I JUST HAD TO INCLUDE THE DATE I'M SORRRRRRYYYYY! 😭😭😭😭 NOW HERE'S THE HEARTBREAKING STORY FOR YOU:

Just before he shipped out, he and Kat got this one picture, and Kat had him take it as something to keep his spirits up in the trenches. Thinking he could go home to her soon (possibly just-after-the-*tearful cough*-next mission-* tearful cough*-soon) he sent the picture back ahead of him with this note. 

Yep. I hate myself😭. This is why I'm laying in bed crying my eyes out at 11:30 pm. 

But on a happier note: You HAVE to look up Love That Boy by Dinah Shore! It fit's Bucky so good and I can see Kat sitting by the radio reading a letter from him and listening to it going "yep. That's my man."
