On Thursday, I left Mrs. Jackson residence and traveled to Texas, where I had some unspoken words to say to someone.

I did it dad, i think I learned all that other stuff you wanted me to know, my crowns are here. They're my world, they keep me at peace and they keep me..me.

If you were here I'm sure Zain won't stop questioning you about everything. As he was growing, I made sure he'd knew who you are.

I wanted to raise him differently, I wanted to break the chain of fear that constantly hovers of the Williams's generations. I wanted to give him a normal life, a life where we don't have to run or hide.

But that didn't work, my baby lost his humanity. I watched him perform the act I wished he'd never do in his entire life. He did all that in the name of his family, he wanted his revenge and he got it.

He's growing to become like me, someone I don't want him to become.

"Mommy?" I tapped out of my zone and looked down at Zain. He was kneeling on the dirt with his hand on the head stone of King Williams. "Who is this? He has my last name." He asked, tracing and reading the familiar letters of our family's name.

I smiled, "He's who you've been wanting to see since you were a baby. He's your grandpa." Zain's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, I laughed at this, "He died and he's buried here, right where your kneeling."

Zain got spooked and quickly jumped onto the grassy area, away from my dad's grave, "I'm sorry grandpa! I didn't mean to stand on you." He said fearful.

I'm pretty sure my dad is the only person my son fears, all the stories I told Zain moved him to want to become him. He has respect and fear for my father.

Ant crawled near my dad's head stone and used the stone to stand up, Zain gasped and pulled Ant away. "No, don't do that. Grandpa will be mad." He warned his brother, who by the way ignored him. He seemed to be more enticed in someone else's head stone.

I followed his gaze and met my brother, Jacques Williams. My legs moved me to the grave next to my dad, how did I not see this? I guess I was too focused on my dad.

Kneeling down, I read the words on Jhak's stone, "Brother and Son"

Yeah he was a brother, he was my brother. I'm sorry for what happened to you. I took our time for granted, I thought we'd have more time together. But I guess I was wrong, your time was cut short.

"I love you Jhak." I said smiling as I placed my hands on his stone. Zain came to me with his brother next to him, "Who's this?"

Looking at Zain and back at the stone, I sighed, "This is my brother, your uncle." Zain stayed silent as he stared at Jhak's stone.

Time passed as we stood in silence, "Zain, we have a new chapter in our lives. This one will be happy because we'll be together." I said smiling at him.

Zain nodded his head, "Mommy?"

I hummed, giving him a green light to speak what was on his mind. "I want to be strong, I wanna know how to fight, so I can protect you and Ant. Teach me how to be like you." He said seriously as he looked down at his fisted hand.

I knew one day he'd ask me this, back at Mrs. Jackson's house I saw him trying to copy some of my fighting moves, it was obvious he wanted to learn how to fight but I didn't want things to have come to this.

Raising him the same way I was raised will just go against what I promised myself. I can't teach him, but if I don't he'll still be persistent and possibly go on to find someone who will.

I'd rather I teach him than someone else, "If I teach you how to fight, promise me you'll fight only when you have to. Don't go fighting because you want to, you do it when your in harms way."

Zain smiled and nodded his head, "I promise to fight only when I'm in danger."

Well then I guess my chapter isn't gonna just be happy, "Come on, if you wanna be like me just know I'm not gonna go easy on you." I said walking down the hill towards my car.

Zain followed me with Ant behind him, "I know that, that's why imma try my hardest to get strong. Stronger than you!" He said happily.

I smiled knowing my little Zain will grow up protecting his family, he'll grow up to be a better me.
