I'm still here in my room, I don't want to get out because there's a chance he is outside of that door. I don't know why he chases me, he may just leave me alone for goodness sake.

I walk to my painting room and close the door to be sure. I slowly open my curtain and the window.

Looking at the outside, it's not the same scenery as back then but I love this more. I will rather choose a view of a plain grass field rather than that view where people are happy. It's not that I don't want to be happy but I always remember my past parents if the scenery of the people is so happy.

Closing my eyes and singing a particular song in which I sang back then. I sang this song so happy at that time but now I sing it sadly. It's like I'm singing a song of grief even though the meaning is so far from being gloomy.

I continue singing it, I sing louder as I can to take this pain away. To take this pain I carry as long as I'm living from this world. Not really caring about other's opinion, they can call me crazy singing like this.

When I finish singing, I breathe deeper and release it afterward. This makes me feel good, taking all my pain by singing.

I turn around and see this guy standing at my door with his eyes wide open. And I didn't expect him to say that name "Leanne... " he immediately shifts his facial expression when I twisted my brows.

"What did you just call me, Highness? " I ask sarcastically to him because I'm Zelene now and not Leanne.

Leanne is already dead, years ago.

"I just called you, Leanne... " while looking at me seriously.
"I know that, and what I'm asking you is why did you call me Leanne? It's the name of the dead princess. " clarifying it to him "I'm so sure that my name is Zelene so please don't mistake me for anyone. That's what I hate the most. " I said annoyingly so I can cover my nervousness or else he will discover everything.

He walks towards me then stopping in front of my eyes. He is so tall now compared in the past, I wish I can gain a little bit of height. I'm not blessed on that aspect even though until now.

"I will ask you something? Why did you run when you say those words? " I know since he was young that he was so smart, that's why he easily manipulates me.
"What words? " I ask to him innocently.
"You said I make you parents life miserable again? Yes, we are in a war back then but it's not that complicated we have a neutral relationship. "

I ignore him and clasp my hands together while looking outside. Why do I have to explain it to him, it's not that he will gain something from me.

"You don't have any right to question me while you are in my father's territory, Highness. " I said without any hint of emotion.
"I do have a right to ask you because you run away in front of me. "

I just look at him boringly then sigh afterward, I don't want to talk to him anymore because I'm getting confused every time he is near me.

"Please just leave, I'm really tired of talking to you. " I look outside to distract myself, I must not fall in love again in the person who betrays me. " You must not care about someone who rejected you. This princess in front of you... " I turn again to him and smile sadly. "Is a person who you must not marry in all cost for the sake of your future. So leave and don't let me see your face ever again. "

I suddenly saw hurt in his eyes when I said those words. He suddenly nods in what I said and leaves without saying goodbye. I actually didn't expect that especially he chase me all the way here.

But, this is all for the better, all of those moments are already over since that day. The day which I choose to leave everything behind, so I can forget all our happy moments, that he said are all fake and all just acts.

I gulp to control my emotion which is about to be released but it's not successful and my tears suddenly fall down. I just let it be...

These memories in my mind are the only evidence and only reason for me to think straight, and not to make any mistakes again. And for me not to repeat those mistakes is avoiding him and getting far away from him.
