I found myself asleep on my keyboard as I looked up to see a match to the sample of hair
Ohh this is pleasing
I thought as I clicked on the link for it to show a profile
Zane Ro Meave?
Where have I heard that before?

I pressed on the link to sibling to see two other profiles
Vlad Ro Meave
And
Garroth Ro Meave
Then it clicked to me
Aha i knew I recognized that name
I printed off Zane's profile and made my way to Ross's Office.
I knocked gently on it to hear a low
"Come in"
I step in before closing the door before i turned to notice Ross knelt back on his chair massaging his temples.
"Oh Jin.. Sorry did you get any information?"
He asked as I took a seat and he scooted forward
"Yeah, here's the profile"
I replied as I handed him to printed piece of paper.
"Zane Ro Meave hmmm.. I'll send Sky and Red too his address to have a little talk and if possible for him to come down to the station Ok.. But for now we just have to wait"
He responded as he took out a small Wally talky from his draw
"Squirrel to... Squid killer over"
He spoke as I chuckled at Sky's nickname
"Squid killer responding to squirrel over"
Sky voice was heard from the devise
"Could you check out (address) address for any information on the attack yesterday over?"
Ross asked
"Sure squid kille- wait what was the address again over?"
Sky responded as Ross let out a sigh
"(Address) over"
Ross replied
"... One more time... Over"
Sky teased
"Sky I swear to Irene that if I have to say it again I'm coming outside to your car and driving it straight off a cliff... Over"
Ross argued
"Ok okokokok.... But seriously what is it...over?"
I covered my mouth as to hold my laughter at bay as Ross continued
"Squirrel to squid killer stay right where you are over"
He replied as he made his to the door
Wait he isn't serious... is he?
He walked out into the hallway as I trailed behind him trying to catch up too him as quick as possible.
We eventually made it outside of the station to see sky's police car parked across the road.
Boy it's dark
We crossed before Ross when straight to Sky's window and signaled him to wined it down.
He did as Ross went down to meet eye contact
"Now do i have to say it again and your gonna have to pay for a new police car?"
He questioned as sky looked towards him
"You wouldn't"
Sky responded
"Try me"
Ross challenged as he tilted sky's sunglasses down only to stare right at him.
I couple minutes past, Ross kept a completely straight face as Sky was dramatically holding back the earge to laugh.
I don't blame him
Sky soon gave in seen as he slowly looked away making a smirk light up on Ross's face.
"Here"
Ross replied as he handed him the printed sheet of paper
"Check this place out tomorow mornin.. Got it?"
He continued
"Got it!"
Red yelled from the passengers seat
"See he's learning"
I replied as I looked into red's eyes his red glistening eyes
W-ait!? didn't they used to be brown?
"Ok we got it... Over"
Sky chuckled as he started his engine and drove off.
"Sometimes it feels good to be the boss.. heh Boss Ross heh"
Ross chuckled as we made our way back into the station.
"Hey Ross?"
I asked as I looked towards him
"Yeah"
He replied as he continued to walk
"Didn't Red used to have brown eyes?"
I continued as we stopped in front of Ross's office
"...oh yeah he did.. but there's something called change"
He replied as he walked in
"I guess your right... Anyway I'm headin home now are ya comin?"
I asked as I grabbed the door handle
"N-no i-i have somthin to catch up on"
He responded as he sat down.
I sighed as I closed the door
Irene why did they give him this case?!
I walked back to my lab grabbed my coat and headed out the station
"Bye Carl"
I said as I awoken the accountant from what seemed to be a deep sleep.
"Oh bye Jin"
He yawed as he played his head back down.
There here to work not sleep!

Zanes' POV

Darkness,
That was all I could see
Nothing,
Was all that was there
Only me.
The normal me
Why wasn't I there for him?
A voice broke through the darkness
"Garroth?"
I asked to the darkness
I'm sorry brother
"Garroth!"
Brother?
What happened?
Why didn't you tell me?
Why?
He asked as a bright light stood next to me.
"I'm sorry Garroth i should have told you from the beginning... but you wouldn't remember your past anyway... You'd think i was crazy!"
How did your soul get so dark?
It asked
"......"
Sorry brother you'd kill me if you knew I was thinking like this.
"Oh.. you can't hear me can you?"
I love you brother
"I-i love you too"
I replied as the light disappeared and the dark void returned back to silence
"Oh how touching"
A voice was heard from the darkness
"Shut up!"
I yelled as I wiped my head around
"You don't tell me what to do"
It replied as It stayed within the darkness
"Too scared to come face me!"
I yelled as I crossed my arms
"Nope"
It started
"But i think your scared to see me though"
It continued as I stayed silent
"That's it isn't it"
It teased as something tapped me on the shoulder.
I didn't bother turning around seen as I had a pretty good idea of who it was but something caught my attention as a sharp pain diged into it.
I wiped my head around to see.
Me?
There stood the monster a broken muzzle wrapped around it's neck growled viscously as I backed away from it.
It looked as though he was about to charge at me, he did but was pulled back by chains attached to a dark mist.
It snapped at me viciously eager to sink it's teeth into my tender skin
"Why are you scared.. it's you isn't it"
The voice continued to tease as the monster pulled at his chains
"N-no that isn't me"
I replied
"Heh I think two people disagree with you"
The voice continued as Zenix appeared behind me with a massive bite in his right shoulder.
"Of course it's you, you always hated me and Balto!"
He yelled as Balto appeared next to him
"Yeah you monster!"
He yelled
"Freak!"
"Savage!"
"Weirdo!"
I backed away from them both shielding my ears from the negative remarks they spat at me.
"N-no I'm not a monster!"
I yelled back
"Oh really does
'Explain what that I'm a monster?!'
Ring a bell?"
It replied as Balto and Zenix grabbed my arms and began dragging me towards myself.
"I didn't mean too!"
I yelled as I squirmed to get free.
The growling, chained me opened his wide skull as I was dragged closer to him.
The closer I got the more I feared and the more I released how much of a monster I really looked like.
Danger!
I looked up at him with my tear filled eyes as he starred down back at me before he snapped his mouth shut making me jolt awake with fear.

Everyone looked towards me as I breathed heavy on Garroth's top?!
Garroth awoke before I noticed I was hugging him and quickly released him.
"Oh hey brother... sorry if I made you uncomfortable"
Garroth explain as I crawled off of him and sat next to him instead.
"N-no I'm f-fine...uh w-what ti-ime is-s it?"
I asked
"Uh around 9pm?"
Lucinda replied as she looked at her watch
"You and Garroth~Kun looked so cute sleeping together"
Kawaii~Chan squealed as I felt myself heat up in embarrassment.
"T-than-ks I q-ues-s"
I replied as the room fell into silence
"Why are you stuttering?"
Laurence asked as I looked too the floor
"....."
I sighed as Travis looked up from his book
"Was it your transformation?"
He asked as I nodded
"Did it hurt?"
Laurence asked as I looked up at him
"Laurence shut it"
Aaron ordered
"What I was just asking?"
He protested
"I know but really right now?"
Aaron continued
"But when though!?"
He yelled back
"Ca-n w-e cha-nge t-the sub-ject plea-se"
I asked as Laurence looked over at me
"Ok!... Who did it?! Who turned you into this-this monster!"
He yelled as I flinched at the word 'monster'
"S-o th-at's w-what yo-ou see me-e as?"
I asked as I continued looking at him
"...well yeah you said it yourself remember"
He replied
"Explain what that I'm a monster?!"
"So tell me who did it 'Monster'!"
He spat as he went right up in my face

Danger
My thoughts were interrupted by Garroth as he stood up
"LAURENCE! MY BROTHER IS NOT A MONSTER AND NEVER WILL BE NO MATTER WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE OR WHO EVER DID IT TO HIM, NOW SIT DOWN!"
He yelled as Laurence quickly sat back down leaving me and the rest stunned.
"Ok... That just happened"
Dante pointed out as Aph and Kawaii~Chan left the room to probably get something.
"Laurence, Garroth, Dante I need a word with you...now"
Travis ordered as he stood up soon followed by the other three.
Soon Aph and Kawaii~Chan came trotting in
"Anyone up for truth or dare?!"
She cheerfully yelled
"I'm i-n"
I replied even though my leg was still bandaged
It'll be fine
"Sure"
Aaron continued
"Ok"
Kawaii~Chan and Lucinda responded
"Why not?"
Katelyn asked herself
"Ok who goes first?"
She asked
"You choose"
Aaron suggested
"Ok Zane truth or dare?"
She asked mw

I replied as she skipped over to me before whispering into my ear her dare.

Laurence's POV

Travis lead us into the kitchen as he asked
"Ok so I'm guessing Zane's staying with us?"
"Yeah"
"sure"
"Nope"
"Three against one we win"
Travis announced as I sighed
"Ok so I think there's something you should all know.....If Zane doesn't eat his food source he'll be forced to eat away at his... own soul"
He swallowed before continuing
"Right now he's only half Zvinx but when he begins eating his own soul he'll start to become more of a Zvinx than a human being... and eventually Zane will be lost forever within the creature, trapped until the creature is destroyed"
He explained
"So we can't stop Zane from eating souls?"
I asked
"Yeah but like i said earlier he can slow down the process by eating natural prey"
He explained as I nodded my head
"Just thought I'd let you know so that it doesn't come as a complete shock... Any questions"
He finished
"I have one why was he purring?"
I asked as Travis looked towards me
"Purring? When did he purr?"
He asked
"When we went into the living room and he was sat on Garroth's lap"
I replied
"Uhhh I guess it's a symbol of trust?"
He guessed as he began walking back into the living room.
I soon followed behind before I was pinned to the floor by Zane
"Y-you wan-na see w-what a r-eal mo-nster i-s?"
He asked in a deep voice as he began growling viciously at me before pulling his hand onto head sliding his skull open.
I gulped as I saw two different glowing eyes stare down at me before he pulled my soul up to separate us.
Oh my Irene
"R-oar..H-a got-cha!"
He laughed as he jumped off of me before pulling his skull back over his head.
"W-what?"
I asked as i sat up
"It was a dare"
Aph explained as she picked up a pink cupcake
"Zane how are you walking on you foot?"
Travis asked as Zane stood up
"So-methin-g cal-led b-alance.... And f-ails"
He replied as he helped me up
"No pain?"
He asked
"A b-it bu-t it's n-not de-adly"
Zane explained as he limped back to the couch and sat down
"Ok who's next?"
Aph asked
"Um Aa-ron tr-uth or d-are?"
Zane asked as I sat down next to him
"Truth"
He replied
"O-k do you li-ke cup-cakes more tha-n pop o-r pop mo-re than cupca-kes"
Zane continued as Kawaii~Chan held pop in one hand and a cupcake in the other behind Aaron.
Ohhhh
"Uhh I must say cupcakes because-"
He was interrupted by Kawaii~Chan slamming the cupcake in his face.
It covered his entire face with icing as the wrapper plopped to the ground before he licked his lips
"mmm Tasty"
He laughed as he made two hole to see out of and another to breathe
This is gonna be a long night
