Dear diary,

Today I went closer to the shore-

Yes I know im not supposed to but..... I couldn't help myself!

Emma accidentally hurt herself and I was surprised it didn't heal right away. Thing is.... I.... Met a creature.... From the land!

It has these things called legs and wings. I find them interesting!  They speak english too!!!!!!

They told me that most people make fun of them for their wings. Or call them "freak" I dont know what that means but I think it's rude. They even helped emma!

Of course emma wanted to play games and stuff right afterwards but.... I found myself having an extremely long conversation with the winged creature (even though technically your not a loud to-) I felt bad for not listening to her but.... I couldn't help it,  they were just so interesting!

I cant just hide and swim away all my life. None the less stay in the reef.

Im gonna have to move on sometime
