Zane's POV

I was excited. Again I was glad I had my mask. Also this time Gorroth wasn't here to be ... well ... stupid. As I went outside I saw a person. They looked suspicious. They had a hood and mask that covered most of their face.

They looked creepy and he was sneaking. I was about to confront him when I heard rustling behind me. I turned and saw Aphmau. She looked disappointed. "Aawww, I was trying to scare you." She said.

"Ha, nobody can scare the great and powerful ZANE!" I said in a mighty voice.

Narrator's POV

They laughed for a long time. Zane had forgotten about the shady figure. The same shady figure who was watching from behind the trees.

Aphmau's POV

I was trying to scare Zane but he heard me. We went to the clearing after awhile. We had a surprise picknik. We ate and talked almost till sunset. Then something weird yet satisfying happened. He took of his mask and kissed my cheek.

He immediately pulled away. "I-I'm so sorry! I w-wasn't thinking!" Then he pulled on his mask. He got up and ran. I chased him to the edge of the forest.

I went home. I figured I shouldn't bother him. He was embarrassed. So I left him alone.

Shady figure's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. the boy kissed her! He showed feelings. I've been watching him for awhile and this was one of the first times I've seen him express anything but hatred.

Sorry to Laurmau, Garmau, and Aarmau fans but there will be some other ships going on to. But mostly Zanemau so walk away now and don't say I didn't warn ya.
