So you can probably tell what part where up too... cos I ain't explaining.
We all walked into the hospital to see that it was mainly empty aside from a lot of commotion accruing down the hall.
"Ross stop!"
We heard someone yell
"Let's go"
Aph said as I spotted Dante head out the doors before I pulled him back
"That way"
I explained as he huffed in annoyance
Smash!
Shatter!
Bang!
Crash!
We soon came to a corner but before we could turn it something dashed past us soon followed by
Mithzan,
Barney,
Sky,
Red,
Jerome and
Benjamin
"Ross stop!"
One of them yelled before Ross stopped and jumped on the spot
"Why I feel like I can do anything!"
He cheered
"Ross you ain't helping yourself! what did you drink?!"
Barney asked... well more like a yell
"Uh give me a sec"
He replied as his foot became a blur
"L-u-c-o-z-a-d-e.... I think"
He finished
"Ross you know you get hipper when it comes to energy drinks"
Benjamin moaned as we starred blankly at them
"Do you listen I said he'll forget dimwit"
Mithzan replied as we noticed bandages on his head,neck and back
"I do not forget!"
Ross yelled making blood drip from his bandaged neck
"Oh really what's your job then?"
Mithzan replied
"...no comment"
He replied in grumpy manner
"Might I ask why was you out of your room and attacking a vending machine"
Sky asked
"That stupid monitor kept beeping so I left it for a walk"
He started
"I have no idea why I was attacking the vending machine..
Last thing i remember was having the drink"
Ross chuckled as he looked towards us before his ears went low behind his head causing the others to look at us
"What are you doing here?"
Red asked
"I-its visiting hours"
Aph replied as Mithzan looked at the clock
"Oh yeah"
He sighed before walking over to Ross
"Come on go back to you room"
Mithzan huffed causing Ross to step back
"No"
He groaned
"Why?"
Mithzan asked
"Do I look like I wanna spend another 24 hours with that annoying monitor"
He explained as he looked around
"I swear it does it on purpose"
He mumbled as an idea sprung in my mind
"W-well what about he comes with us... we can look after him"
I replied as they looked at me
"If you want the others can come"
I continued as I could see Aph hating me for it
"Uh a word please"
He said before dragging me down the hall
"Follow"
He ordered before Aph and the others aside from Ross, Barney, Sky, Red, Jerome and Benjamin came up next to me
"Alright what are you guys playing at?"
He asked
"Look we just want to help him"
Aph stated as she stepped forward
"Aph I've cared for thousands of patients"
He started
"I know when they're lying"
He chuckled as he looked behind us
"Where's Zane?"
He asked before Gene sighed
"You see that's another reason were here"
Laurence stated
"Zane's the...monster that attacked Ross"
I finished as Mithzan starred at me
"And why do you want him to go with you?"
He asked changing the subject as we stayed silent
"To get that thing out!?"
He continued
"Yeah"
Travis squeaked as he hid behind me
"Fine take him, don't come running back to me when he has a panic attack!"
He yelled causing us to flinch back in fear
"Max~?"
A voice spoke behind him
"Your not going with them Ross and that's fina-!"
He ordered as he turned away from us only to jump up seen as Ross was stood in front of him
"Oh come on Max~"
Ross purred
"Please~"
He continued before wrapping his arms around max's neck
"Ross?"
Max stretched in an alarmed voice as his body froze up
"What is it Max~"
Ross replied as he looked up at him before I noticed Dante holding his hands over his mouth
"Ross your instincts are kicking in again please don't do anything you'll regret"
He warned
Instincts?
"Who says I'll regret it~"
Ross continued making Max's face heat up
"Ok uh if I let you go you'll stop flirting with me right?"
He questioned as Ross's tail swayed back and forth
"Maybe~"
He replied before nibbling at his neck
Max let out a small moan as Ross continued nibbling at his neck trailing further and further up it
"Ok,ok,ok you can go"
He yelped making Ross stop in his tracks
"Thank you~"
He chuckled before letting go of him and walking away leaving us all confused.
Wait what?
Suddenly Dante bursted into laughter as he clutched his stomach
"Haha oh my Irene I'm gonna die heheha!"
He laughed as Max spun around
"Shut up"
He growled before rubbing his neck as his head was bright red
"Someone's got love bites"
Dante continued to tease
"Hey he can't help it"
He replied as he walked behind us to a room before walking in
"What do ya mean can't help it?"
Katelyn chuckled as we stood at the doorway letting Max rome from one side of the small medicine room to the other.
"It's part of his... Injuries so he'll sometimes act like an actual squirrel"
He replied
"And if I was you I wouldn't get on his bad side"
He added as he handed us a med kit
"In there's all his medication"
He started
"MAKE.SURE.HE.TAKES.THEM"
He ordered as he walked past us only to jump back as Ross came running back
"I'm so sorry Max i-i didnt- mean to- I cou-ldnt-"
He panicked as Max chuckled
"Well I don't blame ya I cant resist me either"
He teased making Ross hide behind his scarf as he stayed silent
"I'm kidding Ross I already forgave you"
Max chuckled

Ross's POV

I nibbled at Max's neck noticing him let out a small moan.
"Ok,Ok,Ok you can go"
He whined before I slowly removed my mouth from his neck
"Thanks~"
I replied before walking away around the corner
Wait?
Did I just?
I thought as I looked back
Oh Irene I did?!
I dashed back to him
"I'm so,so sorry Max i-i didnt- mean to- I cou-ldnt-"
I started
"Well I don't blame ya I wouldn't resist me either"
He teased making me take cover behind my scarf as I pushed it further up
"I'm kidding Ross I already forgave you"
He chuckled before we walked to the registration centre probably to check me out of the hospital.
"If anything happens please bring him back"
Max mothered
It's good to know he cares but that's his job... right?
Once that was done we said our goodbyes to Max and Shelby as my...coworkers? followed behind me.
There was two cars and a small, old truck parked outside
"Now What?"
Benjamin asked in a yawn
"You, are all gonna go home"
I told them as i turned around
"What?!"
They all yelled causing my ears to twitch
"Max told me how you wouldn't leave the hospital (other than for work) meaning you haven't had a goods night sleep"
I continued
Even though its evening
"We can't-"
They tried to say before I interrupted them
"Look i know you care about me, I really do but you can't risk your own health for mine"
I explained as Jerome grabbed my shoulders
"Ross?"
He asked
"I just don't want to be a big burden"
I replied
"A burden?"
He started
"You could have died!
That's a big enough burden!"
He yelled as he randomly shook me making a pain shoot up my spine.
I winced as he stopped
"Sorry"
He mumbled before releasing me and looking to the ground
"Heh Jerome its not like I'm leaving town"
I chuckled stretching my back
"Fine but we'll be seeing you soon got it"
Barney replied before they all walked away.
I turned around to notice everyone in either one of the cars or the truck
"Come on"
Dante laughed from inside the truck as he swung open the rusty door letting me sit down next to him.
I slowly closed the door before strapping my seat belt across me letting Travis pull away from the curb.
Why does something not feel right?
We sat in silence as I looked around the dusty truck noticing a rear view mirror sat above us, a crack running down it.
I then looked to my left to notice the wing mirror missing making me loosen my scarf.
Stay clam
I thought as I tried to open the window but found it stuck in place making small breathes leave my mouth
"You Ok there Ross?"
Travis asked as I realised I was stroking my tail
"Huh? Oh yeah yeah"
I replied as he continued to drive before running a red light
"Uh Travis?"
I asked
"Uhm"
He replied as i notice the gear stick going crazy
"I know this is gonna sound stupid but"
I started
"Do you know how to drive!"
I yelled causing him to look at me.
"I'm learning OK!"
He replied as i then notice people crossing in front of us
"But I don't mess with gear sticks!"
He started before I cut him off
"Watch out!"
I yelled as I grabbed the stirring wheel before pulling it towards me making the truck vir left missing the civilians by an inch
"What are you waiting for, stop the truck!?"
I yelled
"I would if the brakes worked!"
He yelled back as I groaned
"Move it"
I ordered as i quickly unbuckled my seat belt before switching places with him.
I re-fastened my seat belt before tugging at the keys
"Come on"
I moaned before it pulled away making the satisfying sound of the engine shut down
Now we roll
I though before noticing a hill emerge in the near distance
"Great what now?!"
Dante moaned as my mind flooded with idea's.
Ring
Ring...
Ring
Ring...
His phone rung before he accepted the call
"What are you doing!?"
Who sounded to be Aph yell as the hill inched closer
"The brakes have gone!"
Dante yelled back as we slowed down to a crawl before reaching the edge only be perfectly balanced
"No one move a muscle"
Travis ordered as I removed my paws from the wheel
"Boy were lucky, if we stopped the engine a second later we would be D-e-a-"
He started before the rear view mirror fell to the ground, unbalancing the car immediately
"You had to open up your stupid mo-"
I started before the car zapped down the hill and towards a docking bay.
They both yelled as I tried to open the window to find that this one was also stuck making me smash my elbow against it.
"If I was you I'd find a way out and quick!"
I said as the deck drawn closer and closer towards us
"The doors won't budge,why won't they budge?!"
Dante panicked
I then tried the stirring wheel but that ended up busted too
"Where on earth did ya get this truck?!"
I yelled
"Hey it was the only thing rentable"
He moaned
"Heheha"
A voice chuckled
Wha?
"Lets hope you kept the recite"
I mumbled as the window was engulfed by water
"Oh no"
Dante whined as the glass began to shatter
We all looked at one another asthough it was a dream before water gushed in at us.
It violently hit us as I pawed at my buckle
Wait how do you?
I thought as I pulled at it
No,no don't forget, please don't forget!
I continued as Travis and Dante ducked under and through the shattered glass window leaving me behind.
I groaned as the water rose up my back making it sting in pain.
It then reached my neck as I could feel it sinking through the bandages and into my wounds.
Why does Irene hate me?!
