"So how long have you been playing football? " Louis asked as we walked further from my house  I smiled nothing satisfies me more than talking about football.

"For as long as I can remember really, at elementary school I won this school medal I remember being.... " I stopped feeling like I let him know too much, "yeah it was nice, I kept on bringing more medals, "

"Nice, for how long have you been team captain back in L.A?" He asked yet another question,

"Why too many questions? "I asked,

"It's only my 2nd one? " he defended, I chuckled answering,

"About 3 months, but I have known my team mates for so long, " "let's talk about you though, what do you do? "

"I have fun, you know everything you don't do!" he answered

"Funny, for real! How old are you even? "

"I am 21 actually I turned 21 a couple of months ago,"

"What seriously! You're old" I chuckled,

"How old are you? You don't look that young either! "

"Excuse you, I am 18"

"Hmmm! How amusing!" He replied

I shook my head, what an idiot, I heard someone call his name from behind. I stopped, so he did.

"Hi! " she said

"How are you love! " he said, back with the flirtatious comments.

"I am such a huge fan, can I ask for a picture? " she said, I wanted to laugh she wants a picture with that duck face.

"Why of course love" he answered, taking her phone and snapping a picture himself.

"Thank you so much, " she said, hugging him.

"The last performance was incredible, enjoy your time off though. Bye!" The girl took off.

Okay..... What is he? Juggler? But than again too much of a duck face. He can't save his life by kicking a ball, definitely not a juggler. I caught myself laughing at my thoughts.

"What was that? " I asked,

"One of our fans?" He said like it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Slepinded!" I said cheefully, "What do you mean 'Our fans' ?" I asked my tone changing.

"I am in band, One Direction?" He said,

"What kind of band?" I asked,

"Musical Pop Act band," he explained.

"You can sing? "

"I can I am not good at it though,"

"Do you have albums?" I asked

"Two" he replied.

"For how many years have you been in the band?"

"Two and half years" he replied.

"How many are you in the band?"

"Too many questions? 4 other lads and I," he laughed imitating me horribly, yet answering.

"Lads? " I asked

"Ah yeah! You're American. It means guys, dudes, boys! "

"I get it enough with the impressively horrible American accent " I said,

"We are almost there,"

"Are your friends there yet?"

"Yeah! I already told them you're coming" He replied

"Don't want to meet them, so I am off."

"They're really nice guys, " Louis praised,

"Don't push it duck face, "

"Nina are you always this rude?"

"To people like you? Yeah I am, and if you don't like it then I am gone have a shit night," I said

"Look I haven't done anything to you! Why don't you just try and give someone a chance to be friends with you? It costs nothing to be nice! " he said,

"I don't want to be friends with anyone, " I shouted, we had now stopped walking luckly there weren't people around.

"I really do feel sorry for my sister, " he said,

I inhaled sharply exhaling, "okay fine! We're going for dinner, with your friends,  and then I am going to my place. Don't want to see you again! " I said

Before I know it we were at some dinner place, Louis spotted someone waving,  walking towards them.

"Be nice! " he gritted threw his teeth,

I shook him off, ready to beat him up. "You're not my dad! "

"Hay lads, this is Nina! " he said setting down,

"Hi nice to meet you, I am Harry!" A curly brown haired guy said pulling his hand out for me to shake. To which I did under glares from Louis.

"Hi I am Nizam, and that's Stan and Natalie,"

I nodded setting down, knowing I am here just for dinner. This is going to be one hell of a boring night, the guys chatted about everything guys would chat about and I sat there listening.

The girl tried opening up a conversation with me,  until she just gave up and started eating her 'oh so healthy salad ' God I hated people like her.

Mom and dad always; always, said that I am so judgmental, and that I need to think good of people.

But not after last time, I was only 15 when I had this guy Max as my boyfriend he was 17 and the bastered cheated on me. Like what? We dated for 2 weeks!

We weren't a thing at all, but I just didn't like admitting I got cheated on.

Up to this day, no one but Iris knows about Max.

And Yeah that's right, that's the longest I dated a guy. I don't like routine, so I change up.

Nothing could have prepared me to this change thou, new school, new team now, new people.

I can't say I like it, because I really don't. I Was so shocked at Lottie wanting to be friends with me, it's not Louis specifically I just don't like guys in general and he's so annoying.

"So Nina! Nina is it? " One guy asked,

I felt my face dropping, what's up with him! Stupid! "It is, " I said softly faking it so bad, the thing when I fake sweetness I make it very obvious.

He cleared he throat, "Nizam btw, Louis told us you play "

"Play? " I asked waiting for him to continue,

"Football! " he added,

"You gotta problem, " I felt someone brushing my leg under the table. Oh he is so dead!

He brushed my leg harshly again, "I do play football, maybe I could teach you someday, " I replied,

Louis mouthed 'sorry mate ' to him, I didn't really care so I carried on eating.

"What was that? " I asked Louis as soon as we stepped out of the restaurant.

"What was what? You were rude to my best friends? " he said

"You didn't really have to bring me here! Who are you even I don't know you! "

"That's right, I probably shouldn't, " he said, and continued walking silently.

I am not going to apologize it's never been an option and it never will be, I have always been right.

Right?

Of course right?

Why am I even letting him doubt me?

"Nina! "

I rolled my eyes, oh look he's turned into a softy.  He should really shut it,

"What? "

"Please don't hurt my sister, her last best friend of 3 years turned up on her. Since then she's been really fragile, and has trust issues with people. It was nice to see her finally get along with people again. I just want to say be there for her when she needs you okay!" He ended, I have to admit I didn't see that coming.

I could be rude, I could be a jerk and a trouble maker but I never turn on my friends, "okay, I promise! " I said

He smiled, "you know what I will take you somewhere! Follow me!"

"What! Okay! Okay! " as he dragged me by the shoulder,

"Come on! It's closed, don't make any noise! ", he whispers,

"And I thought I was the rebellious one " I muttered,

"For all the times I broke out of hotels, and sneaked into bowling alleys I think I am quite the outlaw of the group! " he said,

We climbed up the fence, I followed Louis into the dark room. "Ready! " he asked

"I don't know where... " I was cut off when he turned the lights on!

A huge football field, this small Yorkshire place has this huge place?

It was so cool to be here, I ran out to the bleachers, I have never been to a real football field and also an empty one, when I was back in L.A my team and I would train a week before the game in the field only for a couple of hours under strict regulations.

"This is cool! "

"I use to train here when I was younger, but the place shut down because there weren't enough funds. But they'll reopen it again once I pay for it!"

I was slightly shocked he would want to do that, I guess he's not really that bad after all.

We sat down, "how much will it coast? " I asked,

"I don't know, but it will make a lot of people happy, " he said

"Can I come here again ?"

"Sure, maybe when I owe this place I will lend it to you so you could train some kids! "

I have always justified all the mistakes in my life, guess I will have to start learning to be less judgmental.

I nudged his shoulder, a chuckle escaping my lips.
