"Wake up, Noelle." A familiar female voice called out.

Noelle opens her eyes, to see a female silhouette of a mature woman resembling herself, standing in front of a doorway, the scenery behind her being a bright, blinding light.

"M...Mother?"

Noelle then widened her eyes in surprise as her voice sounded different. She looked down onto her small hands, to see that her body is rather shorter and smaller in size as well. She has regressed into that of her 10 year old self, her disheveled bangs covering her right eye a moment later.

"You will be my avenger, Noelle. Like the rest of our bloodline, you inherited the bloodlust."

"W...What do you mean by that, Mother?"

"Eliminate everyone. Shogun-Sama, the Fatui, and everyone else. That is your sole purpose! Now go forth, and destroy all in your path for me!"

"Wait, Mother!"

Noelle then felt a stinging pain coming from inside her head causing her to reflexively clutch the sides of it.

"AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Images then flashed to her head as she screamed in agony. The sight of roses, tainted with blood followed with a few blurry figures resembling bandits in a cave which then transitioned to their bodies being beaten up to the point that their faces are no longer recognizable.

"Ughhh!?"

Another image flashes, a woman resembling Signora gasping in pain, and Noelle herself looking at her hands, covered in blood. She then slowly walked towards a body of water inside the cave, to see her reflection. She saw those demonic crimson eyes staring back at her.

With a loud gasp, Noelle opens her eyes, to see her back in her present day form. She frantically looked at her hands, to see that they are now clean.

"J...Just a nightmare... But Mother... What do you mean by those...? That is not like who you are in the otherworld..."

"Noelle! We're about to visit Poisson with the others to check on Keqing's work on the new infrastructure!" Paimon called out.

"Understood, please give me a minute, Lady Paimon!"

'I really hope that is just a dream, and nothing else...'
