The Runaway and Uninvited Guest
Jimin peaked out of his door and looked around. The palace was quiet. Not a soul in sight. He shut the door back and reached for the cloak under his bed and letter. Placing the letter on his desk, wearing the cloak, covering his face. He opened his window and looked out. Looked down.
"That's a far jump." He whispered to himself.
He looked along the palace walls and noticed a few steps sticking out of the wall. He stepped on one and took a breath before shutting the window from the outside.
"Well, if I die, I still won't have to get married." Jimin whispered looking down as his body was pressed against the palace wall. He carefully climbed down.
His foot slipped and he swore.
"Jimin what you doing? You have been sheltered since you were born. You have never had to do anything like this. Oh sure you trained with the guards but that was it. They didn't even hurt you! You're a damn idiot!" Jimin scolded himself as he got closer to the ground.
Feet slipping off the rocks every now and again. He finally neared the ground but slipped off and fell.
"Fucking hell!" He shouted quietly standing up and rubbing his ass.
"That hurt." He whined before running to the wall that protected the palace.
He jumped up and climbed it, jumping to the other side. He ran towards the forest, stopping and turning around. He stared the the palace, lights dimmed or off. He was going to miss his mother and brother. Can't say the same about his father, or Evan. Definitely not Evan.
He sighed before putting his hood on and running deeper into the forest. His lungs began to burn as he traveled deeper. No idea where he was. Hoping to come out to the village to hide away. But it was just forest, forest, and more forest. He grew tired and was preparing to stop. He stopped breathing hard as he looked around.
"I'm such an idiot! Who runs away without a plan on where to go! I'm lost and going to be mauled by bears!" Jimin yelled frantically. He was too far to go back to the palace and refused to explain why he was out and dirty. He'd have to burn to letter in hopes they wouldn't see it.
There's no backing out now. He'd have to keep going until he found people or got eaten by bears. He hoped for the former.
He kept walking and felt a strange difference in the air as he walked. The air felt thinner, cleaner, a lot calmer. It made him relax and slowly showed him how tired he was. He closed his eyes as he walked. Big mistake as he tripped and fell. Scraping his knees and hands. He groaned as he saw the blood seeping from them. Hoping he didn't break anything. He was in pain, bleeding, and tired. He decided to find a tree in a somewhat safe area then decided to fall asleep. He'd look for people in the morning.

Jeongguk annoyingly rolled his eyes as people crowded him as he walked across the dark green grass his nail scratching his reoccurring itch under his eyebrow.
"Come on, prince, you should participate!" Hoseok smiled.
"Yeah! You'd look very handsome!" Jennie agreed.
"I never participate." Jeongguk grumbled as he wrapped his hands in cloth.
"Why not? Rosé frowned.
"I don't like to. I'm not just some prince who will perform like the other princes before me did. But I'm also in charge of our kingdoms military, I don't have time to practice a dance routine." Jeongguk rolled his neck as he turned around. Flexing his arms and stretching his hands.
"Let's make a deal! If you can beat all of us in a sparing battle, you won't have to perform and we'll leave it alone." Lisa compromised.
"And if you win?" Jeongguk asked amused, once brown eyes flashing a bright silver.
"You'll perform." Lisa answered.
"Wearing this outfit I found from the human world." Jisoo grinned showing a suit. Costume? A...
"A bunny costume?" Yoongi laughed.
"Bonma keil mion hajpi la?! There's no way jak lopy hany jee." Jeongguk asked exasperated, pointing at the costume. (How did you even get that?! There's no way you got that far in the human world.)
Everyone laughed.
"I have a friend that can blend in, they got me this." Jisoo smiled mischievously.
Jeongguk rolled his eyes before cracking his knuckles. His dark orbs turning into a clean bright silver as they glowed just slightly.
"Fine. Let's do it."

Taehyung smiled as he stood back and looked at the decorations all over the stage and fire pit. The Royal chairs were beautifully decorated with flowers picked earlier that day. Jieun smiled beside him.
"It's beautiful, Tae."
"Thank you, Jieun." He giggled as he clasped his hands together.
"Sire! Are these the sweets you wanted?" A servant asked.
Taehyung turned and smiled before nodding. "Yes, they're perfect."
Namjoon came towards the pit and dropped another stack of chopped wood. Taehyung walked over, the sheer strips along his arm, kept there by a ring on his finger, flowed smoothly with his body as he wrapped his arms around Namjoon's neck.
"Love, you've been at this all day. You'll still need energy for tonight." Taehyung said worried.
"Of course, I know. But this is something you want meaning it needs to be perfect." Namjoon smiled down at his husband, kissing his forehead.
A clear pout on Taehyung's face as he stared into his husband's eyes.
"Stop working."
"Tae."
"Stop working and help me." Taehyung whined.
"Fine, you're such a baby." Namjoon laughed.
Taehyung and Namjoon checked on everything, making sure it was to Taehyung's liking before deciding everything was good for the night. Jieun and the kings moved to check on the youngest of them. The young prince.

Jeongguk laughed as he watched Hoseok and Rosé run into each other and fall back. They had tried to out smart him and run at him at the same time. But he jumped up high and threw himself forward. Leaning forward, rolling before jumping up to watch the collision.
Jennie charged him, fists flying fast towards his face before her leg came swinging towards his face. He grabbed it and flipped her on to her stomach. He looked up and saw Lisa smile behind him. He knew who. He felt their presence. They put him in a choke hold and let them jerk him back. Everyone watching was getting excited.
Was their Sergeant going to be taken down? Finally? Then perform during a gathering? For the first time?! In a humans bunny suit, no less.
"You're smart for this, but your hand position and stance are weak." Jeongguk laughed, grabbing Yoongi's loose hand and flipping him forward after kicking his extended, weak leg.
Everyone gasped out. To them, his form was perfect. But oh no no, if the Sergeant can beat it, it isn't perfect enough.
Jeongguk never really hurt them, not hitting them to the point it actually hurts for a while. Or leaves a bruise. He knows his strength and the damage it can cause.
Jisoo charged him and everyone cheered her on as she grabbed his arm and pulled him down, but he just jumped off his hands as they touched the ground. His legs coming up to grab his arms, flipping her with him. Her back slammed into the ground and she let out a loud groan. Everyone had lost against Jeongguk. Everyone booed the fact Jeongguk won.
"Yah! Bonlala zukeo xionlop, quoil!" Jennie yelled to Jeongguk who laughed. (Yah! You definitely cheated, bastard!)
They all laughed as they walked to them, telling the group they did a good job.
"I didn't cheat. How could I?" Jeongguk shrugged as Jisoo was being helped up. She patted her shorts off.
She turned to him with a pout, "You really won't perform? You look amazing in traditional wear."
Everyone agreed.
"All the jewels and your body markings against the jewels!" Lisa said excitedly.
"I'm sure Tae will perform, he always does." Jeongguk said rubbing his shoulder.
"Exactly, he always does. You never do. The king's performance is always amazing." Yoongi countered.
"But come on, lepownim! Just once!" A slim boy added, coming up behind the group.
His pointed nail tapping his lip as he walked towards Jeongguk. An excited smile on his lips. This boy used to be someone important to Jeongguk. He hasn't seen or talked with him since they separated. He smiled slightly, his fang resting outside his mouth on his lip.
Jeongguk rolled his eyes with a chuckle and a smirk left on his face as he looked down at his hands and removed the cloths from his hands. Bending his fingers to make sure none are sprained or broken as the adrenaline has worn off.
"Ziema? Where have you been all this time?" Lisa wondered out loud.
"I was with a few friends until I heard the commotion. I came to see what was going on just to see the sweet prince fighting with his underlings." He smiled and leaned forward, his hands clasped together in front of himself.
Jeongguk ignored him and walked off to the sidelines. He threw the cloths on the table. Everyone knew Jeongguk never talked back to people he removed from his life. They also knew Ziema was a sensitive topic. He heard someone walk up behind him then lean forward to the side.
"Still mad at me princey." Ziema pouted.
Jeongguk didn't look up to him, just turning around to everyone, back against the old wooden table. His eyes were closed, he rubbed the side of his nose, his nail tapping his eyebrow.
"I'll need you guys to occasionally sweep the forest, still enjoy yourself but check and report back to me." Jeongguk told everyone ignoring the cute boy next to him.
Everyone nodded and agreed as they saw the anger burn slightly in Jeongguk's eyes.
"Wanna hear some gossip I heard." Ziema asked towards Jeongguk.
"I do!" Jisoo yelled happily.
Lisa softly punched her arm. Lifting her arms and mouthing, "What the fuck?!"
"I heard a few children saw a human in the forest, past the border. They said he looked violent and armed. They think he's going to ambush the gathering and kill tons of us. Or maybe he's a spy?" Ziema told with a sparkle in his eyes, leaning up towards Jeongguk who looked away from him.
"A human?"
"A real one?"
"An adult?"
"Do you think they're going to harm us?"
"On the day of the gathering! Really?"
"We'll have to kill him before he can kill us!"
Jeongguk laughed out.
"You all believe this lair? Really? It's just plain gossip to stir up unnecessary shit like he always does. It seems to be his skill. Something he's very good at." Jeongguk ended his sentence full of venom as he turned to stare at Ziema.
"Why are you still mad about that?! Ba lion mio gue!" Ziema shouted as he turned completely to Jeongguk, his face looked pained as he grabbed Jeongguk's arm. (Why are you still mad about that?! It was so long ago!)
Jeongguk pulled his arm away as he looked to everyone.
"There is no human. There won't be an ambush. Besides, if I am wrong, we'll just throw them out like always."
"Human?" Jeongguk heard a peppy voice.
Of course. His brother-in-law.
"There is no human, Tae." Jeongguk sighed as he walked away, leaving a still hurt Ziema.
Jeongguk walked past Taehyung and Namjoon, but Namjoon caught his arm and whispered in his ear.
"Hanlar gaiol?" Namjoon whispered as Jeongguk tensed. (What's wrong?)
"Zeenama." Jeongguk said sharply as his dark eyes flashed to Namjoon. (Nothing.)
Jeongguk snatched his arm away and walked off. He jumped on his horse and rode off quickly.
"What happened?" Namjoon asked concerned for his brother.
He looked around everyone before seeing Ziema sniffling. Then he understood. Understood why his brother looked so hurt and angry. He should have expected such.

Jimin opened his eyes to see the bright sun and sighed as he sat up. He assumed it was afternoon as the sun began to turn orange. He exhaled rubbing his eyes. So it wasn't a dream, he really had the balls to run away. But also was dumb enough to get lost. He had no idea how long it'd take to find people, find civilization. He's in the middle of a forest where animals alike could come devour him.
"Fucking idiot." Jimin mumbled smacking his forehead.
He stood up, immediately groaning and falling back down. He heard cracking and squeals. He turned around with his fists up. Ready to fight whoever he needed.
"Who's there?!"
No response.
He stood up again, hissing at the pain in his legs. He began to walk again through the thick layers of greens. He kept walking for what he assumed was an hour. But he heard feet running around him quickly, he began to panic worried he might die. But the stomping and crunching of leaves soon disappeared. He was breathing very quickly as he kept walking.
He slowly began to regret his decision of running away.

Jeongguk watched the act as they performed. A huge table in front of him as it was he, his brother, Taehyung, then his sister. The performers stopped and everyone clapped happily. Jeongguk was dressed in multiple golden chains over his chest and silver and gold bracelets on both arms. He wore two jewels on the sides of his head, on his temples. No shirt. He wore white pants with gold covering them in paint splotches. Something you'd never catch him wearing except during a gathering. He rested his head on his hand as his elbow was on the table. He closed eyes as his tongue grazed his fangs.
"Lepownim." A soldier whispered into Jeongguk's ear.
He turned and looked to him.
"Yes?"
"There's an intruder on the border."
"Okay? Take care of them."
"It's a human." They whispered back.
Jeongguk shot up. Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jieun looked to him.
"I'll be back."
He said quickly running off behind the soldier. Hopping onto his horse and riding off. Following behind. The sun coming down to set.
Right as the gathering was truly about to begin.
