Joy and Pain

Jeongguk rode his horse up to the training grounds. He saw his sister already training new comers. Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé were sparing with each other. Jisoo no where in sight. He found that odd as she's always with the 3 girls. The soldiers and trainers turned to Jeongguk as his horse came to a stop in front of the girls.

"Where's Jisoo?"

"Probably spreading gossip about humans again." Rosé said as she stopped fighting with Lisa and looked up to her Sergeant on his horse.

He tilted his head and jumped down, "Strange. What could be so interesting about them that she isn't here?"

"Lepownim! Lepownim! Banla koo pipi?" Jisoo asked as she ran and jumped next to the other girls. (Sergeant! Sergeant! When did you get here?)

"Moo pola min. Where were you?" Jeongguk asked arms crossed. (A few seconds ago. Where were you?)

"I was off getting new information about humans. Apparently two of the prince's from other kingdoms are to get married." Jisoo squeaked in excitement.

The other girls wowed and asked questions, intrigued by this information. Jeongguk rolled his eyes.

"Why are you four so interested in humans? They aren't interested in us."

"It's interesting to watch them destroy each other for absolutely no reason." Lisa giggled.

Jeongguk chuckled as he looked around.

"Lepownim, you haven't spared with me in a while." Jennie said cracking her knuckles and neck.

"Or any of us for that matter." Rosé added.

"Well today won't change that either. Where's Jieun?" Jeongguk asked as he looked around.

"Probably being hit on by Seokie." Lisa laughed leaning on Rosé.

"Eww." Jeongguk whispered. "He's a strong fighter but when it comes to my sister?" He shivered. "Such a polamon." (Weakling.)

The girls laughed as Jieun walked past them quickly, flipping her hair. Just as they said, Hoseok whooshed after her but Jeongguk threw his head in front of his chest. The dorsal side of his hand smacking his chest.

"Jamba will ya? She's doesn't like you." Jeongguk chuckled with his eyes squinted at Hoseok. (Chill will ya? She doesn't like you.)

"She'll come around." Hoseok said confident.

"She won't but keep telling yourself that." Jennie teased, arms crossed.

Hoseok rolled his eyes before looking to Jeongguk.

"You wanna spare?"

"If he won't spare with us, he won't spare with you." Rosé answered.

Jeongguk rolled his eyes before getting back on his horse and rode into the field, in the middle so he'd have everyone's attention.

"Mampa!" Jeongguk yelled as everyone looked to him. (Attention!)

"My brother would like to hold a gathering. He needs strong security. We also need help with setting up the barrier."

"We haven't used that thing in generations, lepownim." Yoongi countered yelling to Jeongguk.

"Yes I know, but I know some of you would like to attend the gathering. You will still be on duty but you won't have to watch the boarder. My brother has already announced it to the other Zeaquus in town. I just need to let you all know."

Everyone was excited. They haven't gotten to truly enjoy a gathering in so long. They're always at the border, watching, and making sure everyone else is enjoying their time. They haven't had a gathering in a long time too.

"Good luck all, I'm putting all my faith in you. Since you know I won't truly be on duty myself. It's all up to you."

"Who will take your place in charge while you sit with the kings and princess?" One Zeaquu asked with their hand raised.

Jeongguk looked around and made eye contact with one of the strongest soldiers.

"Jennie."

Everyone gasped and looked to Jennie, clapping for her. She smiled then bowed to Jeongguk.

"I won't let you down, I promise." She smiled proudly to Jeongguk.

"I know you won't." He smiled back for riding off back to his palace.

Jimin looked out the window of the carriage as Evan's kingdom got closer and closer. He held himself looking down at his heart locket. Soon the kingdom was right in front of the carriage. Jimin felt like he was going to be sick.

"We're here, sire."

"Yes, thank you."

Jimin got out walking to the castle, heart racing. He pulled the handle of the dragon faced knocker by pulling and throwing it against the door. The door opened and Jimin wondered if it was too late to run. But as the door opened he heard the carriage leave, it's wheels and horses hooves crushing grovel under them. He looked down as the person who opened the door chuckled.

"Welcome little prince." Evan's voice whispered.

Jimin walked past him inside. He looked around. Elegant just like he thought. Red, green, and gold, was the color palette of the castle. A lot more basic then his own. He felt Evan's hand on his waist and sucked in a breath.

"Now, little prince, are we going to have the same problem as before? Or will you listen to me?"

Jimin didn't answer and looked away from Evan, he heard Evan chuckle before grabbing his face and turning it towards him.

"Answer me!"

"Yes I'll listen!" Jimin shouted back as Evan let go, throwing his face to the side.

"Good. I'm tired. I want to just cuddle with you." Evan said with a smirk.

He pulled Jimin with him to his room upstairs. Laying on the bed and spreading his arms out to welcome Jimin. Jimin reluctantly laid in his arms. He cuddled into himself as Evan held him.

"I don't like hitting you and grabbing you. You're a beautiful boy, quite cute too." Evan whispered.
"I just don't handle my anger well, okay? I won't hurt you unless you make me mad."

Jimin didn't respond. He just laid there. Begging for it to he midnight already. After an hour, Evan had Jimin make food for the both of them. Jimin was shaking slightly in fear of messing up which caused him to knock over a glass. It shattered which angered Evan. Just like Jimin had feared. Evan rushed over and pulled Jimin back, slapping him hard enough he fell to the ground. Jimin didn't dare move as his hand stayed on his face, looking down. Evan started yelling.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He screamed at Jimin.

Jimin was shaking as he looked down in fear, wanting to cry at that very moment.

"You come into my home and break things?! Huh?!"

"I-I didn't mean to."

Evan reached down and slapped him again, pulling his hair.

"You better learn to respect me! I'll to be your husband soon, understand me?"

Jimin nodded as Evan dropped his head. He began crying.

"Shut that crying up, it won't get you anywhere."

Jimin hushed his crying, struggling to breathe as he heard Evan walk off. Once he couldn't hear him anymore he let his sobs go. Bringing his knees to his chest. He was a sheltered kid. He never was hit or even truly yelled at. But he also wasn't a bad kid. He listened, he went to classes, he did what he was told. So he was never punished.

He swore he'd tell his father about all of this. He couldn't marry this man. This man hits him. He knows it'd go past slaps if this man had his way. He had to tell his father, immediately.

Jimin held himself as he heard Evan walk back into his bedroom, a towel around his waist. He raised Jimin's face to look up at him. Jimin's eyes looked to the side as he saw Evan lean forward. He flinched slightly.

"Look at me." Evan whispered.

Jimin did so slowly and looked at the man's dark brown orbs, Evan leaned forward and kissed Jimin's lips pulling away slowly. Evan's lips were soft, Jimin wasn't going to deny that. He was a good kisser, but he didn't kiss back. Evan rubbed Jimin's chin with his thumb.

"Your carriage will be here soon." Evan whispered.

Jimin nodded, looking down, he stared at his hands. Evan bent down, placing his hand under Jimin's ear, leaning forward and kissing him again, slowly. Jimin squeezed his eyes shut, just letting Evan's lips touch his. Evan pulled away and stood up. A knock coming from the door.

"Yes?"

"The carriage is here sire, to take the prince home."

"We'll be out in a second." Evan answered.

Evan walked back into the bathroom and slid on boxers and joggers. He walked back out to Jimin and held out his hand which Jimin shakily took as they walked downstairs to the door. Jimin saw the carriage, the moon shinny hopefully onto it. He wanted to run to it but Evan held his arm.

"Do you plan to tell your father about this?"

Jimin was quiet, he subtly shook his head.

"Good."

Evan let go and Jimin ran to the carriage. He got inside and brought his knees to his chests, begging the horseman to take him home. The man did so, no questions asked as they rode back to the castle. Once home Jimin ran inside and yelled for Seokjin. He saw his brother rush out of his room as he walked into his own. Seokjin followed behind and shut the door. Jimin sat on his bed hands on his eyes as he began to cry.

"Jiminie, what's wrong?"

"He hits me." Jimin whispered.

Seokjin could barely hear.

"Huh?"

"He hits me! But you can't tell father! Not yet." Jimin shrunk back down into himself.

"Who?! Evan?!"

Jimin nodded slowly.

"He puts his hands on you?!"

Jimin nodded slowly again crying. Seokjin rushed to Jimin and hugged him, kissing the side of his head, rocking them back and forth. He hushed him and rubbed his back. Though, Seokjin did not promise to keep this a secret. He was going to his father whether Jimin liked it or not.
