"Get dressed, we are going for a hike." Takeo started to walk to the bathroom to change into some clothes. Trinity was still in shock from her memory, she had no idea what he meant when he told her that she had just told him how to get back home.

"Where are we even going?"

"To a beach." He announced to her through the closed door.

"Why? I don't understand."

Takeo peeked his head through a crack in the door, "That waterfall, in your memory, is the way back home! If we can find the exact spot to fit through it, it will lead us to a portal which should bring us back to your village!" He closed the door again.

"How do you know it will work? Plus, at this point, what makes you think that we would be better off back home anyway? Isn't there a king trying to kill us?"

"Well, yeah," Takeo opened the door and stepped out. He was wearing a plain white shirt rolled up to his biceps, brown pants, and hiking boots, "but if we stay here, then our town will have no chance of surviving. You do have a responsibility, as princess, to take back whatever is left and claim it for your people. You might be the last one with magic and without you we don't stand a chance." He gave her a sideways smile.

Trinity stood up, "What makes you think my town will even want me back? They probably think that I just abandoned them? What if I'm not as powerful as you say and we are both killed? What if everyone hates me? What if Leyea just wanted to get rid of us in the first place? What if I'm not good enough? What if..."

"Slow down," Takeo interrupted, "that's a lot of 'what if's for right now. Let's just worry about getting back. Once we get back home you will have your magic and the rest of your memories will soon follow. Then you won't have any 'what if's' because you know you'll be good enough." He took a step closer and put his hands on her shoulders, "Does that sound okay to you?"

Trinity tried her best to smile, "I guess we could try it."

"That's the spirit. Now you should really go get dressed."
