Who You Are Meant To Be
Jieun slowly opened her eyes. Vision blurred with blood. It pained her to move. She moved her eyes to look around. Jennie to her left, Yoongi to her right, and Ziema's body in front of her. There were a few human bodies. But they were definitely dead. She tried sitting up but immediately cried out in pain.
"Princess." A voice croaked. She turned her head and saw Jennie reach her hand towards her.
Jieun reached for hers and held it tightly.
"My princess, are you okay?" Jennie whispered.
Jieun squeezed her eyes tightly. She tried to stop from crying but began to sob.
She began hearing other sobs around her.
Zabian was soon overflowing with cries of loss and pain. Hoseok eventually got up, his wounds not that bad. He pulled Jieun and Jennie up. Yoongi helping others.
"My brothers! Where are my brothers?" Jieun looked around quickly.
"Your majesty, the king and his love were taken by humans along with the human boy. The prince was. . ." A solider began.
She held onto Hoseok as she looked to the solider intently.
"He was stabbed and thrown into the ocean." Rosé coughed out holding her bleeding arm.
Jieun grew weak as her knees buckled.
"My brother." Jieun cried out as she held her hands to her chest.
"Princess, we should fix up everyone we can. Heal them and give them shelter." Hoseok held her as he whispered softly to her.
She nodded as slowly, Zeaquus moved into the palace.
Jennie and the three other girls began plotting.
"Ziema is dead. He's the reason behind this and he was one of the lives to be taken." Lisa sighed rubbing her eyes.
"The prince might be dead." Jisoo frowned sadly.
"What are you talking about?! You saw he was stabbed and drowned. He is dead!" Yoongi hissed.
"Shut your filthy mouth! You don't know anything! Our prince is way too powerful to die just from this! He's alive and waiting for us to find him!" Jennie screamed as she shut her eyes tightly.
She looked to Yoongi and scoffed.
"Looks like your love is pissed at you." Hoseok sighed.
"Oh shut up. I just don't wanna be super hopeful." Yoongi buried his head in his hands.
"Well she can't be anything but hopeful. Her one main duty is to keep the prince safe, yet she couldn't do that. The prince is gone, potentially dead. You gotta remember, Jeongguk saved her. Her life is indebted to him." Jisoo frowned.
Yoongi covered his eyes as he felt like crying.
"He's saved us all. This is why we're so dedicated to him. We owe him our life." Yoongi huffed out, trying to keep from crying.
"Then shouldn't we look for him?" Lisa smiled.
Everyone looked to her then among each other.
"Where should we start?" Rosé stood.

Jimin stared out the window, watching a bird couple. One bird nuzzled it's peak against the other. He smiled sadly at the couple. They looked so free. He once felt that. As he was lost in thought the door to Evan's bedroom bursts open.
"Jimin."
Jimin didn't move. Evan grabbed his neck and turned him to look at him, he brought Jimin closer to him and Jimin pushed at his chest, turning his head away.
"You're coming down with me."
"Down where?" Jimin questioned.
"To the dungeon."
Jimin's eyes widened.
Jimin was dragged to the dungeon in nothing but his underwear and a white T-shirt. Jimin shouted for Evan to let him go so he could change. He tugged at his shirt to cover his underwear as men and women eyed him being pulled.
"Evan let me go!" Jimin shrieked.
Evan threw the dungeon door open and threw Jimin on the ground. Jimin landed with an oomf as he fell onto the stone floor. He heard a call for him and looked up seeing Taehyung and Namjoon. His eyes widened. He tried to race to them but Evan pulled him back by his arm, grabbing his face to look at him.
"Look here, my little prince, you're going to ask them where that living jewel is. Then you're going to take us there, understood?"
"Evan no! I don't want to-"
"I don't think I asked!" Evan threw Jimin back onto the ground.
Taehyung screamed as he fought against the chains, screaming in Saabse.
"Please." Jimin begged. "Let them go."
"I will. Once you bring me that living jewel."
"Sha key nim! Death ke ma shee!" Taehyung screamed as he stood on his knees, pulling on the chains. (Don't believe him! We'll die anyway!)
Jimin sniffled as he sat up on his knees, his hands on his thighs. Hands tightly clenching the bottom of his shirt.
"Keep pulling, bitch. You aren't getting out of those. Well, unless you do something for me." Evan chuckled.
"Tto ma zim!" Taehyung spat towards Evan. (I'd rather die.)
"English, please." Evan rolled his eyes.
"H-he said he'd rather die." Jimin said from the ground.
"That can be arranged." Evan stepped towards Taehyung but Jimin ran and stepped in from of him.
"Please leave him."
Evan growled and slapped Jimin back onto the ground. Taehyung screamed out again.
"Stop hitting him! Ttatma quoil!" Taehyung cried out. (Stop hitting him! Sick bastard!)
Jimin crawled to Evan and gripped his pants tightly. He looked up to him. He begged.
"I'll talk to them. I swear I will. I'll tell you what they tell me. Please let me talk with them." Jimin stared up to Evan who smirked down at him.
"Fine." With that he left.
Jimin sobbed as he crawled to Taehyung. Taehyung threw his arms up and dropped them over Jimin's body, holding him tightly. Namjoon moved over and rubbed his nose against Jimin's cheek.
"Jimin look-"
"I won't do it. This isn't my home. Zabian is my home. I would never betray it. I won't tell him where it is. I won't I promise!" Jimin sobbed into Taehyung's chest.
Taehyung and Namjoon looked at each other sadly.
"Baby." Taehyung whispered brokenly.
"Jeongguk." Jimin breathed out. "Is he okay? Did you see him get pulled out of the water?"
Taehyung sighed.
Jimin's eyes watered, "He promised he wouldn't leave me."
"Hey Jimin, look at me, we don't know if he's dead. He might be fine."
Jimin began to cry again. "He promised! He said he'd never let me go! He's a liar!"
Namjoon sighed as he rested his head on top of Jimin's and Taehyung held him tightly.
They stayed like that until their heard someone walking to the door. Jimin moved away from the couple reluctantly. He stood up against the wall, his arms behind his back. The dungeon door swung open. Evan walked to Jimin and stared at him.
"They didn't tell me anything. I tried but they didn't tell me a thing."
"Jimin."
"Yes?"
"You're fucking useless!" Evan slapped Jimin hard.
He fell to the ground and screamed in his face.
"I ask you to do one fucking thing! You can't even fucking do that! You bitch!" Evan hit him again and Jimin cried out.
Namjoon barked, "Stop it! Leave him be!"
Evan looked up at him and scoffed. He pulled Jimin up who flinched and whimpered.
"Jimin!" Taehyung called.
Jimin turned around.
"Han ttoky gioenn! Propro! Han ttoky gioenn jia ke jiao pinbi!" Taehyung yelled to him as he was pulled out. (He hasn't forgotten! I promise! He hasn't forgotten you or your love!)
Jimin nodded with a small smile as he was dragged along. He was dragged back up the stairs, into Evan's room, then thrown onto the bed.
"You're so fucking useless! Just like your father and mother!"
Jimin took note that Evan still thinks the king and queen of Diamond Kingdom are his parents. So he silently agreed. Evan walked to him and smacked him once more.
"Please stop hitting me!" Jimin yelled.
"Why should I? You seem to only listen when I beat some sense into you!"
Jimin held his cheek and sat on the bed. Evan groaned as he pulled at his hair. He sat next to Jimin, Jimin pulled back as he gasped out. Evan grabbed his arms and pulled him towards his body. Jimin quietly squeaked and started breathing hard.
"Please let me go." Jimin began to cry.
"Shut up."
Jimin pressed his lips together and watched as Evan stared at him. Evan growled before he threw Jimin backwards so he landed hard on his pillow. With that Evan left. Hopefully for the night. Jimin laid there and sniffled.
"I miss you." Jimin frowned hard and wiped his eyes.
"Please show me you're okay."

"Wake up boy." A soft voice whispered.
Jeongguk's eyes opened and he looked around. What was this? The afterlife?! Is he dead?!
"You aren't dead, young prince." Another rougher voice laughed.
Jeongguk looked around and saw his parents. He gasped out and covered his mouth. He let out a sob.
"Ma! Pa!" Jeongguk cried as he reached his hand out to them.
"There's someone here to speak with you." His mother smiled.
Jeongguk held his mom's hand tightly, his father's the same.
"Young prince." A woman with long purple hair and red eyes, a sun mark on her forehead, smiled. Her lips were full and her eyes fox like. She was wearing a red dress and a white fabric was draped over her arms.
"Wait you're-" Jeongguk began.
"The last roy ba." She smiled.
"W-where is-"
"The last quc ba? She's off to find the new quc ba. As I am here before the new roy ba."
"New... "
"Youngest Prince born to King Kiaon and Queen Livy. You are the blood born, the Sun, and the Phoenix. You are a chosen." The woman smiled to him.
"B-but how?! Who did I see? Come in contact with? Why are you here only now?!" Jeongguk cried.
"Because you met your poor born, your Moon, your Dragon." Her eyes flashed a bright red as she spoke fiercely.
"Once the last quc ba speaks with the new, your power will finally be unlocked."
"Madam." Jeongguk called. "I'm alive, right?"
"Yes."
"Will I be able to speak with my love?"
"Your love?" His mother questioned.
"Yes. My love. My treasure. My living jewel. I want to see him. Will I be able too? Even if it's just a vision, I need to see him. I promised never to leave him."
The woman smiled lovingly.
"Of course young prince, but your parents would like to speak with you first."
Jeongguk looked to his parents.
"You held a lot of hatred in your heart, my son." The queen frowned.
"Hatred I understand none the less. You, your brother and his husband, as well as your sister have carried our kingdom so well." The king grinned.
Jeongguk nodded as he looked to his father.
"I understand the pain you felt watching us leave you."
"Yes, yet I have this closure. Will my siblings have such closure?"
"Probably not, baby." The queen frowned.
Jeongguk sighed as he looked down.
"I was stabbed and thrown into the ocean, how am I alive?"
The last roy ba chuckled.
"You were saved by us, of course. You still have your kingdom and "your love" correct?"
Jeongguk laughed and nodded.
"I have to get to him, even if it's the last thing I do." Jeongguk looked up to the last roy ba.
She smiled and bowed her head.
"Of course."

"Cutie boy, it's time to wake up." A beautiful and soft voice giggled.
Jimin mumbled nothings as he turned to his side.
"Baby. Wake up." Jimin's heart thumped hard in his chest as he sat up quickly and looked around.
"Where-"
"Are you?" The soft voice giggled.
This woman had a full moon on her forehead and red hair with yellow eyes. She had a red dress that was tight on her body and a pink sheer fabric draped over her arms. Jimin's eyes widened as he looked at her.
"Wow you're beautiful." Jimin smiled.
"Hey baby." Jimin turned around.
Silver hair. Icy blue eyes. Is this. . .?
"M-mom?" Jimin whispered.
"Hi, baby. You've gotten so big. I used to be able to hold you on my hip." She smiled lovingly, her arms wide.
Jimin ran to her and hugged her tightly.
"Mommy! I'm so sorry I forgot you! I'm sorry I forgot all the love you gave me!" Jimin sobbed as he held her.
His mother kissed his forehead lovingly. Then he felt another hand on his back.
"Did you forgot your father too?"
Ocean blue hair. Red eyes.
"Dad!"
Jimin held his father too and pressed his cheek against his.
"Tell your brother we love and miss him too."
Jimin nodded and smiled through his tears.
"Youngest son of merchant Tuo and gatherer Luna. You are the poor born, the Moon, and the Dragon. You are a chosen." The woman grinned holding her hands to her chest happily.
"H-how could I be-? B-but I didn't even know I was a Zeaquu until recently, I don't deserve it! I know nothing of us!"
"The Rule makes no mistake. We take the time of a hundred-thousand years. Do you think we made a mistake?" She asked him with a frown.
"Well no madam but-"
"You know I thought the same as a child. But, when I met my wife, she reassured me that this was who we are. Who we are meant to be. So, young boy, this is who you are meant to be."
Jimin looked up at her then to his parents.
"Who I'm. . . Meant to be."
"Yes, young Moon." She smiled touching his face. "Your powers will unlock soon. I'm sure my wife is done talking with your Sun right now. So, young Luna, I shall watch you from afar."
"As will I, baby." Luna smiled.
"Me too." Tuo smiled.
"Then yes madam, this is who I am meant to be."
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Jimin watched as his parents and the last quc ba disappeared then-
"Jeongguk!"
Jeongguk turned around and smiled running to Jimin. Jimin jumped to him and cried. He's never cried so hard. Jeongguk began to cry too.
"You're alive, right? You aren't some spirit coming to say goodbye, right?"
"Yes I'm alive. I'm coming to bring you back to me soon as well." Jeongguk smiled holding Jimin's face.
"Can I have a kiss? Please?" Jimin practically begged.
Jeongguk smiled and held his love close before placing his lips on Jimin's. Jimin savored the kiss, not knowing when he'd get one again. Jimin held Jeongguk tightly as they kissed.
"Where are you?" Jeongguk whispered to Jimin who was in a daze. His forehead against Jimin's.
"I-I'm in Evan's castle. It's far from my own." Jimin whispered through half lidded eyes.
"I'm coming to you, okay? I'll be there soon, my love."
"Please, Jeongguk, be quick." Jimin frowns.
"I will."
With that Jeongguk vanished and Jimin woke up. Jimin turned his head and saw a sleeping Evan's back. Now he wants to cry again.
