The sun was ready to bid adieu to yet another frenetic day in the city of London. Lampposts were slowly lighting up one by one the roads of the capital of England which were still full of coming and going of cars. The sky was colored with shades of pink and orange mixed to the whitish clouds that could turn into grey at any moment. "Never trust the unpredictable weather of London" – it's said. But much more dynamic than the city itself and its sky are the people living there and the peak example of that is the hero of our story.

Three race bikes lined up in front of a traffic light. Two girls, with helmets, were sitting behind the bikers at the sides while the one at the center was alone. He was wearing olive cargo pants, a grey t-shirt and maroon leather jacket on it while his face was covered with the helmet. He flipped up the visor of his helmet showing his eyes and looked around. He must be thinking something when the sound of horns made him return in the reality. He looked at the traffic light that had turned green and immediately slid down the visor and tightened the grip over the handgrips of the motorbike. The others looked at him and he just nodded with his head and then started the bike in full speed.

That's when the calm was broken.

The buzz of the motorbike went louder and louder as he kept speeding up leaving the other two behind.

Suddenly he slowly started to leave the grip from the handgrips while the bike was still running and brought his hands up to the helmet and removed it revealing his face. Sanskar Raisingh (played by Varun Kapoor), that was he. He kept his feet on the footrests and stood up opening his arms wide.

"Mein sarphira musaafir..."

A smile appeared on his face as he blinked twice feeling the breeze caressing his face.

"Hawaaon pai chaloon..."

Sanskar's friends reached him and looked at him shaking their heads and smiling while he returned a victorious smirk to them.

"Yaaron ka mein yaar hoon...

Haan has ke sabse miloon..."

Sanskar sat down on the bike wearing back the helmet and held again the handgrips. He exchanged a hi-five to the guy on his right and gave a fist-bump to the one on his left while still driving the bike.

"In khaali khaali jebon mai

Iraade beisaab hai..."

Sanskar looked straight. Also his eyes were smiling.

"In choti choti aankhon mai

Bade bade se khwaab hai..."

Sanskar increased more the speed of the bike.

"Sajade meri rahein tu..."

He suddenly did a wheelie with his motorcycle: the front wheel lifted and the bike rode on the back wheel while Sanskar was still on it.

"Kholde apni baahein tu..."

His friends stopped their bikes and came down while Sanskar did a 90 degree turn and stopped the bike after reaching them. He came down of the bike removing the helmet and shook his head passing a hand on his hair. He walked towards his friend with style.

"Aa raha hoon mein, zindagi!

Aa raha hoon mein, karle aa mujhse dosti!

Zindagi aa raha hoon mein!"

"Wow Sanskar! You actually did this! It was so dangerous, I thought you won't do it!" – commented one of his female friends.

Sanskar: "Daredevil for a reason!"

The other girl said: "Aisha is right, even I thought it's too risky so you won't do it... but you actually won the challenge!"

Sanskar: "As usual. And dear Jessie, there is no such word as risky in my dictionary. It would work like a road stopper in the path towards our destination. Aren't we supposed to live our life fully and don't think so much? In order to do that you need to face every challenge you find. The great Albert Einstein had said that without challenges, life becomes a routine, in slow agony. Who wants to live such a life?"

Jessie to the guy near him: "Learn something Ayush. I don't want people to say that I've got such a coward boyfriend!"

Ayush: "I am not a coward. I just think that going to any extent just to make the other lose is silly."

Sanskar: "I go to any extent to win, that's different."

Ayush: "And putting your life in danger just to win a challenge, isn't that silly? Why do you have to do like this every time? Winning is not everything!"

Sanskar: "Call it obsession or stubbornness.... Winning for me is not everything, it is the only thing."

He replied and laughed giving a hi-five to the guy near him who laughed and said: "Nobody must challenge you dude! I'm regretting doing that! Playing against Sanskar Raisingh is like writing your defeat with your own hands."

Sanskar: "Very well said Ricky. Once I make up my mind, nothing and nobody can stop me. So... Now let's go to the Pizza express? You owe me a pizza treat since you lost!"

Ricky sighed: "I have no other option so let's go!"

And with that they got on their respective bikes and led towards the mall.

AFTER A WHILE

SLOANE SQUARE

Sanskar and his gang entered in the square on their bikes.

(The song playing in this scene is tere naina from my name is khan)

In the square, there was a girl whose only back was shown while she was feeding some pigeons. She was wearing an off-shoulder brown top, jeans that were torn a bit and sneakers.

Violin plays "Tere naina" initial tune in background

Suddenly a gust of wind moved her long open hair that covered her face.

Violin plays

She slowly moved her hair away with her fingers while camera ran from left to right showing her big, beautiful, dark eyes that blinked twice.

Sitar starts playing

Camera focused on her lips that curved up in a smile.

Sitar plays again in background

Suddenly Sanskar and his friends passed near her driving their bikes in full speed rising up a lot of dust so the girl turned her face a bit and covered her eyes with a hand. All the pigeons flied away and just then she turned around flipping her hair behind and her face is revealed. She is Ragini (played by Tejasswi Prakash).

"Tere naina tere naina

"Ooyyeeee!!!" – She shouted from behind at Sanskar and co.

Sanskar, whose face was covered with the helmet since he was still riding the bike, tilted his face behind hearing the shout and saw her. He stared at her.

"Tere naina tere naina

Tere naina re"

He was left in awe seeing such a beauty in front of his eyes. She was standing there, glaring at him and his friends with an angry bird face while her hair was moved by the wind.

"Tere naina tere naina

Sanskar turned to look ahead and realized he was going against a tree and applied sudden brakes before he could hit it. His friends stopped too and looked at him.

"What happened to you Sanskar?" – Aayush asked.

Instead of replying him Sanskar looked behind where he had seen that girl and his eyes got wider seeing her walking towards him. It would not be exaggerated if we say that he was nearly out of breath seeing her attitude and the way she was walking. Chin up, glaring eyes, perfect features of the face, long dark and little wavy hair moving with the movements of her 5"8 tall body, slender figure: Sanskar observed her and wondered if he had ever had a more gorgeous view in front of his eyes.

"Naino ki chaal hai, makhmali haal hai
Neechi palkon se badle samaa"

She stood in front of him and started speaking to him. She was apparently scolding him for the way he was driving and he would have replied for sure... had he not been hypnotized. Not a single word said by Ragini entered in Sanskar's mind which had gone numb. She was gesticulating with her hands while talking and he was just staring at her.

"Naina sharamaye jo, ya annkhein bar aaye jo
Tham ke ruk jaaye dono jahaan"

Ragini stopped talking and looked at Sanskar expecting an answer. Also Sanskar's friends looked at him waiting for him to reply but he was still lost in her eyes. He thought that they had innocence filled in them even when she was being angry. Ragini knocked on his helmet and waved a hand in front of him.

"Rab ki neemat hai teri nigaahein
Jisme basti hai uski duayein"

Sanskar returned in reality but, thinking that he was ignoring her, Ragini narrowed her eyes glaring at him angrily with a pout and then turned around starting to leave. Sanskar opened his mouth to say something but then he realized he hadn't listened to a single word of hers... so what would have he said? He looked at her from behind.

"Aise naino ki baaton mein koi kyun na aaye"

Ragini flipped her hair which landed all on her right shoulder as she turned around to glare one last time at Sanskar with her angry but innocence-filled eyes, as Sanskar was defining them.

"Hoo Tere naina, tere naina, tere naina re
Tere naina tere naina tere naina re"

Sanskar was looking at her from behind when Aayush asked him: "That girl said you so many things and you didn't give her a single answer? That's not like you."

Sanskar: "What did she say?"

Ayush, Aisha, Jessie and Ricky looked at each other and then at Sanskar.

Aisha: "Weren't you listening?"

Sanskar realized what had just happened.

Sanskar: "I... Yes... No... actually I..."

Ricky: "Ok forget about it! I wonder why she came to only you to scold."

Sanskar: "Maybe coz she recognized the leader! I have this aura around me you know..." – He winked slyly smiling.

Ricky chuckled shaking his forehead: "Let's just go!"

Sanskar nodded. His friends started their respective bikes and left from there. Before following them, Sanskar turned to look towards the direction where Ragini had gone and not seeing her anywhere, he just left from there too.

ON THE OTHER HAND

Ragini was walking on the busy roads of the city while talking on the phone: "I'm right in front of the fountain Shelly, where are you?"

"Right behind you!" – A female voice said from behind.

Ragini turned around and a smile appeared on her face seeing a beautiful girl in jeans and black crop top (played by Sheena Bajaj). They hugged.

Shelly: "I'm sorry Ragini I had to leave you alone for so long but it's so difficult to find a damn washroom here!"

Ragini broke the hug and said: "It's ok Shelly! I'm sorry you had to go to find it alone!"

Shelly: "Well... you wanted to stay here and enjoy the serenity." – She said doing quotation mark gesture with her hands.

Ragini sighed: "Serenity? You won't believe it was all so nice here until a bunch of guys came with their bikes and made so much of noise! You know... typical show-off stupid bikers! Well even I didn't stay quiet and told them off!" – She said crossing her arms.

Shelly: "So you got yourself recognized also here!"

Ragini: "Shelly! You know I just can't bear the wrong and moreover people like them don't even know driving properly. They could hit someone! God knows who gives them driving license! And there was one of them in particular who was so reckless! Oh God!"

Shelly: "But babe they are so cool, aren't they? I bet the guy you are talking about must have been so handsome!"

Ragini gave him a deadly glare.

Shelly: "I was just kidding baby, don't kill me now! Shall we go before we miss the bus?"

Ragini smiled nodding and they started to walk towards the bus stop.

Ragini: "By the way I didn't see his face since he had it covered with the helmet. Thank God, at least he knows that helmet has to be worn while driving such vehicles."

Shelly: "Girl you wouldn't have noticed a handsome face even if he wasn't wearing a helmet. These things aren't for you. You better stay surrounded by romance novels waiting for a miracle to happen and your prince charming to appear with a puffff!"

Ragini: "Prince charming do exists ok? And I'm sure there is someone out there for me also."

Shelly: "Someone should sue Disney for making people believe all this nonsense."

Ragini slapped her playfully on the shoulder and they laughed together.

They reached the bus stop and waited there.

Ragini: "So finally our trip at London is coming to an end next week. I loved this city but I'm missing my country and home so much!"

Shelly: "Don't remind me. I don't want to go back to India. We were having so much fun here!"

Ragini: "But no place is better than home."

Shelly: "Oh sure right." – She said with a grimace.

MEANWHILE

Sanskar and his group stopped in front of the pizza express and got off the bikes.

Sanskar: "You guys go ahead; I have to make a call."

With that he took out his mobile and dialed a number while the others left.

ABOUT 7200 KMS AWAY

MUMBAI – RAISINGH ENTERPRISES HEADQUARTER

A man whose face isn't clearly visible was sitting in the main office of the company. He put a hand on his forehead and sighed looking at some papers. He placed the papers down and covered his face with his hands. He was lost in his thoughts when his phone rang. He removed his hands from his eyes and held the phone. Sanskar's name was displaying on it. The man picked up the call and stood up turning around. He is Harshvardhan Raisingh (played by Ayyub Khan).

Harsh: "Hey my son! How are you?" – The tone of his voice didn't reflect the tension in his eyes.

Sanskar spoke from the other side: "Hi Dad! All is fine, just missing you and Mom."

Harsh smiled: "We miss you too dear."

Sanskar: "The only problem of studying abroad is that I have to stay far from you both but guys don't miss me so much coz I have finally completed my studies here and I'm planning to come to India so be sure you're fit and fine Dad!"

Harsh: "... But you really don't need to come back so soon from London just for us. You can stay there with your friends if you want."

Sanskar: "Are you kidding Dad? I'm dying to see you both!"

Harsh's eyes got a bit moist.

Harsh: "I have a meeting now Sanskar, I'll call you later."

With that he cut the call leaving Sanskar a bit confused.

Harsh held again the papers he was looking at.

Harsh: "Where am I going wrong?!"

RAICHAND EMPIRE HEADQUARTER

A rotating chair turned around revealing a girl, Swara Raichand (played by Helly Shah), sitting on it. She was wearing a white blouse with mustard color palazzo trousers.

A man who was sitting on the other side of the desk with two others handed her a file: "Here you go Mam."

Swara took the file and placed her feet with high heels on the floor and stood up.

Swara: "Does it have all the information I need about Raisingh Enterprises?"

Man: "Yes Mam."

Swara opened the file and smirked looking at it: "Mr. Harshvardhan Raisingh must be wondering about what's happening, why his business is going down. Tch tch tch." – She closed the file and looked on – "But this had to happen. Raisingh was our biggest competitor in the market and whoever comes in between me and my targets has to pay for it.
Swara Raichand doesn't spare anybody. I always get whatever I want, by hook or by crook."

She threw the file on the desk and placed her hands on it looking on evilly.

FEW DAYS LATER

INFERNOS NIGHT CLUB

It was night and the music playing inside the club was so loud that it could be heard outside too.

Inside the club, Sanskar was sitting on a table with another guy sitting in front of him. Many little glasses filled with alcohol were placed on the table and there was a crowd cheering for them.

Jessie, Aisha, Aayush and Ricky were standing next to Sanskar.

Aayush: "He really needed to challenge someone here too? How will he drink all that alcohol now?"

Jessie: "It's Sanskar man! He can do anything."

Someone whistled and Sanskar and the other guy started to drink one glass after the other.

After a while, Sanskar stood up raising a glass in his hand and gulped the alcohol down. Everybody shouted and clapped for him.

Ricky: "Another challenge won by our Sanskar Raisingh, as expected."

Sanskar: "Come on everybody on the floor now!" – He said with a drunken voice.

The DJ increased the volume of music and everybody went on the floor. 

Sanskar put his arm around a blonde girl's neck and went on the floor with her. The girl placed her hands on Sanskar's shoulders while he held her waist and they danced closely.

"Chakko chakko chakko chakko

Chakko yaaro lal pari...

Aaj to jee lo aaj to jee lo

Kal ki hai kisko padi..."

The girl turned and merged her back with Sanskar's chest.

"Sippin' Sippin' Sippin' Sippin'

Sippin' Yaaro laal pari"

Sanskar twirled the girl twice and then let her go a bit away.

"Aaj ko jeelo aaj ko jeelo
Kal ki hai kisko padi"

Sanskar was about to go towards her but stopped as his eyes went on a girl who had her back towards Sanskar and was dancing while shaking her head right and left and her hair was moving with her movements.

"Kismat meri jagaa do
Music thoda badha do

Ik Patiala aur pila do
Is party mein aag laga do"

The girl turned a bit and Sanskar widened his eyes seeing her face. It was Ragini.

"Kismat meri jagaa do
Music thoda badha do"

Sanskar stared at her without blinking: she was wearing a sequin silver short dress and a black leather jacket on it.

"Ik Patiala aur pila do
Is party mein aag laga do"

He was about to step towards her getting pulled by her attractive aura but just then Aisha came to him and dragged him towards the bar. Sanskar looked behind once but some other people were there on the place of Ragini. He shook his head and followed Aisha.

"Yes! yes! I want it more
Aaj na chalega zor
Khulegi daru, machega shor
Aa jao saare on the floor"

Ricky, Jessie and Aayush came to Sanskar with a bottle which he opened and filled the glasses placed on the table of the bar.

"Bas isi baat pe botal kholo
Kiye jo saare paap wo dho lo"

They made a toast shouting and laughing together.

"Aao mere saath mein ho lo
Put your hands up n zor se bolo"

Sanskar turned around and was about to gulp down the alcohol when he saw HER. His smile disappeared as a surprised expression came on his face seeing Ragini there again.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

The flash of the first time she saw her in the square came in his mind.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

He checked her out from bottom to top, from her toned legs then her curvy waist to her angelic face, without blinking even once.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

He couldn't take his eyes off from her and just stared at each movement of her body and each expression of her face.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

She was enjoying dancing and just then she removed her jacket revealing her sleeveless dress.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

Sanskar was once again hypnotized by her.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

Sanskar suddenly shut his eyes but then, as soon as he opened them, she wasn't there anymore.

"Main sharabi, main sharabi"

Sanskar massaged his forehead closing his eyes: "It must have been my imagination only..." – he opened his eyes and looked on confused – "But why am I imagining her?"

He recalled the vision and smiled: "Angel face..." – He lipped.

"Sharab peene ka yeh fayda niraala hai

Aam sa chehra bhi jannat ki hoor lagta hai"

He shook his head and put the glass down – "I have drank a lot it seems."

He huffed and then went back on the floor.

Ragini and Shelly are shown leaving the place

THE NEXT DAY

Ragini and Shelly were walking in a street market and looking here and there when Ragini's eyes fell on something. She went towards a stall which was selling jewelry. There was a locket with two chains, one for a heart and one for a key, which can be merged. Ragini held it and smiled looking at it.

Shelly came there and looked at it with a face.

Shelly: "What are you doing with it?"

Ragini: "I'm going to buy it."

Shelly looked at her and then at the locket.

Shelly: "You have a boyfriend and you didn't tell me?!"

Ragini: "What? No! I'm buying this and..." – She blushed – "I'll give the chain with the key to the guy who'll conquer my heart..."

At the same moment Sanskar passed right behind Ragini with his friends on their bikes.

Shelly hit her head with her palm: "Ragini!"

Ragini paid for the locket and was putting it in her bag when she suddenly reminded something.

Ragini: "Oh Gosh!"

Shelly: "Now what?"

Ragini: "Shelly we need to go to the Tiffany's store in the Bond Street right now!"

Shelly: "But we have already been there right? And we have our flight in the evening and I still have to do lots of packaging!"

Ragini: "Yes but I had seen something at Tiffany's which I really want to get before leaving! Last time we came the store was closed but I saw it from the shop window! Bond Street is right on the corner! Hurry up before someone else takes it!"

She held Shelly's hand and dragged her towards Bond Street.

In the meantime Sanskar and his friends had reached Bond Street too and parked their bikes.

Sanskar: "Guys I have to collect my order from Tiffany's, I'll be back in five minutes!"

Ricky: "Ok bro! We'll be waiting for you here!"

Sanskar was about to step towards the store when he saw Ragini going inside in hurry with Shelly. He furrowed his eyebrows and walked towards the store entrance. He stood at the door and peeked inside.

Shelly to Ragini: "So what's this thing you needed to buy?"

Ragini indicated a pocket watch in a showcase.

Ragini: "It's a musical pocket watch! And see what's written! Once open, the music of my heart will go on plays! Isn't that beautiful?"

Sanskar looked on.

Shelly: "Beautiful, romantic and useless... perfect for you Ragini!"

Ragini looked at her with a pout: "You won't ever understand! Anyway... excuse me!" – She called a shop assistant to her.

Shop assistant: "Yes mam? How can I help you?"

Ragini: "I would like to get this pocket watch. How much does it cost?"

Shop assistant: "We're sorry Mam but this is not for sale. Actually it's a pre-ordered customized item and its payment has already been done. If you want you can place an order for it and a similar piece will be ready in 10 working days."

Ragini's smile disappeared and Sanskar noticed that.

Ragini: "Oh..."

Shop assistant: "We have some other pocket watches... if you want to have a look please follow me this way."

Ragini nodded and followed her though she hadn't a very convinced expression on her face and Sanskar had understood that she really wanted that pocket watch only. He took out his phone and called someone.

The landline of the Tiffany's store rang and the shop assistant who was showing some watches to Ragini heard it.

Shop assistant: "Excuse me Mam, just a minute."

With that she went to pick up the call: "Tiffany & Co. – Bond Street London here, how may I help you?"

Sanskar: "I'm Sanskar Raisingh. I had ordered a musical pocket watch..."

Shop assistant: "Yes Sir, it's ready. You can come and collect your order."

Sanskar: "Actually I don't need it anymore. Can I cancel the order?"

Shop assistant: "Sorry Sir but you have already paid for it and we don't make refunds for customized items."

Sanskar: "Oh... Well... I... Oh yes! Actually a friend of mine really wanted it and she must have come today for it. I had to call you earlier and ask to give it to her but I got busy... Can you give it to her?"

Shop assistant: "Sure, what's her name?"

Sanskar: "Name... name... Oh I just received her message that she is there in the store already! She is wearing a..." – he peeked inside the shop and looked at Ragini – "A white crop top with black trousers and another girl is with her! She is Indian and has long dark hair, brown beautiful eyes and an angel face and..."

The shop assistant looked at Ragini: "Ok ok Sir, I saw her. Ok so I'll give her that you already informed me and..."

Sanskar: "No no! Please don't tell her that I asked you to give it to her! I want to surprise her! Please Mam invent something but don't let her know that I asked you!"

The shop assistant smiled: "I understood Sir, don't worry."

With that they cut the call. Sanskar sighed and smiled looking back at Ragini.

The shop assistant went to her and said: "Mam the order for that pocket watch you wanted has been cancelled. The payment had already been done and we don't make refunds so the person who ordered it just said to give it away and I guess you're the lucky one."

A smile appeared on Ragini's face. She couldn't believe it. Sanskar smiled too seeing her happy.

The shop assistant gave the pocket watch to Ragini who opened it and my heart will go on music started to play.

Ragini's eyes shined and her smile became bigger.

Shelly: "I wonder who that stupid person is."

Ragini: "I just love that person and will be forever thankful for what he or she did!"

Sanskar closed his eyes hearing that as he just felt content. Just then someone placed a hand on his shoulder and he turned around opening his eyes. His friends were standing in front of him and looking at him with teasing expressions.

Aisha: "What's going on here? You just gave that stranger girl the pocket watch you had ordered for your father?"

Sanskar: "I.. She... I... actually..." – He stammered.

Ricky: "Isn't she the same girl who had scolded you so much that day in the Sloane square and you didn't tell her anything?"

Jessie: "Sanskar do you like her?"

Sanskar: "Hold on guys, you are rushing!"

Aayush: "Come on man! You didn't use to wait so much before flirting so what's the problem? Go and talk to her!"

Sanskar: "What if she bashes me?"

Aisha: "Sanskar what happened to you? Aren't you expert in such things? Just go!"

Sanskar: "You guys are right... I shall..."

Before he could say anything more his phone rang.

Sanskar: "Mom?" – He picked up the call smiling – "What's up beautiful?"

What he heard next removed the earth beneath his feet and his smile disappeared immediately.

Ragini and Shelly came out of the store and passed near Sanskar but his world had turned upside down that moment.

A tear skipped through his eye and the phone fell from his hand. He looked on shocked and devastated.
