Laurence's POV

"What was that?"
Katelyn asked seen as a yelp echoed through the camp
"I don't know but i'ma find out"
I replied as I jumped over a bench and walked towards the yelp.
I soon arrived to a small cabin before looking inside to see four children playing around Zane as he glared up at me in pure annoyance from the floor
"I thought Aph said this place was abandoned"
He spoke as a child grabbed his tail causing him to pull it in front of him
"She did"
I replied in a chuckle as I knelt on the door frame watching them peacefully tease Zane finding it extremely amusing
"I found the wood"
He stated before a young toddler with a teddy bear held tight in his hands began tugging at his ear
"Yes?"
He groaned
"Sir snuggles"
The child spoke handing him the stuffed toy as his short, spiky, spruce hair bounced slightly
"And what does Sir snuggles want?"
Zane asked gently retrieving the toy before looking down at it but all the kid did in response was shrug
"Well Sir snuggles is an extremely handsome teddy"
He complimented before standing up towering over them.
He handed the toy back as the child leaped up to catch it.
"What are you?"
One of the kids asked
"Max! Don't be rude"
A older girl with hazel brown hair replied
"Fine...Who are you?"
He corrected as he kicked the floor
"I'm Zane and uh might I know your names?"
He replied
"If that's alright with you"
He finished
"...Max"
The child replied
"Lilith"
The girl continued
"I'm Jack"
One said as he swung on a roof panel
"This is Jay, he can't speak proper yet so"
Lilith explained
"ZA! ZA!"
He cheered causing Zane to jump up from surprise.
I picked up the logs and held them in my arms securing them in place before looking up to see them gone.
Wher?-
My thought was interrupted by laughter erupting from the camp set up causing me to be dragged towards it.
I soon noticed that they was all playing around in the tree's as the others worked below.
Where's Ross and the others?
I thought as I walked up to the camp fire to throw the logs into the stone circle
"Ross and the others left"
Aph stated although reading my thoughts
"They didn't wanna get a search party out for em"
She chuckle before handing me a small box of matches
"Good luck"
She chuckled before walking away leaving me with the matches.
I sighed as I stared down at them
This is gonna be along evening
