"Happy Birthday Ansh!"

Everyone shouted loudly and a big balloon bursted on Ansh's head showering him with flower petals. Ansh stood shock. He was awestruck seeing the decorations and Cake. Along with Malhotras, Fab 3 were also present as they are also the part of family.

"Is this a dream?" He whispered in shock. Everybody laughed and Manik jumped on him.

"No buddy. This is reality. See!" Saying this he pinched him hard. Ansh winced loudly.

"Aaoooww! Kameene!" Manik laughed and hugged him.

"Happiest birthday Ansh! I wish you get all happiness in your life." Ansh hugged him back. His eyes were moist.

Breaking the hug, he moved near NiyoRaj and took their blessings. Both hugged him one by one and wished.

He then moved to Cabir when suddenly Cabir shouted-

"Oh no no no! No need to touch my feet Ansh bhai. My blessings are always with you." Everyone laughed while Ansh punched him lightly on his stomach.

"Tere pair nahi, meri jooti tere muh ko chuyegi. Ruk tu." Cabir showed him battisi and muttered a quick sorry giving hug and wished.

Fab 3 also wished him one by one as Manbir told them that he and Nandini are their close friends and also a family member. Ansh was smiling but he was searching someone else in all people.

"What are you looking for, Anshu?" Niyonika asked while Ansh sighed.

"Nothing Niyo Maa. Thank you so much everyone for your lovely surprise but I can't celebrate my birthday when Nandi is at home alone and sick. I'm sorry." He apologized with a sad face while everyone smiled brightly.

"And if I say, I'm not sick anymore and wanna celebrate your birthday, then also you will not, bhai?" Comes the voice from Ansh's back and his eyes widened. He turned around and found Nandini standing there smiling at him. He was looking at her in shock. She giggled.

"Why are looking like this? Nandi ka bhoot nahi hai. I'm real only. Standing infront of you all decked up in this heavy dress mumma gave. You know I told mumma this is so heavy but she dint listen. And now you are also standing like statue looking at me. I'm sure I'm looking horrible and if you won't cake cut soon na then I'll-" before she could continue further she was taken in the tight bear hug by Ansh. Nandini smiled and hugged him back. Her neck got wet with his tears.

"Bhai! Sssh! Look at me. Why are you crying? You should be happy na? See.. we all are celebrating your birthday together." Nandini said breaking the hug while wiping his tears. He held her palms and kissed on it gently.

"I'm sorry, Nandi! I really I am! I shouldn't have behave like that. Sorry for hurting you. So so sorry, baby." Ansh cried cupping her face. Nandini's tears also fell. But she smiled.

"You weren't at fault bhai. Mistake was mine. I was careless. Even I behaved so rudely with you from morning. I spoilt your birthday. I made you cry. I'm very sorry. Please don't cry na." Nandini apologized holding her both ears cutely. Ansh nodded in no while removing her hands from ears. He pecked her forehead lovingly. Everyone adored the bond of brother-sister with moist eyes.

"Please take care of yourself. You know how much important you are for me. For us! I was very scared. I love you so much, my baby." Said Ansh cupping her cheeks. Nandini squeezed his hand and nodded smiling.

"I know bhai. This won't happen again. I love you dherrrrr sara!" Said Nandini spreading her arms wide. Everyone chuckled. Ansh pulled her cheeks tight to which she made faces while shouting.

"Aaaaaaa! Chodo bhai! Mummaa! See bhai is pulling my cute cheeks!" Ansh left her cheeks and all laughed. She glared at all and hugged Niyonika pouting.

"Oyy! Don't you dare to laugh on my Nandu. I'll beat you all. Samjhe?" Niyonika scolded to which Nandini showed her tongue to all. Ansh made faces.

"Niyo Maa, birthday mera hai. Aap sara attention iss potato ko na de!" He teased looking at Nandini while she fumed.

"Bhai! How dare you call me potato! You-"

"Bas bas enough you two. Aise hi chalta raha toh Ansh ka next birthday aaya toh bhi hum yahi rahenge." Manik spoke in between rolling his eyes.

Nandini went silent. All looked at each other while Ansh squeezed Manik's hand in assurance. He gave him faint smile and nodded.

"Ok chalo now, let's cut the cake Ansh bhai! Show some mercy on me. Oh god I'm so much hungry." Cabir said rubbing his tummy. All laughed. Mukti smacked his head.

"Ayee joker! Abhi abhi toh itnaa sara khaya. Voh gaya kaha? Bhukkad kahika!" Cabir glared at her rubbing his head. Everyone laughed.

"Haan haan I'm bhukkad! Now chalo." Saying this he dragged Ansh with him.

Everyone gathered around him while he blowed the candles and cut the cake. Everyone sang birthday song and hooted loudly. Nandini took the piece and fed him. He fed her too. Everyone fed him after her one by one. Later Nandini looked at Cabir and winked. Next moment Ansh's whole face was all creamy! Nandini laughed loudly along with all others. Ansh's jaw dropped down!

"Nandiiiiiiii!!!" He shouted angrily and threw a cake piece on her to which she missed it and it landed on Cabir's face. Everyone gasped and laughed loudly.

"Ansh bhaiiii!" Cabir ran behind him holding another cake in his hand behind Ansh. When he threw it on Ansh, Ansh missed it and it fell on Mukti! Cabir widened his eyes and turned his express back. Mukti ran behind him while Nandini was laughing looking all this sitting in between Raj and Niyonika. Everyone was smeared with cake except Nandini, NiyoRaj and Manik. Cabir mistakenly threw cake which landed on Manik's nose. Everyone gasped.

Manik widened his eyes in shock and touched his nose removing cake. He gritted his teeth.

"Run for your life, Cabirrr!" And next second hall echoed with a loud laughter and Manbir chasing game. They were jumping from sofa so Niyo, Raj and Nandini got up and stood at a side. Cabir came near them while running and Manik came back of him. He hided behind Nandini holding her.

"Cabir come out, you monkey! I'll not leave you." Cabir laughed.

"First catch me, bro!" Saying this he pushed Nandini a little because Manik came forward but getting disbalance Nandini striked with Manik and both fell down. Manik was holding Nandini by her waist while she was on top of him. Hall went silent as both had an eyelock.

Manik slowly removed hairs from her face. She was looking at him without blinking her eyes. Both of theirs heart was beating fast.

Everyone had teasing look on their faces. Raj faked a cough. Both came in sense. Nandini moved aside looking here and there.

"Are you ok, golu?" Manik asked worriedly. She just nodded. Cabir helped her to get up while Ansh helped Manik.

"I- I will just come changing my dress." Saying this she left towards guest room. Everyone raised their brows at Manik. His ears turned pink.

"I- also need to change." Saying this he ran to his room while everyone laughed.

All were sitting in lounge after dinner. 

"Arey barbie! Your introduction left with fab 3. Lemme introduce." Cabir said gaining everyone's attention.

"The chudail who's beside me is Mukti Vardhan, The cuchicoo baby booby couple who's sitting infront of you is Aliya Vardhan and Dhruv Vedant. Make up kit Aliya is baby sister of this chudail lady bheem." Cabir said to which Mukti gave him 2,3 punches. Everyone laughed.

"And fab 3, this is my cute little sister, my barbie, Nandini Murthy i.e. The NM!" Cabir said proudly. Nandini smiled at fab 3 which they returned gladly.

"Hey guys! Nice to meet you all." Nandini greeted.

"Feelings are Mutual, Nandini!" Fab 3 greeted back. Ansh thought something and spoke-

"Guys, Fab 5 is there on my birthday. Ek performance toh banta hai boss! What's say Manik?" Manik looked at him in surprise.

"But Ansh-"

"Come on, Manik! Its been too long we performed. Let's rock, buddy!" Dhruv said. Mukti, Aliya and Cabir agreed. Manik looked at Nandini who was already looking at him. Seeing him looking at her she quickly averted her gaze. Manik sighed and agreed.

"Okay!" All hooted. They arranged their respective instruments and took a position. Nandini looked at all silently. Manik closed his eyes strimming the guitar.

Manik opened his eyes and sang looking at Nandini. Everyone looked at each other and blinked their eyes.

Nandini looked at Aliya and Mukti and gave them smile while showing thumbs indicating they are doing amazing. Manik smiled sadly.

Manik sang looking straight at Nandini while she looked at him a moment befor turning her face to Cabir. Nandini looked at Cabir and raised her eyebrows in impressive manner to which he slightly bend continuing his drumming. She chuckled a little.

Manik remembered their moments, their friendship, their fun and closed his eyes smiling in content. Nandini looked at him.

Manik opened his moist eyes looking at Nandini and pleaded through his eyes. She looked down holding her breath as it was difficult for her to stop her tears. She knew! It was for her. The song was meant for her!

Song ended and everyone clapped. Nandini got up from her sit and smiled at fab 4!

"You guys were amazing. Now excuse me please, I'm getting call from my P.A. you all continue." Saying this she ran inside.

Manik looked at her vanishing figure and sighed. He kept his guitar aside and left behind her.
