Garroth's POV

I sat there.
Just starring.
They'd taken Zane in for surgery or what ever it's called.
I had my head resting in my hands, my eyes glued to the floor
"Garroth?"
I heard a voice asked dragging me from my gaze
"What?"
I groaned not even bothering to look up
"Where is he?"
It asked
I simply lifted my left arm and pointed to the door next to me before slowly looking up at them.
I knew my eyes looked dreadful and worn out but they felt physically fine to me
"Is he ok?"
Vylad asked as he took a seat next to me
"Define 'Ok'"
I replied before finding myself biting my nails
Huh?
"Har har har very funny"
He joked before suddenly an agonising cry beamed out the room causing me to flinch slightly.
"I don't know what his condition is"
I explained
"...Oh Ok"
He replied letting his head rest down on my shoulder
"Don't worry Garroth"
He spoke
"Don't worry what on earth am i supposed to do?"
I replied
"...Hope"
He finished causing me to go deadly silent.
A couple minutes passed as the others eventually left to go home aside from Vylad and myself.
We can't leave.
We couldn't leave.
No information had gone in or out of that room so we waited.
And waited.
And waited.
I soon noticed Vylad asleep on my shoulder as we was slouched back on the wooden hospital chairs.
"G'night Vylad"
I spoke as i rested my head onto his before slowly letting my eyes give way to the darkness of
My mind?!
Everywhere i looked there was darkness, sadness and despair written all over it as though reaching out to me for guidance.
Is this even my mind?
I thought before starring down at my blood covered arm
Not infected...how?
"I'm sorry!"
A voice whined before recognising it as Ane's
"I've had enough of you!
I don't need you no one needs you!
I can survive with or without you either ways fine with me!"
Z growled
I must still be connected with Zane
"You think just Cos i disappeared meant you stopped me!"
He laughed as I noticed Zane curled up on the floor protecting himself from the viscous creature contained within him.
Something's wrong
Suddenly Ane was threw to what seemed to be a wall in front of me before falling to the floor.
How's he shifting?
"A-ane!"
Zane yelped before jumping past the creature only to be dragged back down to the floor by it.
Ane slowly stood up, his legs shaking violently before suddenly a dark sword flew into his chest missing my nose by an inch
"Heh y'know Z I really though we could be friends"
He spoke as blood dripped down his chin only to plummet to the ground
"But it appears that I was wrong"
He continued before ripping out the sword leaving nothing but a dark abyss of a hole
"You can't kill a spirit!"
He yelled
"I AIN'T GONNA STAND BY AND LET YOU DESTROY THE ZANE WHO DESERVES TO LIVE!"
He finished before pointing the sword at him
"I MIGHT BE SMALLER THAN USUAL BUT I CAN STILL PUT UP A FIGHT"
He started before disappearing out of thin air
"Come on Ane you know you can't kill me"
Z spoke as I suddenly noticed eyes glaring down at him from behind
"Maybe not alone but"
His voice continued
"I can with the element of"
He continued on
"SURPRISE!"
He cheered as colours filled the room almost blinding me
"What?"
Z replied just as confused as I was before Ane wrapped something around his neck with a jump
"I can't believe I forgot"
He chuckled
"My-my birthday?"
Z questioned, looking down at a necklace sprung loose around his neck
"Well yeah you've been in Zane's mind for 19 years now"
Ane replied as I notice the creature look up at them
"That's why your mad... Right?"
He continued
"A-Ane"
Z spoke as he starred down at the flower covered necklace once more
"Are you stupid!?
Why would I care if you forgot my birthday! 
Heck i forgot!"
Z yelled
"I've ruined your life never mind Zane's!"
He continued before I then recognised Zane's limp body as the creature sat up next to him
"And yet you would still have it in you to... Celebrate me?"
He asked
"Well yeah, your still part of us"
Ane replied as I pounded on what seemed to be an invisible wall, cracking it slightly.
"I don't understand"
He whined before plopping to his knees causing Ane to look down at him
"Your supposed to hate me"
He spoke as Ane kneeled down to him
"Z why are you mad at me?"
He asked
"I'm not mad at it you"
He sniffled
"I just don't wanna go back to the darkness"
He sobbed before suddenly shrinking down to a smaller height allowing Ane to look more older like the real Zane
"If-If I don't do my Job I'll be forced back to the under realm"
He continued before Ane wrapped his arms around him
"And if you leave, I'll be all alone"
He replied before i suddenly smashed through the wall.
The creature growled viciously at me before Z called him off with whistle.
Allowing me to kneel down next to Zane as the creature wrapped his body around him.
His unconscious face looked so peaceful as a tail covered his chest supplying warms and comfort for him
"Garroth how'd you get here?"
Ane asked
"I was still connected to Zane's mind"
I replied before Zane let out a small yelp and slurred slightly
"Garroth you gotta get out of here NOW"
Z ordered
"If you don't, and Zane's mind shuts down we'll be erased INCLUDING YOU!"

Mithzan's POV

"Come on Shelby we've been at it all night he's stable now"
I commented
"Critical"
She corrected as she strapped Zane's foot to a ceiling post.
Unfortunately Zane lost consciousness within our attempts to stabilised him causing the transformation to slow down leaving him in half form.
His mouth clamped open, his claws scraping out of his paw-like fingers like sharp knives digging into you knuckles.
His right lower leg and chest were both suspiciously sewn closed as we were forced to make several stitches on his sides and back as to stop the Burgundy colour from escaping.
Blood had poured down his head almost covering it completely as torn clothes randomly appeared through his fur.
His tail and ears had both slightly shrunk back into his body.
But his legs where still misformed as the fur was forced to remain fixed in place plus his hands and feet remained just like claws.
I placed my hands on Shelby's shoulders
"You've been up to long, your tired and need sleep"
I spoke noticing her grey bags under her eyes and groggy expression
"I am NOT tired"
She replied before letting a small  yawn out
"He'll be here tomorrow, I'll inform Garroth and Vylad of his progress and...Problems"
I started before taking a breath of air
"And keep an eye on him"
I finished causing her to glare at me with her eagle eyes
"Two eyes"
She corrected yet again
"Yeah two eyes, now go home"
I chuckled before she slowly walked to the door
"Oh and tell me if anything happens"
She ordered before walking out leaving me within the blue rooms atmosphere.
I sighed before looking down at Zane's broken body of a creature
"Oh Zane what did you do?"
I questioned before slipping off my gloves and walking out myself to quickly wash my hands to un-contaminate myself.
I walked through another set of doors to notice Garroth and Vylad fast asleep together to my right.
I gently nudged Garroth causing him to dolt awake
"Huh!? what?"
He babbled which made Vylad awaken with a yawn before gazing over at me
"Sorry if I'm a burden but could you follow me?"
I asked
"Oh yeah sure"
Garroth replied as he and Vylad stood up before quiet following me back through the double door I entered from.
I paused before continuing as I placed a hand on the door, debating on weather I was to allow them in or not
"Max?"
Vylads voice questioned
"Do you really wanna go in here?"
I asked
"...Yeah?"
They replied causing my head to tilt towards them
"Are you sure?"
I repeated earning a nod from them both before i let out a sigh
"I'm gonna tell you this now, he hasn't shifted back to human fully so he's still...dangerous"
I explained
"Even though he's unconscious"
I mumbled assuring they heard though
