The Golf War-Final

The cool air seethed through Pacifica's clothes, as she sat on a bench. Sergei was busy placing a coin in a vending machine. Meanwhile, the blonde lady was burning with frustration.

Pacifica couldn't comprehend how Mabel managed to get this far into the competition. Pacifica was the Goddess of Beauty and Riches, a being of victory and grace, she couldn't possibly lose. And sure, Mabel was also talented, graceful, amazing--

Pacifica shook her head of intruding thoughts. She just had to try harder, surely, she beat Mabel soon.

She held her hand out, as Sergei handed her a soda. Pacifica opened the can and was about to take a sip, when she heard rustling in the nearby bushes. Pacifica spun her head around, her eyes darting for any signs of suspicious movement. She found nothing.

"Sergei, did you hear that--"

She paused, when she noticed the man wasn't in sight. The blonde's face masked with confusion, and she darted around in search for Sergei. Pacifica made her way towards the vending machine, where the man once stood. She looked around one more time, before a sharp pain sprouted in the back of her neck.

"Ow!" She yelped, before a sudden dizziness overtook her.

Seconds later, she collapsed on the ground. Darkness slowly filled her vision, and the last thing she heard was tiny footsteps.

Bill stood at one corner of the park, near the castle hole. Moments later, he decided to take a break from all the weirdness, and have some time alone.

He wasn't alone for much long, as a pair of arms draped over his shoulders. A small smile tugged on Bill's face, and he turned around to see a familiar pair of unusual blue eyes.

"Couldn't last ten seconds without me, huh?" The blond teased.

"Shut up," Dipper remarked, tugging Bill closer. "I wanted to check on you."

A blush formed on Bill's face, as the other's warm torso pressed against his back. "Well, I can't say I'm not relieved to have the company."

The brunette gazed at him curiously. Bill looked back, feeling his stomach ripple with nervous energy. He didn't think he'll ever adjust to the feeling that Dipper provoked in him. It was strange, but oddly addicting. Every moment with him made Bill either warm and fuzzy, or incredibly nauseous. The nausea mostly originated by the fact that Bill was keeping secrets from him.

Damn goat, Bill thought, bitterly.

"Bill, are you okay?"

The blond turned to him, and the fuzzy warm feeling returned, when he looked at Dipper's handsome face. At this moment, Bill really wanted to kiss him.

Hesitantly, Bill turned his body towards him, slowly sliding his hands over the other's cheeks. Dipper blushed, but didn't pull away, so Bill took that as a sign to continue. He moved one hand to the back of Dipper's head, his brown locks brushing his fingers. Their noses were inches apart, before Dipper leaned down, and captured Bill's lips in his. A spark erupted in Bill's chest, as their lips folded over each other. Bill fisted Dipper's hair, deepening the kiss, feeling disoriented. Dipper placed a hand on the other's jawline, uttering soft noises of bliss. Bill pulled closer, until their torsos pressed together, leaving no gap between them.

Tap tap tap!

Bill recoiled, surprised by the sound. He looked around, but saw nothing. Perhaps it had been his imagination?

"Bill?" Dipper said, in a rather breathy voice.

The blond turned to him, his body went hot. Dipper was truly a intoxicating sight at the moment, with his cheeks flushed and his hair ruffled. Something wild flashed in Dipper's eyes, and it made Bill want to kiss him again. Before he could act on his desire, he was yet again distracted by the strange noise. Bill scanned the park again, earning a confused look from Dipper.

"Is there something wrong?" The brunette asked.

Bill shrugged. "I don't know, it's--"

He gasped, when a sharp pain sprouted in his neck. Instinctively, Bill flung his hand to the object that shot him, and pulled out a dart. He stared at it, before his vision went dark, and he began to tilt.

"Bill!" Dipper shouted, distressed. He went to help the blond, when out of nowhere, a dart landed in his neck too.

In under a minute, the two collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

"I think we're almost done here," Will said, while tallying up the scores.

Mabel looked around, a curious expression on her face. "Hey, where is Dipper and Bill?"

"Bill went to go clear his head, and Dipper followed him."

She rose an eyebrow. "So, they're alone together?"

"I suppose so," Will replied.

"Uh, do you think they're--"

"I know they are," He said. "But I'm pretending I don't, so I can protect what little remaining innocence I have left."

Mabel shrugged. "I guess arrogance is bliss."

"Exactly," Will agreed. "So, can we please change the subject, before my mind comes up with a disturbing mental image?"

Mabel let out a small laugh, before her smile slowly faded. "Hey, do you think I'm a bad person for cheating?"

"Cheating is wrong," Will admitted. "But, that doesn't make you a bad person, Mabel."

The female brunette looked down at her golf club. "Well, am I a bad person for feeling good that Pacifica feels bad?"

Will made a thoughtful look. "I can't say that Pacifica doesn't deserve it, she kinda needs to be put down a peg. Maybe, a little loss would do her good, make her see that she can't always look down on people."

Mabel sighed. "You're right, I guess a little loss won't hurt her."

"Think again, hugeling!"

The two turned, when hearing Franz's voice. The windmill hole lit up, revealing an unconscious Pacifica tied down in front of the model. They stared in horror, while Franz stepped forward.

"Welcome, you two!" The Lilliputtian smiled. "I can tell you're loving this, right? Right? No?"

"What are you guys doing!?" Mabel snapped. "This wasn't part of the deal, tiny Dutchman!"

Franz held up his hands in defense. "Okay, so we saw how much you were favoring the miners, and we thought what's better than beating Pacifica? Duh, killing her! Of course."

"This is immoral!" Will shouted. "You're really going to commit murder for a sticker!?"

"Was that not already clear?" Franz questioned.

"Look here, you heathens!"

Everyone turned towards the castle hole, where the tiny knights gathered. Will and Mabel were dismayed, to see Dipper and Bill unconscious, and tied together on top of the castle.

The main knight glared down at them. "Deliver the sticker to us, or we will have no choice but to cut off their heads!"

"What!?" Will shouted.

"Not so fast, landlubbers!" The Lilliputtian from the pirate ship shouted. The light shone on, revealing that they captured Sergei. "If you're gonna play dirty, so are we. Give us the sticker, or he walks the plank!"

"No, give ze sticker to us!" A French Lilliputtian yelled, his friends shouting in agreement.

"Give it to the miners! Give it to the miners!" The miners clambered. Soon, every Lilliputtian began an argument.

Mabel gritted her teeth, before shouting. "ENOUGH!"

The entire pack silenced, and she glared down at them. "You know what? No one gets the sticker!"

"Scare-boo!" A French Lilliputtian yelled, and the others joined in on booing her.

"Nope, stop booing," Mabel said, angrily. "You're not getting the sticker, because you're all jerks! Why can't you all get along?"

"Because we hate each other!" A Lilliputtian yelled.

"That's kinda how rivalry works, lass," A pirate noted.

"Well," Mabel paused, glancing at Pacifica. "Maybe, rivalries are dumb. Maybe, you don't settle them with petty competition. Maybe, the only way to be da best, is to stop fighting and work together!"

She peeled the sticker off her shirt, before balling it up and eating it. In return, the Lilliputtians gasped, then murmured to themselves.

"I get it now," Franz realized. "If we work together..."

"Then we can cut open her belly and get the sticker!" The pirate finished, banishing a mini sword. The Lilliputtians cheered, and rushed forward.

"Get ze girl, slice her open!" The French Lilliputtian yelled.

As the tiny people ran by, they accidentally turned the switch that that started the windmill. The blades began to rotate violently, with Pacifica nearing it.

Mabel's eyes widened. "Pacifica!"

While she ran to her aid, Will turned to the castle hole, where Dipper and Bill were still trapped. He was about to run to their help, when there was a distressing call from Sergei.

"Help! Mister William!" Sergei yelled, losing his balance on the pirate ship. "Het! Het!"

"Don't worry, the water is shallow!" Will called back. "There's no way you can drown--" Sergei fell facedown in the water. "Seriously?" Will sighed, before making his way to the castle.

Meanwhile, Mabel was busy untying Pacifica from the windmill. When she finally loosened the last rope, she picked up the blonde before she could hit the whirling blades. Mabel carried her away from the windmill, falling on her knees.

"You're alright, now," Mabel breathed in relief, holding Pacifica close to her chest.

Seconds later, Pacifica stirred in her arms. The blonde's eyes opened, then they widened when seeing Mabel.

"Mabel, what are you--"

"I'll explain later," Mabel told her. She realized she was still holding Pacifica, before releasing her, blushing. "Anyway, I might need your help."

Pacifica regarded her in confusion. "Help for what?"

"There she is!"

The two turned, and saw they were surrounded by Lilliputtians. Mabel gasped, then darted her eyes to the floor. There, laid hers and Pacifica's golf clubs. She quickly picked hers up, before handing the other to Pacifica.

"Ready to putt?" Mabel said, with a smirk.

Pacifica smirked back, taking the golf club. "You know it."

The two stood up, and as the little people charged forward, they swung their golf clubs at them. The Lilliputtians were flung in different directions.

"You're not half bad," Pacifica said, while swinging her club. "A little rusty, but--"

"Shut up, and putt!" Mabel instructed.

The two carried on, until their path was cleared. A moment later, Will came forward, followed by Bill and Dipper, who had regained consciousness.

"Will, you saved them," Mabel smiled. "Also, why are you wearing a tiny crown?"

Will was wearing a miniature crown on his head, and he looked a little distressed. "In order to save them from the knights, I had to overthrow their king...long story short, things got pretty dark, and I am forever haunted by my sins."

"Will, their king was an empty coffee cup," Bill told him. "All you did, was step on it."

"That doesn't make me feel any less bad," Will replied, sadly.

Dipper groaned, rubbing his forehead. "Ugh, remind me to never come here."

"Too bad for you, you're never leaving," Franz sneered. Behind him, the other Lilliputtians were closing up the exit.

"This has gone too far, Franz," Mabel shot back. "Let us through."

"Never!" He growled. "You betrayed us. Without us, you would've never won against Pacifica!"

"Mabel, what are they talking about?" Pacifica asked, and Mabel flinched.

"I...I used these guys to help me cheat," Mabel admitted. The blonde stared, before glaring at the brunette.

Franz laughed cruelly. "You call yourself a golfer, Mabel? That club is basically useless in your hands!"

Mabel gripped her club, before grinning. "Oh yeah? What's two plus two?"

"Uh, what?" Franz replied, in confusion.

"FOUR!" Mabel shouted, smacking him with her club.

He screamed, before falling into the bonus hole. The fake volcano glowed, before shooting a column of fake lava. The rest of the Lilliputtians stared at the oozing lava, before turning to the group fearfully.

Dipper turned to Bill. "Hey, do you remember how I said you shouldn't destroy private property?"

"Yeah," Bill said.

"I changed my mind."

Bill smirked, before lighting his hands on fire.

Wendy and Stan sat on the ground, playing cards. Their game was interrupted, when the entrance of the park exploded, smoke pouring out. As the smoke cleared, it revealed the group stepping out.

"I'm guessing you guys had fun," Stan said, not looking away from his cards.

"Hardly," Pacifica spat, glaring at Mabel.

Mabel frowned. "Pacifica, I'm--"

"Don't even say it!" She snapped. "Do you have any idea what you did? And if you think saving my life made up for it, then--"

Mabel handed her a kitten sticker, with the words 'I a-PAW-logize' on it. "I'm sorry, Pacifica. I shouldn't have cheated, you would've won, fair and square."

Pacifica frowned at her. Grudgingly, she accepted the sticker and placed it on her shirt. "You're lucky, that this sticker looks fantastic on me."

Mabel laughed softly, then she stepped closer to the blonde. "Well, to make it up to you, how about I walk you home?"

"You mean, just the two of us?" Pacifica asked. When Mabel nodded, she turned pink and looked away shyly. "Alright, I'll allow it..."

Mabel smiled, and together, the two female Guardians walked out of the parking lot. The others watched them go, smiling to themselves.

"This night was crazy, but at least it ended on a good note," Bill said. He glanced at Dipper, suddenly remembering the kiss, before blushing and turning away.

"You know," Will started. "I can't help but think we're forgetting something..."

Inside the park, the Lilliputtians gathered, singing a song.

"We control the balls! We control the balls! From Birmingham to Montreal! We control the balls!"

"Hey guys, I figured it out!" A miner stepped forward. "We control the balls!"

"Now he gets it!" Another Lilliputtian smiled, both laughing, before beginning to sing once more.

"Our lives are filled with nonstop fun! But there's nothing like a hole in one!"

The Lilliputtians struck a finishing pose. Sergei, who had been watching, clapped at their performance.

"Can I go home now?" He asked.

"NEVER!"
