May we know a few words about yourself?

sure! I’m 27 years old, a wife and a mother and I’m from the uk! I’ve been writing since I was 8so a very long time lol. I also have a degree in creative writing :)

When did you start writing either on this platform or in normal way?

I started writing when I was 8 years old. Short stories and stuff. Then I wrote my first book at 12.I came to Wattpad in 2012 from inkpop which had shut down. :)

What is your motivation to write?

it’s more of a case of I can’t NOT write hahaha. I guess it’s that that gives me motivation. Alsothat I just need to tell the story of what I’m currently writing haha. Writing relaxes me really and
sometimes works as a therapy xD

How did you feel when you got to know that you are the winner?

totally shocked and honoured. Thankful as well ❤️

Did you ever face criticism? If yes how did you overcome it?

I have! Plenty of it haha. If it's constructive criticism, I always welcome the chance to see thingsfrom a reader's perspective. But if it's plain hatred, I tend to ignore it. I'm not a perfect writer and Icould always use improvement, which is why I love feedback - I think both age and my degreehelped with facing it. It's tough when you first receive it, it's just something I've learned is ways of
improving. We as people and writers can always learn, and criticism (constructive anyway) is aform of helping with that! :)

When did you came across this genre or this fan fiction category?

I came across it growing up. I started writing mystery/thriller and as my reading preferenceschanged when I got older, so did my writing preferences. I branched out into general fiction and
then experimented with writing some romance scenes within those stories. I found I loved craftingemotions and romantic tension, so tried my hand at writing romance. Then from then I love writing romance/chick lit and sometimes more general fiction but I love the dynamics of romance in
anything I write XD

What was your opinion about our awards and the way we hosted it?

it was a really well communicated and ran award. Simple to enter and know what was happening!

How do you handle writers block?

I usually go for a walk, or listen to some music (or both ha!) and that usually gets the brain flowingand inspiration flowing! If it doesn't, I work on something else for a while until the inspiration hitsagain <3

Do you plan on taking writing as a profession?

I'd love to! I sort of write all the time when I'm not at work as it is, so I sort of do it as a part timejob now. But I'd love to one day be that romantic ideal of a full time published author XD Hopefully!

What was the response you got when you first published this book ?

Really good. Sometimes I tend to tackle hard hitting topics, so sometimes it can get a little...controversial in my comments section, but mainly people keep their opinions strictly to the
plot/characters, which is really welcome! I like to think I write realistic characters, so people just getreally into the characters and what they're going through which is what I love <3

Is there any advice you would like to give to teenagers out there ?

Just keep writing <3 Read lots, and enjoy what you're writing. Don't write something that youwouldn't read because it'll become a chore. Writing takes practice and you will never be perfect, sojust get the ideas onto paper and keep going. You can't edit a blank page ;)
