My body began to feel weak very weak like I couldn't even stand upright making my vision return back to normal.
But my eyes ached for some reason.
I pinned Katelyn to the kitchen floor with all the energy I could muster but sadly I couldn't keep her entire body too it seen as I felt her foot collide with my right leg.
Crack!
I let out a loud howl of pain as i leaped off of her and fell clutching my poor leg.
Images came rushing back to me...  the kid, the tree, the Devil and me.
"You belong to me now.."
"That's you Zane"
"Hurry up and do it already..."
"M-me?"
"We need him operational..."
"Z-ane?!"
Travis came in as my eyes darted everywhere unable to understand what was happening.
What?!
"What happened?!"
I heard Travis asked as I notice my glove covered hands wait t-they were paws!?
No no nonono that was a dream!
My breathes quickened as I began to panic noticing the rest of my body as a dark monster.
I tried to stand up but my legs wouldn't allow me making me plop to the floor with a small thud before sending a wave of pain through my leg.
Soon everyone else came rushing in but backed away immediately.
What?! Why are they all here?
"He attacked me!"
Katelyn yelled as she stood up
"No Katelyn~sama jumped to conclusions, she thought Zane~kun was gonna take my soul.... Then Zane~kun attacked Katelyn~sama"
Kawaii~chan corrected as i stared blankly at them both
Wait attacked... Souls!?
"Zane you ok?"
Travis asked as he noticed my heavy breathing.
"No-o.. no T-Travis I'm not"
I replied as I yet again tried to stand up using the kitchen table for balance this time.
He seemed shocked as I called his name but didn't say anything about it.
"Zane Ro Meave?"
He asked
Oh what have I done now... Nobody used my full name unless I'm in trouble.
"Y-yes?"
I stretched as turned to face him noticing my odd stuttering as I did so.
He sent a glance towards the others before continuing
"Could you explain this?"
He asked as he pointed towards me
"Explain what that I just found out I'm a monster!?"
I asked as Travis gave me a confused look
"Noo explain why your bone is sticking out your leg"
He replied
"What?"
I questioned as I looked down at my leg to see that indeed my bone was sticking out of my leg covered in a dark substance.
"O-oh My +++++ I t-think I'm gon-na throw u-up"
I spoke as I kept my eyes glued to it unable to move them from it, balancing on one foot as I did so.
"Wait I did that?"
Katelyn asked
"Something must be missing to make his leg just brake like that?"
Travis explained as Kawaii~Chan stepped forward
"Could it be Zane~kun's soul?"
She asked as I starred at it remembering the pain it brought me.
"Hurry up and do it already..."
"H-ow di-d yo-u get tha-t?"
I asked as I continued starring at it
"You let Kawaii~Chan take it.. remember?"
She replied as Travis took it into his grasp before coming towards me.
"Ge-t tha-t thi-ing awa-y fro-m me"
I growled as I backed away only to feel arms rap around me. I looked behind me to see Garroth tears streaming down his tanned innocent face.
I felt my ears go limp as he hugged me feeling dread grow in my heart.
Why did I do this to him?
Suddenly I felt a deep pain within the left side of my chest
"A-ah"
I whined as I cliched my chest
"What's wrong Zane?"
Travis asked as he stepped forward soul still in hand.
My right leg began going extremely numb.
I stayed silent seen as I knew exactly what I needed
The soul
"Brother I think I know what you need"
He said as he walked over to Travis and took my soul
"It's this isn't it?"
He asked as I slowly nodded
He pushed it towards me only for me to back away again
"Why don't you want it?"
He asked as I stayed silent for a moment
"T-that d-id t-this t-o m-me"
I explained in a whisper but loud enough for Garroth to hear
"Oh... Well your not alone now and if there's any pain ill be here"
I sighed as I looked up at him
"F-fine"
I replied as I took it into my grasp.
I inspected it before slowly  pushing it into my chest holding back whimpers as I did.
I could feel the blood running through my veins once more as my vision blacked out
I constantly blinked as i tried to regain my sight before i could feel my weight being sent to my remaining leg .

Once my soul was completely in I blindly grabbed Garroth's top as I felt myself loosing balance.
"Has anyone even notice his bone is still sticking out his leg!"
I heard Dante's muffled voice yell as i could feel Garroth grab onto my paws allowing my sight to return.
Travis then came over towards us
"Zane can you lie down for a moment"
He asked before I sat back down on the floor
"Lucinda could you get some potions to ya know..."
He asked but whispered the last part so I was unable to hear him
"Y-yeah sure"
She replied as she dashed out the kitchen
"Aph maybe you should go with her"
Aaron suggested as Aph sent a nod towards him and ran after Lucinda.
"What should kawaii~Chan do?"
I heard kawaii~Chan's voice ask
"Could you look for a first aid box... That might be able to help"
He replied as Kawaii~Chan dashed out the room aswell.
He sighed before continuing
"Dante could you hold his left leg down please?"
He asked as Dante jumped at the sound of his name
"O-ok"
He replied as he walked over to me and hesitantly grabbed my leg
What's he up to?
"Garroth, Laurence hold his shoulders down"
He demanded
"Oh so your a doctor now?!"
Laurence moaned
"I know more than you do"
He replied as my shoulders were knocked to the ground making me squirm slightly.
"Aaron hold his... right leg gently"
That's when it clicked
He ain't getting near my leg
My body leapt into action as I sat up only to be pushed to the floor by Laurence and Garroth once more.
"G-get o-off!"
I yelled as I squirmed around more ignoring the pain of my leg the best I could.
"Keep him still!"
Travis yelled as Kawaii~Chan came running back in with a first aid box and handed it to him.
"Zane we've got to do this if we don't the bone won't heal properly"
Travis explained as be put on some skinny gloves
"I. Don't. Care!"
I yelled as i continuously squirmed
"please brother-"
Garroth pleaded but was interrupted by
"I've had enough of this!"
Katelyn moaned as she walked over to us and sat on my chest making all the oxygen leave my lungs in an instant.
"T-that's one way of doing it"
I heard Travis say
Oh nonono
Images came running back to me again
"We need him operational..."
"Oh he will be"
That scene was stuck in my head. unable to move, unable to run unable to resist the pain.
"Hi Zane did ya miss me?"
He teased as he began walking towards me.
"No p-please n-no get away!"
I yelled as I tried to get away from the man only to see metal collars wrapped around my hands, feet and neck followed by chains attached to the floor.
"Oh come on Zane you know you can't get away... I'll always be there no matter how hard you try"
He teased as he stepped onto my chest.
Hard.
"P-please l-leave m-me a-lone"
I pleaded as I felt a tear roll down my face before he grabbed the Chain linked to my neck.
"Heh heh 'please' you don't say please to the Devil!"
He laughed as he brought my head up to meet his face
"P-lease do-n't h-urt m-e"
I continued to plead until I heard Travis's voice
"On 3.. 1..2-"
Snap!
I heard the snap of my leg going back into place causing my body to jolt up in pain
"A-agh!"
"Pathetic!"
The man laughed before i collapsed to the floor letting my vision fade with my consciousness.

Lucinda's POV

I heard footsteps behind me as I quickly grabbed my coat and slipped it on as fast as i could.
I saw Aph next to me grabbing her coat.
"Is it Ok if I tag along?"
She asked in a low but kind voice "Of course you can"
I replied
I think it'd be for the best too
I grabbed the keys from the nearby table and unlocked the door letting a gush of wind flow in.
Me and Aph walked out of the house and locked it of course before i handing them back to aphmau.
The walk was mostly silent until a question wondered through my mind.
"Aph?"
I asked as we walked side by side
"Yeah?"
She replied as she looked towards me
"Did you see Zane yesterday?"
I continued as I kept my eyes glued to the path in front of me.
"Yeah but it was quite early in the mornin I'd say around seven"
She replied as I nodded
"Why do you ask?"
She continued
"I-i was just wondering... if he left yours at seven then went to the store by let's say nine o'clock then went to the park and the attack was around midnight... Why did he stay at the park for so long?"
I questioned even though I knew she couldn't just answer it
"Maybe he was forced?"
She asked as we started walking up my driveway
"Where are you going with this?"
I asked and I reached into my coat pocket and fiddled with the Keys searching for the front door one.
Bingo
I slotted the key into the key hole and strided in leaving Aph to close the door as I searched for my potion book.
"There was a tare in his hood meaning something was forced through it"
She continued as I sprung from one side of the room to the other
I had it yesterday where could it have possibly gone?
I sighed in relief as i eventually found my book next to my cold metal cauldron.

I thought as I flicked through the pages of my book analyzing all the possible potion that could be of some us.

Paracetamol will do for pain relief
"Aph could you go upstairs and grab some paracetamol from the bathroom?"
I asked as I began making the potions throwing in the ingredients, sending glances back at the book to check if i haf the wrong ingredient.
"Sure"
Aphmau replied in a low voice as I heard footsteps walk up my stairs.
She's probably just worried
Soon i heard footstep tread back down the stairs as I finished the potions and began packaging them in sustainable box.
Woah record time
"Here"
She said as she held out the paracetamol's and dropped it into the bag.
We walked out the house and stopped allowing me to lock the door and pull the box up tight into my chest.

Garroth's POV

I didn't expect that
"What just happened"
Laurence asked as Travis reached into the first aid box and pulled out a sewing needle, threaded it and began sewing the big cut closed.
"He was hallucinating"
He casually replied as he continued sewing.
"What do you mean?"
I asked as Katelyn stood up
"He was technically reliving the past... In away... But there can be things changed"
He replied as I stayed silent
Oh irene
"Travis is he supposed to be unconscious?"
Dante asked clearly not thinking his question through fully.
"No but it's better that way"
He replied as Dante then saw what he was doing
"Oh Ok"
He responded as he immediately looked away
Is he scared
Travis finished sewing and thought he'd play around with Dante for a bit.
Charming
"Hey Dante could you hold this for a minute"
He asked as he then held out the needle for him to take
"O-ok?"
He replied as he took it
"Dante don't hold it like that!"
Travis yelled as Dante flew backwards needle still in his hands high in the air.
"Thank you"
Travis chuckled as he took it back in his hand, washed it and put it into the first aid box once more only to pull out some bandages and start wrapping it around Zane's lower leg.

"Isn't he supposed to have a cast on?"
Aaron asked as Travis continued wrapping his leg
"How would it look if we took him into the hospital hmm they'd go banana's over it and probably send him to a secret lab or somthin"
He replied as he tapped the bandages down
"There all done... Could one of you take him into the living room?"
Travis asked as he slipped off his gloves
"Sure"
Aaron replied as he went next to Zane and began to lift him up but stopped midway as Zane let out a loud growl causing Aaron to jump back.
Scardy cat
"I'll do it"
I offered as i stepped next to my brother and began lifting him up not a sound coming from him as i did so.
Suddenly a small box fell out of Zane's pocket
"I'll get it"
Travis responded as i lifted Zane into the living room, Dante, Laurene and Aaron trailing behind me leaving Travis, Katelyn and kawaii~Chan in the kitchen.
Suddenly Zane rapped his arms around my waist almost making me drop him as he began nuzzling his head into my chest.
"Irene is he even your brother?"
Laurence joked as I chuckled before i sat down on the coach making sure Zane was fully comfortable as he continuously Nuzzled his head further into my chest.
Woah
Soon he began purring like a cat making Celestea's ears perk up but she didn't bark not even make a sound just look up at me confusion on her face.
"I don't know weather he's more dog or cat now"
Aaron moaned in a cheerful tone as i looked up at him.
"Shut up this is the most affection he's ever given me in years"
I joked as I kept my voice down as to not awaken Zane.
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him in making his purrs grow louder.
I left the others to do there own thing as I looked down at my brother, he looked so peaceful as he lightly breathed on my blue and white checkered top.
Why wasn't I there for him?
I thought as I began to tear up but I was stopped by Zane hugging me tighter.
It was like he knew my feeling, my emotions and my dread even though he wasn't really awake.
I'm sorry brother
I thought as I stoked his head, his fluffy little head well not his skull but the back of his head.
"You ok there Garroth?"
I heard Aaron ask as I continued stroking my brother.
Brother?
"..."
I stayed silent, lost in my thoughts
What happened?
Why didn't you tell me?
Why?
How did your soul get so dark?
Zane gripped tighter causing me to look back down at him.
Sorry brother you'd kill me if you knew I was thinking like this.
I thought as i rested my head on his and let my eyes give way.
