Aphmau's POV

"Hello? Who's there? Show yourself" I said. I heard rustling and a boy came out. At least I guessed it was a boy. He was wearing a hood and I couldn't see his face. He looked strong and had a pretty big sword. "W-who are you?" I said all my confidence suddenly gone.

"Follow me." He said simply. I hesitated, Could I trust him. Well I thought he is my only chance. I stood up and followed him through the forest. It seemed like we walked for hours upon hours. Finally I saw a house. I took off, all my fatigue gone.

I ran home and when I saw my mom I cried in her arms. "Are you okay!? What happened where were you!?" I just sobbed into her arms. She took me to my room and got out my soft purple pajamas and my favorite lavender blanket with little blue flowers on it. She set them on my bed and helped me have a bath. Then I got on my pajamas and went to bed.

Zane's POV

I tossed and turned. I couldn't sleep. Not knowing Aphmau might not be safe. I got up and put on my clothes. It wasn't to late lucky for me. I walked to Aphmau's home. Knock knock knock. Her mom answered the door. Just as I was afraid of. "Hi. Why are you out so late?" She asked. "Um, is Aphmau here?" I asked. "Oh, she just fell asleep sorry."

"Oh OK." I said relieved. I was finally at peace. I walked back home and fell asleep. Garroth won't hurt her any more. I thought to myself.
