na shi tum hume bata deti hum tumhe aaj ki chhutti de dete lekin nhi tumhe to ptanhi konso bhoot savaar tha!" Sanju said rather scolded her while Faizi just kept looking at Koel.

Faizi looked at Karan and he nodded. "Jitni bhi female recruits hain aap sabko ye puchhne ki zarurat nhi h.. agar aap apne menstruation period se guzar rhi hain to utna hi workout kriye jitna ho skta h ya aap chhutti bhi le skti hain!" Faizi said.

"Humari female trainers ke liye bhi unke menstrual cycle ke dauran day off lene ka provision h aur har batch me har female ko milta h. Aap kisi bhi trainer ko inform karke rest kriye bcz we don't want your health to get worsened. I hope you all got that!" Karan said as everyone nodded in affirmative.

Faizi told Sanju to take Koel to her dorm. Monami asked to go along.

"Na Monami tu apni training kar, hum hain Koel ke sath aur agar koi zaroorat padi to dispensary me doctor hai hi!" Sanju said to which Monami nodded in affirmative and they both went towards Koel's dorm as everyone else continued their training.

"I hope Koel phir esa na kare" Faizi thought.

"Aaram se!" Sanjana said as they entered Koel's room.

"Arey ab ye kaunsi nayi musibat aagyi?" Nikhil thought below the bed when suddenly he remembered something. "Oh no! Mera video game to upar hi reh gya! Agar is musibat ne dekh liya to badi wali musibat aajayegi!"

Koel came to her bed and noticed the video game to which her eyes widened. "Agar Sanju ne ye dekh liya to.. nhi! Mujhe ise chhupana hoga." She thought "Ye mendhak bhi na! Fasayega bura wala!"

She hid it quickly as Sanjana made her sit on the bed.

"Tu yehi beth, hum abhi aato h!" Sanju said and went towards the dispensary. As soon as she left Koel got off the bed and lifted the bedsheet.

"Nikhil! Kya h ye?" She whisper yelled showing him the video game.

"Video game h aur kya"

"Hey bhagwan me kya karu tera!"

"Tu kuchh mat kar bas chup ho ja wese bhi mujhe bahar jane nhi deti aur ab jab tu nhi thi to upar tha mujhe kya pata tha tum log achanak se tapak jaoge!"

Koel's mind got blank for a second as her heart skipped a beat. She couldn't provide him a good environment, friends, freedom to roam, she just.. she just couldn't be a good mother, she thought.

"Acha mere baap thik h galti meri thi ab khush?" She said joining her hands, composing herself.

"Han meri ma!"

Koel chuckled at it and shook her head. She handed him the video game and ruffled his hair to which he made a face and she smiled.

"Kash me tujhe wo sab de pati jo tu deserve karta h mere mendhak!"

She told him to hide under the bed only and settled herself on top of the bed before Sanju came. Sanjana entered with some medicines in her hand and a glass of water.

"Je le! Je dawai khale, acha lagego." Sanju said as she sat near her on the bed and passed a smile to Koel which she reciprocated. "Abhi yahan room me thik lag raho h?"

"Hmm.. Thanku Sanju, thank you very much!" Koel expressed her thoughts genuinely and kept her hand on Sanju's. Very few times people had actally cared for her without expecting something in return. Sanjana kept her other hand above hers and blinked her eyes.

This sweet gesture melted her heart. They never but always had that unsaid bond, the bond of secrets, the bond of lies, the bond of truths, the bond of trust, the bond of care, the bond of LOVE💙

Sanjana intentionally put her hand in her pocket and when she took it out, a small chocolate bar fell off it. They both noticed it and Sanjana said, "Offo! Je chocolate lagto h aaj humaye nasib me hi na h! Chauthi baar gir gyi." She picked it up. "Lekin gir gyi to chhodo.. hum dusri le lenge!"

She touched the chocolate and with the same hand touched her forehead as if treating it as a giving by Goddess Annapurna. She then passed it to Koel saying the chocolate didn't want to stay with her!

She smiled as Koel took the chocolate with hesistation, Sanju knew she loved chocolates plus her plan worked! Well, yes! She lied so that she could give the chocolate to Koel.

"Hum abhi aato hain!"

"Chocolate bar itni tasty kyu hoti hai? Ye to mera pehla pyar h!" Nikhil whispered from below the bed as Koel shushed him shaking her head.

Sanju returned with a packet of biscuits, a bottle of water and a sipper of chocolate shake on a tray and hot water bag in other hand. Keeping the tray on the bed table she passed on the hot water bag to Koel telling her to keep it on her abdomen area.

"Ab pehle se behtar lag rho h?"
"Han.. Thankuu"

Sanju smiled and patted her cheek telling her to take care. She went out after talking bit more to Koel. "Chocolate shake?" Koel said as she picked up the sipper. Nikhil heard it and quickly came out of his hiding and started jumping.

"Yay chocolate shake!! Aaj to maze aagye Koel! Chocolate bhi aur chocolate shake bhi yayy!" He said in an excited tone making Koel smile. "Zyada na mendhak ki tarah fudak mat, thik h!" She said hiding her smile. "Koi ek hi milega tujhe, ya to bar ya shake!"

Nikhil pouted at it and after a lot of 'gahan chintan' he finally settled with shake. "Aaj pehle pyar ke samne dusre pyar ko qurban hona padega! Aaja mere pehle pyar, mera chocolate shake" He said taking the sipper making Koel laugh.

"Par tera pehla pyar to chocolate bar tha na?"

"Nhi to! Wo to mera dusra wala h pehla to ye h" Nikhil replied pointing at the shake grinning widely. Koel shook her head and smiled. "Wese tujhe kya hua h? Training itni jaldi to puri nhi hoti"

"Kuchh nhi.. bas thodi tabiyat kharab thi.."

"Oh... Koi nhi tu mera dusra pyar khale sab thik ho jayega!"

Koel laughed at this and sent him under the bed for precaution. Suddenly her eyes landed on a paper piece on the tray. She picked it up and got shocked to a huge extent reading it.

At the same time, Sanjana entered to take her phone which she left, and understood by her shocked face that her plan had worked. She went near the bed, picked up her phone and kept it in the pocket.

"Hum tumhe batana bhul gye, je painkiller h agar dard ho to kha lena aur koi bhi dikkat ho ya kuchh chahiye ho to hume bula lena!" Sanjana said ignoring her expression, kissed her forehead and turned to leave when she heard Koel say "Tumhe.. kese.. ?" She couldn't complete her sentence, still being in shock.

Sanjana went towards the door, turned and saw her. She smiled and left not before winking at her.

Here, Koel just couldn't absorb what happened in the past few minutes.! Sanjana knew about Nikhil? How? Since when? And why didn't she tell anyone?

She kept thinking when the piece of paper in her hands caught her attention. She noticed it was folded. As she unfolded it,

She smiled as a lone tear rolled down her cheek.
