Manik sat on floor with a thud while everyone gathered around him. Soon his phone started ringing. He looked at phone blankly. Ansh's name was flashing. He kept looking at the call. Mac came forward and answered.

"Hello Manik?"

"Sir, Mac here."

"Mac? Where's Manik? I need to talk to him. It's urgent." Mac looked at Manik who was numb.

"Sir, Manik sir isn't responding. He just saw the news of Bomb blast and.."

"Bring him to the construction site. Fast."

"Ok sir."

Mac shook Manik after ending the call. Manik looked at him.

"Sir, Ansh sir called you at construction site immediately. Let's go-" before Mac could complete Manik was running out of office like a mad. Mac ran behind him. All employees were stunned to see their boss like this.

Manik screeched the car near construction site. There was police, ambulance and so much crowd. He jumped out of car and ran towards site. Police held him back. He was jerking them with full force.

"Leave me. No! Let me go inside. My Golu is there inside. She needs me. Let me goooo. She needs me. Chodo mujhe! Leave meeee!" Manik was shouting like mad. Ansh came running hearing his voice and hold him.

"Manik, manik relax. Sab thik hai. Everything is fine. Manik listen to me." Ansh tried to talk.

"Ansh tu pagal hogaya hai. Nandini andar hai. Usey humari zaroorat hai. How can you be so relax? Ask them to leave me. I need to go. Nandiniiiii!" Manik shouted and tried to get free.

Ansh tried to say something but Manik wasn't in condition to listen. He had gone insane. Having enough of this, Ansh shouted.

"Enough Manik Malhotra. Meri behen andar nahi hain. Nandini is safe! Suna tumne? Nandini is all safe and sitting over there. Look from your eyes." Hearing his shout Manik went quiet and his eyes moved to the direction Ansh showed. He felt his heart started beating again.

There, his Nandini was sitting on chair and having water. Seeing him getting calm, police left him while he walked towards her with slow steps. Ansh walked behind him. Feeling someone's gaze Nandini looked at her side and found Manik coming towards her. She looked at him with teary eyes.

Manik dropped on his knees infront of her and cupped her face. His tears fell. Ansh kept hand on his shoulder. He looked at Ansh and confirmed.

"G-Golu theek hain?" Ansh nodded with tears. Manik smiled wide and hugged Nandini sobbing hard. Nandini hugged him back.

"You're fine. You're fine. Nothing happened to you. My golu is fine. All fine." He kept on blabbering while sobbing. Nandini cried too.

"M-Manik. Sshh. Calm down. Main theek hu. Dekho mujhe." She managed to speak. He looked so vulnerable. So scared. Scared of loosing her.

Manik kept hugging her tight while crying but soon his cries subsided and Nandini felt his whole weight on her. She slowly looked at his face breaking the hug and got shocked seeing his closed eyes.

"Manik! Bhai, dekho Manik ko kya hua. Manik! Manik utho." She shouted crying. Ansh held Manik and patted his cheek.

"Manik, hey buddy, open your eyes." He immediately called for help while few people helped him to get in car. Nandini sat beside him while Ansh on driver sit. She was sobbing badly.

"M-Manik.. Manik aankhe kholo. Dekho main thik hu. Utho na." She cried hugging him close to her heart. Ansh was driving at high speed towards hospital.

Soon they reached nearby hospital and Manik was immediately taken inside.

Doctor came outside after checking him. Nandini and Ansh rushed to him.

"How's he? Is he awake?" Ansh asked. Doctor smiled at him.

"Don't worry Mr. Murthy, Mr. Malhotra is absolutely fine. Because of sudden shock and stress he fainted. Nothing to worry. Now he's sleeping. And will be up in an hour or so. You can take him home." Ansh sighed.

"Thank you so much doctor." Doctor nodded and left. He looked at Nandini who was looking down.

"Nandi.." Nandini looked at him and sobbed.

"Because of me.. he.. is here. Hai na bhai?" She hiccupped. Ansh made her sit on chair and make her drink a water. She was looking at him like a kid. He rubbed her tears.

"No Nandi. It's not because of you. You have no fault in this." Nandini just nodded in no pressing her lips. Ansh held her hand in his.

"Now listen to me carefully. You know how much protective and possessive Manik is for you, don't you?" She nodded while sniffing.

"He can never imagine something bad happening with you. He is not only your best friend. He cares for you like papa. He calls you golu, right?" She nodded again.

"Then you tell me, who will be happy seeing his child suffering? He loves his best friend so much. He's scared to loose you. He was going all mad when he reached at construction site. Just to meet you." Nandini cried.

"The harsh words he used when you were in hospital was his anger, his fear, his insecurities. He doesn't want to lose you. He can't see you in pain. He was scared for you. Same like today." Nandini looked at him while he cupped her cheek.

"He never meant to hurt you or scratch your old wounds. It was highly unintentional. Forgive him, Nandi. He was dying to talk with you. He's very guilty." Nandini hugged him and sobbed saying sorry.

"I'm sorry, bhai. I'm really sorry. I behaved very rudely with him. I- I just dint think in this way. I'm really sorry bhai." Ansh patted her back with a small smile.

"It's okay. Vaise bhi that kamina made my baby cry. Toh chotisi punishment toh banti thi." Ansh said winking at her. Nandini slapped his shoulder.

"Shut up bhai. Don't say anything about Mani." Ansh rolled his eyes.

"Lou bhai. Aa gayi Mani ki golu in action." Nandini giggled. Ansh also laughed with her.

"Ah! My head hurts. Uggh." Manik said while opening his eyes while holding his head. He looked at surrounding and got he's in hospital.

"Main, hospital mei.." suddenly he remembered the events happened before and he panicked.

"Golu? I met golu there? Was she real? Or it was a dream? I- I need to go from here. I need to see her right now." Manik said and was about to remove his saline when door opened with a bang revealing Ansh and Nandini.

Manik looked at her without blinking his eyes. He was making sure that it's not dream and she's really here. Nandini ran towards him and jumped on him crying.

"Mani!" She sobbed keeping her head in crook of his neck. He came in sense hearing her cry and hugged her back tightly. His own tears flowed. She was clinging to him. Ansh chuckled.

"Arey Nandi, you will break his bones now. Leave him. See he can't even breathe. My poor boy." Nandini immediately broke the hug and Manik glared at Ansh after wiping his own tears. He was on cloud nine seeing her all safe, in his arms.

"I-I m sorry. Mani.. is it paining? Dard ho raha hai? Should I call doctor? Haan wait. I'll call doc-"

"Sssh! Shaant meri rajdhani express. Relax. Take a breathe. I'm fine. See." Said Manik cupping her cheek while her tears fell again.

"Ghanta fine! Kya haalat banayi hui hai apni. Dekha hai apne aap ko? Jaan nikal gayi thi meri when I saw you like that. You scared me to hell, idiot. You are very bad. I won't talk with you." She complained sniffing like a child. Manik smiled brightly.

"Oh Madam! Look who's talking about scaring people. Logo ko darana toh koi tumse sikhe. You scared me to death. And now getting angry on me only? Not fair." Nandini kept sniffing looking down while Manik looked at Ansh. He blinked his eyes at Manik. Manik sighed.

"Golu.." Nandini just shook her head and hugged him again while crying.

"I'm sorry Mani. I'm sorry for everything. I'm so sorry." She cried fisting his shirt with her palm. Manik rubbed her back.

"Sssh! Bas bas! It's okay baba. Golu, shhh! Bas hua ab. Look at me. Idhar dekho." Breaking the hug Nandini looked at him. Manik wiped her tears.

"Arey babare! Itne mote mote Aansu?
Flood aajayega hospital mei, Golu baby. Fir sab doob jayenge. Aur mujhe toh tairna bhi nei aata." Manik said dramatically to which Ansh laughed. Nandini hit on his head.

"Liar liar pants on fire. I know you know swimming. Jhoota kahika. Idiot!" Nandini pouted angrily. Manik frowned.

"Again you called me idiot. You forgot to respect your client. You should-"

"Shut up! You are my best friend, My Mani. And I can say anything to you, you idiot! And dare you make me cry again I'll punch you." Saying this Nandini showed him her fist while Manik took her in tight hug laughing out loud.

Screen freezes on their smiling faces.
