"Squid Killer to squirrel over"
I was awoken by my walky talky going off as I notice I was still in my office.
Oh
I quickly picked it up and held it o my mouth
"Squirrel responding to Squid Killer over"
I replied in a tired voice as I rubbed my left eye
"Uhh Zane doesn't seem to be at home and we've checked some of the nearby houses and he doesn't seem to be there over"
Sky responded
"Ok um I'll get Jinbop to post it on the news to see if anyone can find him over"
I replied as I pressed the button to my left alerting Jin that I needed him.
"What should we do over?"
Sky asked
"Um ha yes check up on Barney see if he's spotted anythin over"
I offered
"Sure then what... Over?"
He asked
"Patrol as normal... over and out"
I replied as i heard the sound of my door opening
"Over and out"
Sky replied before I placed the Wally talky back on the desk.
"Hey Ross you wanted me?"
He reminded me as he closed the door
"Yeah your gonna have to print off another profile and send it to the news reporters seen as we can't find him"
I informed Jin as he let out a sigh
"What?"
I asked him as he looked away
"My computer it takes forever to load a profile"
He replied
"And what am I supposed to do about that?"
I asked
"Get me a new one!"
He started
"You expect me to do so much with so little... I'd say I was lucky to even find the profile in the first place!"
He yelled as he slammed his fist on the desk making me jump back
"Aw squirrel scared"
He teased as i stood up
"Jin calm down"
I ordered
"No you never let me have my say!"
He yelled
"Jin. Calm. Down"
I said in a more of a firm voice
"Why on earth would anyone put you on this case! Your too scared... and don't deny it!"
He continued to yell before I picked him up by the collar
"Of course I'm scared just like every other person in this town but I will not back down until I find this thing! now have you got that into your thick skull!"
I yelled as Jin shut his eyes in fear before nodding
"And it's detective not squirrel to you"
I continued as I dropped him
"Now get to work"
I ordered
"Of course detective be right on it detective"
He moaned as he slammed the door shut
"Oh Jin"
I groaned as I opened the door and made my way to the ordering room.
What i do for my friends
When I finally got there I knocked on the open door to see Benjamin with a pencil stuck in his mouth
"Hey Ross nice to see ya"
He welcomed as I walked into the attached room to also see Jerome lifting a big box onto a tall shelf
"Hey Jerome"
I waved as I followed Benjamin earning a small wave back from Jerome before meeting a table.
"Now why did ya come all the way down here for us?"
Benjamin asked
"Well I was wondering if you could order somethin"
I replied as Jerome came trotting over
"Oh why didn't you say so, I got menny things for ya, you say what ya won't and I'll get it... Just  like that"
He replied as he snapped the pencil in half
Uhhhh by physical force?!
"Benja,Benja,Benja your giving him the wrong idea"
Jerome spoke as he picked up a news paper before bringing a cup of tea up to his mouth
"Oh...OH! no I meant that I'd get it out of storage"
He continued
"Heh heh Ok could you get a  computer?"
I asked as I held my hands behind my back
"Of course I can get it you now actually I think there's one just been put in the back... who's was it again.... Oh yeah from Josh"
He replied
"No I mean a new one"
I responded as Jerome almost spat out his drink
"What!?"
They both yelled at the same time as I leaped back
"Hey, hey I'm willing to pay for it"
I explained
"fine I'll drop it off when it arrives... then the money"
Benjamin replied as he sat at his computer
"Why do ya need a new one anyway"
Jerome asked as he placed his cup on the desk still starring at the news paper
"Eh Jin's getting annoyed cos his computer ain't working correctly"
I replied
"But I don't blame him I would if i used computers"
I finished

Benjamin informed me
"Alright Thanks guys...sorry but I can't talk long ceya"
I replied as I walked to the door
"Good luck with your case"
I heard Jerome yell
"I'm gonna need it!"
I yelled back as I walked down the hall

Dante POV

"Z-zane you ok?"
I asked as I saw Zane in the kitchen
"Y-eah I'-m fi-"
But suddenly he fell to the ground before I heard grunts come from behind the table.  Soon them grunts turned into coughs as I began walking over towards him.
"Z-zane?"
Suddenly a paw flew up into the air and sunk its claws into the table to hoist it's self up.
He breathed heavy as he starred at the table allowing a dark substance to drip from his mouth.
"I-m fin-e"
He replied

"You don't look like it"
I commented
"I-i sai-d I'm f-fine"
He said in a deeper voice as he looked up at me
"Ok,ok,ok"
I replied as he grabbed a cloth and began washing up the substance
"W-what is it?"
I asked as I walked closer
"D-o I lo-ok l-like I k-know"
He responded
"A-any-way who-o set th-e clock at th-is tim-me of th-e mo-rnin in t-he basem-ent?"
He asked
Wait what clock
"Uh we don't have a clock"
I replied
"B-but i-t w-oke me u-p"
He continued as I gave him a confused look
"Well if there's a clock down there it shouldn't be working"
I responded as he threw the cloth in the bin before walking over to the couch
"What are ya doing?"
I asked as he sat down
"I'm ju-st gon-na sta-y h-here fo-r aw-hile"
He explained
"Ok I'm just gonna... Yeah"
I replied as I began to walk away
"A-nd Dan-te p-please d-don't ment-ion t-this t-o the o-others"
He pleaded
"Why?"
I asked
"I've d-done en-ough dam-age alr-eady"
He continued as I let out a sigh
"Fine but if this turns into something serious then I'm speaking up... deal"

He replied before I walked off to my room

I was sat on the couch as I starred at a blank screen of a television.
I sighed as I lay down on the couch

I slowly pulled my soul out of my chest and inspected it.

I placed it back in my chest before looking up at the ceiling some hours passed as I continued starring at the ceiling until

Without thinking I got up and opened the door to see Nicole
"Dante I can't believe yo-"
She yelled as she turned to face me only to cut herself off with a scream.
I shielded my ears as her scream echoed down my ears
"Zane?!"
Travis yelled
oh yeah monster
"O-oh +++++ I-i for-got!"
I yelled as i grabbed Nicole before she fell into my arms
"How could you forget?!"
He yelled as I closed the door and dragged her to the couch
"I-i do-n't k-know... I-i ju-st d-did!"
I yelled back as I lifted her onto it
"What happened?!"
Dante asked as he and the others came running in
"W-what d-oes i-t lo-ok lik-e?"
I replied 
"Why is she here?"
He asked
"S-she wa-nted t-o se-e yo-u... At- lea-st that's w-what i-I he-ard"
I responded as I backed away and sat on the other couch before rubbing my poor ears

Dante asked as Garroth sat down next to me

"That's probably for the best"
Laurence commented as he sat next to Garroth
"Anyway Zane why was you up?"
Travis asked as Dante starred at me

I replied as I pointed to the glass next to the sink.

My nose began slowly sniffing as i looked to my right to see yet again another mouse
"W-what i-s it wi-th y-our house an-d mi-se?!"
I asked as i kept my eyes on it

Soon my head began twitching as i looked dead at its throat before my vision turned blood like red
"Zane?"
Garroth asked as I crawled on the floor
"Uh T-travis?"
Laurence said in an alarmed voice
I snarled at the mouse causing it to stop and stare at me letting its nose sniff violently in fear.
"Don't worry just keep out of his eye shot"
I heard Travis warn
Wait what am I doing?!
My vision began switching from normal to red as my body shook viciously unable to choose weather to attack are flee.
"You know you want it"
The voice teased
"Kill it"
He commanded
"Why has he stopped"
I heard Dante ask
"Give it a sec"

Suddenly I felt a pain dig into my stomach
"KILL IT"
I lunged at the mouse only for it to scurry toward the basement before i dashed after it clawing at it as it jumped down the steps.
The door behind me flew shut as my night-vision kicked in letting me trap the mouse under my paw before hearing its loud squeaks.
I removed part of my paw revealing its neck.
I could see the blood pulsing through its veins, through it thin veins... But not for long.
I bit down on its neck letting it's last squeals escaped it's mouth as the satisfying taste of blood filled mine.

I quickly let go letting the blood flood out of my mouth and onto the cold concrete floor as i backed away from it only to see it's chest rising with air.

I scurried back up to it before picking it up and starring at the innocent mouse
"You can't leave it suffering can you?"
He asked as I felt tears steam down my skull before biting back down on it making sure it was dead.
As soon as I did i flew back against a wall letting my feet collapse beneath me. I curled up against the wall and held my head in my knee's hopping that i would just wake up back at home with that stupid headache and sleep through it.
"W-why di-d I ha-ve t-o go to th-at s-stup-id par-k"
I whined to myself letting my tears stream down freely
Why didn't they stop me?
I was filled with rage, rage of myself, rage of them, rage of him! As I sunk my claws into my knees.
I breathed heavy as tears continued coming down my face but suddenly light filled the room as I hid in the shadows sobbing to myself.
"Z-zane?"
I heard Garroth asked
"G-et aw-ay"
I groaned as I heard him come closer
"A-re yo-u d-deaf? I s-said g-get aw-ay!"
I yelled causing Garroth to jump back
"Pl-ease G-et aw-ay"
I repeated in a plead as i backed away further in the corner
"Zane"
Garroth repeated in a calm voice
"Zane you can't help it"
He continued
"O-h y-yeah wh-y d-idn't y-ou sto-p me th-en!?"
I yelled
"W-was i-t to m-make m-e lo-ok mo-re li-ke a mon-ster!?"
I sobbed as I felt a hand on my shoulder
"No no Zane-"
He continued as I tilted my head away from him
"J-ust g-get ou-t"
I growled as I heard Garroth back away with a sigh and tread up the stairs.
I sat there in silence as blood dripped from my mouth
"Monster!"
"Freak!"
"Weirdo!"
"Savage!"

"Killer!"
My body jolted forward letting the different substance leave my mouth as I heard the voice

I whined as my eyes darted everywhere before noticing the collar
If nows not the time i don't know when is!
I quickly ran over to it and picked it up before holding it to my neck
Do I really won't to do this?
I reconsidered before my vision turned red making the collar snap onto me immediately turning red and sending a bolt of pain through my body.
"A-gh"
I whined as the pain stopped letting me fall to the floor.
"Gar!-"
My yell was cut off by another wave of pain
I began to claw at my neck eager to get it off ignoring the pain fully of my claws.
